The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is preparing for a major milestone in the Gaganyaan program with the first test vehicle abort mission, TV-D1. The mission, scheduled for October 21, will utilize an unpressurized crew module (CM) resembling the actual Gaganyaan CM. The primary objective is to simulate abort conditions during the ascent trajectory. The success of this mission will pave the way for further qualification tests and unmanned missions, leading to the first Gaganyaan mission with Indian astronauts.
