‘The Dog Show Extravaganza’ returns to Lee Civic Center

The Lee Civic Center will play host to man’s best friend — 1,800 of them — this weekend as The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club presents “The Dog Show Extravaganza” sponsored by Powerhouse Dog Supply.
The three-day event, from Friday through Sunday, will include things similar to what attendees would see at the Westminster Dog Show, including confirmation, where the judges decide the winners for each breed and Best in Show.
Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The event is free, but there will be a $5 charge for parking.
