Grab your hiking boots — a popular state park is reopening this weekend. Government Canyon State Natural Area announced on Twitter Tuesday it will reopen Friday for day-use and camping. On Feb. 16, the state park closed to the public due to winter storm conditions and utility issues. "We appreciate your patience and support while we recovered from last week's winter weather the past few days," the state park tweeted. Reservations for a day-pass typically fill up fast, so grab them while you can. Click here for reservations.
