Girls getting pushed into Kidderminster canal was mum's "worst nightmare"

A KIDDERMINSTER mum has voiced her horror after her daughters were pushed into a canal.
Ellie-Mai and Paige Gray, aged 12 and 14, were walking along the canal path behind McDonalds on Weavers Wharf on Saturday (December 19) at around 2.30pm.
They were approached by a group of six teenage boys and pushed into the canal.
Lisa Gray, of Offmore Road, told The Shuttle: “I am devastated. I have never seen the girls the way that they were when they walked through my door.
“It’s a parent’s worst nightmare.
“The boys did it not knowing if they could swim.
“To know that I was that close to losing my girls was heart-breaking. I can’t get over it.
