green zones across the country including one in Tumakuru for operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (
RPA) or
drones.
“Around 66 areas have been identified as temporary Green Zones for operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) upto a maximum altitude of 400 ft AGL in conformance with the provisions contained in UAS Rules 2021,
DGCA Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR),” stated an aeronautical information publication supplement (AIP).
