That she grew up in a middleclass family . We know that. She kept saying she wants an opportunity economy, but she didnt talk specifics about how to grow the economy. I also noticed she is spending a lot of time in pennsylvania. She must win pennsylvania and i think they are probably pretty worried right now that she is coming up a little short, especially not just on middleclass voters or independents and undecideds but watch the jewish vote in pennsylvania, it could be significant in terms of either not turning out to vote for her or those deciding to vote for trump. The tariffs he wants to put on goods, this is an automatic tax on every Day Americans who have to afford essentials and food. I can admit the 28 tax the 20 Tax Rate for corporations is not good for growth, and i hope we all, once we digest this and get away from some of the politics, the tariffs he is talking about, i dont see how thats going to help the economy. I think if you were to ask economist, democrat or republican, took out the fact Donald Trump i think they would answer consistent with i am, tariffs generally are attacks on, or inflation for middle Class Greg if you buy that product peered. If america makes the product, then a tariff on a competing product that is subsidized by a country makes sense. But if america doesnt make a product then you dont have the tariff. If you are right than i except that point but i am right i hope you accept mine. Generally tariffs are attacks on people. One thing that is great about what Joe Biden did over the last few years as we invested in our ability to advance manufacturers and cities all across the country. We are going to produce things we didnt produce prior to covid. We can have that debate. My only point, as we look at these economic plans and economic proposals, i think there is a lot for people to dissect. My main take away one sect her plan, she is intending to try to benefit the Middle Class, and it appears, in my estimation, what President Trump, the Tax Cuts for corporations and Tax Cuts for wealthy americans will benefit us around the table more than it will benefit middleclass americans, and i think that is where the american people have to decide who they think plan is going to be best. He is bringing manufacturing back to the united states. She is forcing it out. And in addition to the inflation, that is a tax in itself, this whole idea that she is basically saying, you know, i grew up middleclass and he is upperclass, you know what is sick about this whole quote, she says, for Donald Trump, our economy works best if it works for the owners of the skyscrapers, Donald Trump is the guy who signs the checks for the people that built the skyscrapers. Whether it was the teamsters or the builders or the carpenters or the electricians, all of those families who had the job on those big buildings and those skyscrapers that Donald Trump build had that money and had that job because of Donald Trump. I guess in the end, what we have to recognize is if we do allow someone in this country who hates this country, like the president of iran, and we provide him secret Service Protection, and we cant provide the fundamental secret Service Protection to the president of the united states, weve got a problem. Dana, to your point, i hope they bring in someone new, somewhat outside of the field, and i wouldnt be disappointed if it was a dei candidate. The Secret Service, when agencies have this kind of dysfunction we need to fix it and congress, you have a job, give them the resources they need and put somebody else in charge because the group we have now, they are putting our president s in danger. I think that is a fairly justifiable criticism when you see what is going on, whether it is bowing or bud, we have too many examples of the primary concern of a company or even the military being distracted by this kind of woke mentality. Again, i can be critical of things i dont think are right, and Vice President Harris Plan or i wish would be different, i just think we have to be honest about what tariffs generally do to everyday american budgets. They impose inflation or impose a tax, or put it this way, they make things more expensive for everyday people. And i have not heard Id Love to hear ceos be critical of Vice President harris, sometimes, i think the corporate Tax Rate 20 is too high, 21 is about right, 15 is too low, but to say that tariffs wont put Inflation Or Wont put a tax on everyDay Americans, that defies 200 years of economic, Economics Policy here in america.
