In a lineup loaded with bats, Ella Galloway's single made the difference for the Great Falls High Lady Bison.
The sophomore delivered a single with two on and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning Saturday afternoon to plate Stephanie Jablonski with the winning run in the Bison's 9-8 Eastern AA Conference win over the Billings West Golden Bears at MultiSports.
Jablonski reached on an error with one out and reached second on Alex Bloomgren's single. Tehneson Ehnes then flied to short center to set the stage for the right-handed batting Galloway.
"It was a low pitch, so I was kind of afraid," Galloway said afterward. "But I started going so I just had to stick with it."
