Countless marriages, funerals, community events and music festivals have made Zion United Church a central part of life in Moose Jaw for more than a century, but now the church is in need of $100,000 to replace its boiler and keep its doors open.
For Jack Ross, a member of the church’s finance board, the call to the congregation and community for funds goes far beyond just a desire to keep an historically significant building functioning.
