Syracuse, N.Y. -- Geordie Kinnear was prepared for a change in his hockey wardrobe this year.
Kinnear was most recently head coach of the Springfield Thunderbirds, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers. In the off-season, Florida decided to leave Springfield and put its farm team in Charlotte. Kinnear was all set to wear the colors and logo of that team.
