Over 15 Ham operators from Mangaluru and Udupi facilitated communication with 2,000 global Ham counterparts as part of the ARSI National Field Day Contest. The operators set up stations at St Mary’s Island and provided a robust platform for connecting with international Ham radio operators. The initiative garnered interest from educational institutions, with over 30 students from NITK and 60 students from Manipal Institute of Technology observing the operations closely.
