It dedicated a doodle illustrated by Baltimore-based visitor artist Ashanti Fortson, remembering Guttmann on his 122nd birthday. Born on July 3, 1899, the German-born British neurologist established the Paralympic Games in England. He is considered to be one of the founding fathers of organised physical activities for people with a disability. It is as a result of his efforts that right now, Paralympic athletes are acknowledged for his or her abilities and achievements.
