Former skipper Hashan Tillakaratne has been appointed as the temporary batting coach of the Sri Lanka team. Tillakaratne had started working with the senior team ahead of the one-off Test against Zimbabwe, Tillakaratne will as of now continue until the end of the India series before the board takes a call as to who will take over the role permanently.
