The fabulously prolific TV presenter joined the Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky today to talk about his exciting new job at - where else? - Virgin Radio, filming his TV show without an audience and moving on from Radio 2 to give his legs a rest.
Cue the fanfare: Tomorrow he’ll be joining the Virgin family with guests Faye Ripley and Ralf Little - but the pro is getting first day jitters.
He admitted: “I’m 58 and I’m nervous and excited. And I probably haven’t had adrenalin in my body for a long time. So tomorrow morning I may OD, you may hear a clunk!
