Hendersonville Farmers Market to open season with 45 vendors, food trucks, music, Kids' Corner Special to the Times-News Residents and visitors will want to circle May 8 on their calendars as the opening date for the Hendersonville Farmers Market at the Historic Train Depot in the Seventh Avenue District. Approximately 45 vendors are prepared to sell local food products including eggs, herbs, produce, plants, baked goods, coffee, meat, honey and more. In honor of Mother’s Day weekend, vendors will also have special offerings with mom in mind, such as fresh cut flowers, eco-friendly bath and body products, unique greeting cards, jewelry and handwoven baskets.
