Former Zimbabwe captain Heath Streak has been slapped with an eight-year ban after admitting to five separate breaches of the ICC's anti-corruption code.
After initially contesting the allegations, the 47-year-old, who played 65 Tests and 189 ODIs for Zimbabwe between 1993 and 2005, admitted to the charges and agreed to the ICC sanction in lieu of an Anti-Corruption Tribunal hearing.
Streak had been under investigation for his involvement as a coach in games played through 2016 and 2018.
The games include Zimbabwe's international cricket fixtures from when he coached the side as well as coaching stints in Twenty20 leagues around the world including the IPL, BPL and Afghanistan Premier League.
