‘Wheel of Fortune:’ Woman wins home in ‘Margaritaville’-themed community

Pat Sajak said “This is just nuts,” and Jimmy Buffett tweeted that it was “Amazing:” A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant has won a home in one of the Latitude Margaritaville communities inspired by the laid-back lifestyle celebrated in Buffett’s songs.
The happy event was shown Tuesday evening as Laura Trammell, a sixth-grade teacher from Mission Viejo, Calif., correctly solved the hidden phrase “I caught a glimpse.” She didn’t know what she was playing for until Sajak revealed that she’d won the house, valued at $375,000.
According to information provided by the game show’s producers, she is the first ever to win a house in the show’s bonus round.
