Fargo, ND, USA / 740 The FAN Mar 15, 2021 6:38 AM GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – Two people were taken into custody Sunday night in Grand Forks after a wild pursuit and crash. Police responded to a report of a theft-in-progress at Walmart on 32nd Avenue South. A witness followed the vehicle to a convenience store until officers arrived and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver sped off, ran a red light and fled west on Highway 2, and attempted to run officers off the road. The driver then made a U-turn, headed east, and hit a patrol vehicle, disabling their vehicle. The driver, Rani Howard, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, fleeing driving under suspension. She was also wanted on multiple warrants. Isaiah Wise Spirit, a passenger, was arrested on drug-related charges and giving false information.
