View Comments HonorHealth is the latest Arizona hospital system to require its workforce to get a COVID-19 vaccine by Nov. 1. The Scottsdale-based nonprofit health care organization announced the requirement to its employees Friday, according to a company statement. Employees will need to submit proof of their vaccination. HonorHealth employs about 12,800 people across six hospitals, medical offices, surgery centers and other medical and research facilities in the greater Phoenix area. It also has 3,500 affiliated providers and 3,100 volunteers. “Reasonable accommodations” will be considered, officials said, and more details will be provided to employees at a later date. Company officials said the vaccine requirement is in line with HonorHealth’s mission “to improve the health and well-being of those we serve” and to “provide the utmost safety” for patients, staff and the community.
