SOUTHBURY — Police are investigating the theft of a tip jar from the counter at Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe at Union Square.

Police said two men walked into the deli Tuesday at 4:50 p.m., ordered sandwiches, grabbed the tip jar and walked out with $60 to $70 in cash.
