Hong Kong plans to redevelop Choi Hung Estate, a well-known public housing estate

Housing Authority of Hong Kong has approved a plan to build a new housing estate in the city. The project is expected to take about 15 years to complete. The new home will be named after a former owner of the estate, who died in a car accident in the 1970s. The estate will be built on the site of the former owner's house, which was destroyed in a fire in the 1950s. It is expected that the project will be completed by the end of the decade.
