High school contractual teachers urge Dispur to provide regular status
The All Assam Secondary (Additional) Contractual Teachers Association urged the newly formed state government to regularize their jobs as promised by former chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal government.

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Secondary (Additional) Contractual Teachers Association urged the newly formed state government to regularize their jobs as promised by former chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal government.
It is to be mentioned here that in the July 2020, the then Sarbananda Sonowal led-state government decided that all the contractual teachers in the state High Schools would be granted with a 'regular' status.
