Well-known Caledon resident, broadcaster and swing music aficionado Henry Holloway sadly passed away on Sunday 20 December 2020 after a five-year-long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Holloway was born in the small Limpopo town of Zebediela, where his father owned the local butchery.
Two moves to Pretoria and Vrede followed before the family settled in Evaton after his father’s death. Holloway completed his schooling in Vereeniging, where he excelled at rugby, cricket and athletics.
