As always, thank you for joining us. Kamala harris finally takes off the little training wheels to sit down for first solo interview. Well, here's what i know in terms of the facts. Laura: plus, the liberal ladies over at the view fawn over joe. [applause] like having one of the beatles at the table. Trump takes on world leaders hoping for president kamala. Our enemies are desperate to prevent donald trump from returning to the white house because they know i will make america great again. My angle on trump vs. The world in moments but first we are learning how close donald trump came to a third assassination attempt. The odn icon firming that it briefed the former president on an iranian plot to take him out campaign says threats were real and specific sow chaos in the united states. That's not going to stop trump. No threat will shake me. No enemy will intimidate me. I have never been more determined than i am today and i will never back down in my fight to make america great again, which is what we're doing. [cheers] so i want to make that statement because we are under threat. I have been threatened very directly. Laura: now, we all know that if this same threat happened while trump was president and it was against another candidate, it would be handled very differently. If i were the president, i would inform the threatening country, in this case iran, that if you do anything to harm this person, we are going to blow your largest cities and the country itself to smithereens. But right now we don't have that leadership or the necessary people, the necessary leaders. Laura: we don't because the one guy who could do that is busy making inappropriate jokes. It was like a bug. He just kept being there. Like a bug right there, zzvz, zzz. So you felt [laughter] [applause] laura: joining us jason miller, trump senior adviser. Jason, great to see you tonight. Now, the president made a suggestion today that the iranian plot could be linked to others. Watch. There have been two assassination attempts on my life. That we know of. And they may or may not involve possibly do, iran. In the first case in butler pennsylvania the fbi has been unable to open the three potentially foreign based apps and the second case the assassin had six cell phones in his car, yet the fbi haslike wise been unable to penetrate their guard. Who is he calling? laura: jason, did the odni give you any indication that these actually could be connected and if so what can you share with us? law, it wouldn't be appropriate that president trump had with intelligence officials but what i can say here is i'm absolutely disgusted that kamala harris and joe biden can laugh about this or completely ignore it. You heard from president trump today that if there was another country that was making threats or potential assassination attempt on a leader, such as himself or one of his political opponents, he would take immediate action. He would send a signal that they would be blown to smithereens. This is not just some political attack. This is not simple election interference. Laura, this is an attack on the entire united states. Where is hakeem jeffries? where is crying chuck schumer? where are the democrats? where's mainstream media? this is not a time for jokes. They are talking about our sacred institution of elections and our way of life, our democracy. President trump has come within eighth of an inch of his life for him not being here from a first assassination attempt. Fortunately we had a very responsive and well acting secret service agent keeping a second attempt from happening. We don't know how close this additional attempt could have been. The fact that kamala harris and joe biden are doing nothing and saying nothing is a disgrace. Laura: biden should really give an address to the nation on this, should he not? they are so worried about election interference. They spent years browbeating the nation about threats they said were engineered by donald trump himself all a lie. Now he has time to hang out with whoopi goldberg. It's insane. The view of all places. You have this active threat against president trump, who, again, is he not just some candidate. Is he a former and future president of the united states. And even some of these details that are coming out that we saw today, for example, the fact that the assassination attempt butler was the first had counter snipers. Laura: we're going to get to that in a minute. There is a cultural issue. President trump has said repeatedly how much he respects the brave men and women who are part of his detail with the secret service. But curly and structural that institution needs to be changed. I don't know why it hasn't been done already. This, again, this is an attack on all americans. The other thing, too. Is why are u. S. Taxpayers then paying to protect the president of iran who is in new york for youunga,u. N. General assembly. A threat from president trump from that same country. I don't understand what is going on. A lot of this goes back to afghanistan. As soon as these foreign leaders saw the disgraceful withdrawal from afghanistan. Biden and harris completely bunk gelgd then there was no sense of deterrence. Game on and our adversaries were after us and what we are seeing now is possibly one of the most sincere threats to our sovereignty than we have ever seen in our nation's history. Laura: jason, i will go into depth about the global elites galvanizing against trump and that's coming up soon on the show. But i would like the campaign's response to what the mayor of london and others have said. It essentially warning americans against reelecting donald trump. Your reaction tonight to that? yeah. I think they should mind their own business. The fact of the matter is when you have a strong american presidency, you have strong democracy all around the world. Other democracies wonder why they are being threatened, whether it be these terrorist actors, other bad actors all around the world. It's because when that presidency, when the person residing at 1600 pennsylvania, in washington, d. C. , is weak, and we don't have that sense of deterrence, bad things happen. I would say to the mayor of london, they check himself on this one, because he at some point is going to need president trump and america to have his back. We're going to be there. But let's have a little bit of respect here. Laura: all right, jason, thank you so much for joining us tonight. Now, it truly was a miracle, providential? yeah, that donald trump survive the butler field shootings in july. Given what jason just referenced that we're now learning here. Stunning failures on the part of the u. S. Secret service. A scathing bipartisan report just out detailing just how screwed up the secret service response was when thomas crooks managed to get off multiple shots directed at former president trump. Because now we're learning that no one at the storied government agency could be bothered to coordinate communications with local law enforcement. Or check nearby roofs or even have the most qualified and only the most qualified agents around trump at all times. Now, many of you wondering, going back to july, why president trump was allowed to stay on that stage to remain there, given the threat that they already knew was present? why was he even allowed to get on the stage in the first place? well, the report notes that shortly before shots were fired, a secret service counter sniper saw local law enforcement running toward the agr building with their guns drawn. But to him that elevated the threat level but he told the committee that they the thought to notify someone to get trump off the stage did not cross his mind. Yeah. And we knew there would be a wild story. We just knew this to explain why no drone was flown in time survey the surroundings. Apparently there were tech problems. And the drone was inoperable until just before the rally. The agent operating it had less than an hour of training and called a toll free 888tech support hotline was that geek squad, to start trouble shooting with the company which itself took several hours. You get the sense that this is just all one big babylon bee headline? dial 1888wearedumb. And as for the small issue of securing the roofs of nearby buildings. Secret service advance agents couldn't answer questions about who specifically was responsible for determining the perimeter and who approved the division on of the perimeter. The et secret service did not enter the agr building or go on the roof prior to the shooting. Why would you think about doing that? remember, the u. S. Secret service used to be part of the u. S. Treasury department. But, after 9/11, it was moved to the new mega bureaucracy inantly called the department of homeland security. It's really insecurity. We know what a great job they are doing with securing the border. So tonight i think it's obvious, this agency needs to be sent back to treasury, everyone has to be fired who is incompetent and they got to start over. This is not about money. They have billions. It's about common sense and accountability. Joining us now is richard star poly, former secret service agent to i, after you dying digested in report. You have been on this the first minute this report came out. What is the most outrageous of all the findings in this bipartisan report? actually two of them. The one that sets me on fire the most is this response from this counter sniper, right? this guy's job is to get up on a roof top, have some sort of aerial observation platform and when he deems it appropriate, he can fire at will. He doesn't require authorization from anyone. Yet, this is the same guy when he was asked what did he see? he said well i saw cops running across the field, guns drawn, pointed at the roof of the agr building they asked him why didn't you say anything? he said it never occurred to me. Right there speaks to the problem of the secret service. Total incompetence. Can anyone have any confidence in putting this guy with a gun back up on a roof to do his job? he is incapable of doing the job. And then let's talk about this drone, right? the key to any successful security plan is in your people. You don't not post somebody because you're going to rely on a mechanical or an electronic device. Redundancy is the key to a secure and safe security plan. Laura: richard, they did not have any plan or understanding of who was responsible for determining the perimeter? it is i'm saying this again. I said earlier. It is a miracle that trump survived this assassination attempt given the shear incompetence and, look, a lot of people are still have their theories about this. But the shear incompetence. One by one by one, these facts are it's only how can this actually be? we are the united states of america. We have the most sophisticated technology in the world. And i mean, this does look like the keystone cops here. I know there are a lot of great agents and president trump has heralded their bravery. But this isn't great. There is nothing about this that is great. There is nothing even remotely good about this. This event should never have happened. But this went on how many times in the last year, two years, with this level of incompetence it. Just so happened this kid picked butler to fire those shots, right? what should you do with this report? s if i was them i would take this report and bind it in leather and distribute it to every freshman business class and every university in the country. This is a thesis on how to run an organization into the ground and how incompetence can permeate an organization and destroy it. This is unrecoverable. Unacceptable what went on here. Laura: i would say this is the federal government. For all you people watching tonight oh kamala will protect the government and protect the government. Nope. Laura: this is classic break crazy, okay. It needs to be stream lined and the swamp needs to be drained all the way to the secret service. Thank you. Thank you. I'm here into waukesha, wisconsin. The people waiting for me outside on stage, they don't care about what zelenskyy has to say about who they should vote for. They understand that this is about we, the people, versus the managerial class. This is one of those elections where it's not really about traditional republicans vs. Democrats. Yet, do you see a global establishment, almost goading on the furtherance of that war in a way that doesn't advance american interest. The climate change agenda is the same thing it.
