Henderson Co. woman faces drug trafficking, child endangerment charges


HENDERSON, Ky. — A Henderson County woman was arrested after allegedly selling drugs while her three children were in the vehicle with her.
The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force alleges that Johna M. Stone, 29, 6000 section of Kentucky 1299, took her children to the parking lot of Cairo Elementary School where she is accused of selling roughly 11 grams of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
The incident is said to have occurred on the afternoon of July 6, according to authorities.
Following the alleged transaction, the task force members said Stone was stopped near the intersection of U.S. 41-Alternate and Kentucky 425. Three children, ages 4, 5 and 10, were allegedly in the vehicle with Stone.
