From the Archives, 1980: Yarra revival wins Premier's suppor

In 1980, the Victorian government pledged financial support and Government cooperation to begin the revival of the polluted and underutilised Lower Yarra River from Dight’s Falls to Hobson’s Bay. The pledge followed a campaign by The Age to ‘Give The Yarra A Go’.
