SunStar February 11, 2021 AS WE usher in the Chinese New Year, we see reports and features on what to do and observe for good luck in the coming year of the metal ox: fruits on the table, ampaos (red packets) with money in a bowl of uncooked rice, boiled eggs, coins on the windowsills, pineapple charms, and many other trinkets and practices for good luck. We are all aware that the past year has been quite a nightmare for all of us, what with Covid-19 radically changing life as we know it for almost an entire year...and counting. Being with the agency tasked primarily with registration and monitoring of corporations and partnerships, we have seen businesses struggle and cope with the current pandemic -- a considerable number had to close shop, and others had no choice but to suspend operations.
