(pic) has resigned as director and chairman of the board.
In a statement, SMG said the resignation of Fu takes effect from March 1,2021 and that the board would make the necessary effort to identify a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy as soon as possible.
Fu said it was an honour and privilege to serve the board of SMG and extended his gratitude to all directors, management and staff for their support, cooperation, patience and understanding during his tenure as chairman of the board.
He submitted his resignation to the board in a meeting held on Feb 25,2021 and said it was time to give way to new leadership and that he wished to spend more time with his family.
