Gintama: The Final Anime Film Tops 1.4 Billion Yen

Gintama The Final, the new anime film of Hideaki Sorachi's
Gintama manga, has earned more than 1.4 billion yen (about US$13.27 million), and sold more than 1 million tickets as of Sunday.
Participating theaters have been offering the mini-poster shown below as a giveaway to theatergoers since January 26. The scene depicts a "what-if" scene with erstwhile friends and enemies Gintoki, Takasugi, and Katsura with their late master Yoshida Shouyou.
The film opened at #1 in Japan on January 8 and ended
