Officials discovered the malfunctioning pump Tuesday evening. The malfunctioning pump serves all of the nature preserve’s bathroom facilities. City crews and a contractor worked Wednesday to troubleshoot the issue, but were unable to verify the cause of the failure. Heavy equipment was brought in Thursday to help fix the pump.
