Local News 8 Reports how Wesley and Ruth Wallace had taken the four-year-old Simba to the campsite on Good Friday. The goldendoodle ran towards Wesley as the man stood on a rock wall, attempting to leap towards his owner but tumbling down the cliff instead. KCRG 9.2 News states how a search for the poor dog began at nightfall. Initially all hoped seemed lost, but then things took a turn for the better when the search party discovered Simba was still breathing. Wesley’s father and a family friend managed to bring him back up to safety with a hammock.
