First, the big debate is tomorrow night in philly, as new polls show donald trump regaining ground against harris, and favorites would make by the polling group nate silver. Multiple polls bringing lots of sad news for vice president joy. As things stand today, she is losing perk on that later. As far as the debate prep goes, one could argue that trump has been getting ready for this for what, nine years or so? since 2015, really. On mike harris, he has a record to run on, not run from. What is kamala's vibe today? are you ready to be donald trump? yes. Best part of the debate? be at this store. Like everything else with kamala, this aura of confidence is a lie. Or team is panicked. Apparently they don't want her to have a repeat of her catastrophic 2020 democratic primary debate performances which of course ultimately helped sink her candidacy. On friday, politico reported that her advisors were scrambling to rewrite their playbook after the rules to mute the mike's were finalized, saying she's handcuffed by the rules. One democratic strategist warning she could get thrown off and they are preparing for that possibility. But, now we know why kamala fought so hard to change the debate rules, and it's not as she claimed that trump and his team was worried that he could not control himself. Of course he can. He showed he could do it in the biden debate. It's because kamala harris needs her verbal. When her little caboose of thought goes off the rails. Mr. Vice president, i'm speaking. I'm speaking. Mr. Vice president, and spe speaking. Mr. Vice president, i'm spe speaking. If she somehow still manages to pull that tomorrow, which would be hard to do excuse me, and speaking appeared trump should look at her and say congratulations, or speaking is fine, lying is not. For a woman supposedly so confident, so experienced, she sure seems to need a lot of debate prep, bells, whistles. Will tell you about them later in the show, but none of this ends up helping her in the end. The premise of her campaign is illogical. It makes no sense. Unless of course you think the woman who drove your car into a ravine should give your kid driving lessons. What is the one thing that you really want to get across to him? there is a lot. It's time to turn the page on the divisiveness. It's time to bring our country together, charts a new way forward. That's deep. If the moderator asks trump is there anything view and vice president harris can agree on tonight? trump could answer in the following way. As a matter fact there is. We agree we should turn the page on the biden/harris administration, but because she can't turn the page on herself, i will do it. For harris who struggles to articulate actual policy. Tomorrow night, she will resort to trafficking in the usual smears that did not work or biden. She will lie that trump encouraged violence on jan january 6th when he said go in peace. She will lie about charlottesville and what he said about veterans despite repeated fact checks. She's going to lie about how the illegal cases against donald trump are fair, and show that he is on trustworthy, when we know that they never would have gone after him if he had retired from politics. She's going to of course lie about her record on the economy and claim that she has created all these jobs when most of course are bound by jobs from covid or of course they went to foreign workers. She is going to lie veterans policies will cause more inflation, when we know he's going to bring down the cost of energy, which will bring down inflation. She's going to lie that she's tough on crime when we know that the migrant crime explosion is destroying our neighborhoods. She will lie that the immigration bill that was engineered by schumer and others and that trump killed it for political reasons. She will lie that she is the candidate for change when she is just another puppet of the failed establishments. All trump needs to do is keep his cool and talk about his plans to rebuild the country and enforce the border, and remind people as ronald reagan said that our freedom is always just one generation away from extinction. At the end of the debate if he plays his cards right, she will look petty and ineffective and small, and he will look determined, like a seasoned leader who puts america first. What is your prediction for tomorrow night, given the soft sell interview she did? the univision radio interview she did where she is literally flipping pages during the interview, and all of her spice girl talk of the last few days? well, we may have some clues about it from this fight they've had over microphones. Remember when the microphone fight first came into the public, people thought it was because of the prospect of donald trump interrupting kamala harris so much. But now, we have learned that it was actually about the idea or a plan for kamala harris to interrupt donald trump. If you look at her, some of her promotional videos, listen to her staff, the one thing they talk about with her all the time as she is a prosecutor, a tough prosecutor. They love video of when she was on the senate judiciary committee. Giving brett kavanaugh a hard time, went after jeff sessions. I think she sees herself as playing the tough prosecutor and having some sort of courtroom drama moment in the debate. Of course, it's trump's job to be able to handle that and do exactly what you just said which is just focus on the important issues. A new study finds that of the three big evening newscasts, abc's world news tonight run by the debate moderator david mir has been the most positive toward harris and the most hostile to trump. The study found that the coverage was 100% positive toward kamala harris and 93% negative toward trump. Wow. And it's a shock that the media have lost its credibility. Kudos. It's hard to hit 100%. On the performance front, i think kamala harris in that clip you showed made me more nervous for her going into this. She is not comfortable in her own skin. She is not confident on that stage. I think trump sometimes has an opposite problem where he is too confident, comfortable with himself on stage and let that get in his way. To the point about media, there is so much he can anticipate, that trump can anticipate as being biased, that he can anticipate them not holding her to account so that he has to hold her to account instead. She has had a vibes campaign and wants a vibes database. Debates can be about moments. There can be a moment where you break through but that usually comes from some fluid to tea and quickness on your feet, most of which she does not have, but trump does. Holding her to account on the facts of her record is going to matter. It needs to come from trump. I think the new york times paul mike this week shows that when it comes to making herself a change candidate, voters aren't buying that. Trump can drill down on that. Another thing that has not worked for harris, and the angle predicted it would not work, given the state of the economy, the border, is this idea that trump is the enemy of democracy, but there is never going to be another election. People have literally said that on television, there will never be another election if he wins. That hasn't worked. People are not buying that. Does she abandon it altogether tomorrow night? speak i think she probably does. Delete great biden campaign for modern man who was running that campaign, january 6th, the future democracy, joe biden in his own way was mentioning that all the time. May see the end of american democracy. harris pretty much dropped to that immediately in favor of the vibes campaign. Will she bring it back? i don't know. It's much more likely that she will bring up trump's legal problems, prosecutions, guilty verdict he got in new york, and see if she can get under his skin. You talk about her getting under his skin or trying to, i think that is her big strategy. I have a feeling trump is ready for this, but we will see. Bernie sanders. Mary catherine might have been a little bit too truthful on their flipflopping on policy. She has previously supported medicare for all now. She does not she has previously supported she does not. These are things you have campaigned on. Abandoning her progressive ideals. I don't think she is abandoning her ideals. I think she's doing what she thinks is right to would make the election. There is an election to win. I have to thank bernie for his frankness. I think it is something voters should keep in mind, something trump should hammer. None of the proposals have come from her own mouth. I'm not sure any of them have been named come from the campaign. In some cases, they will commit heinous crimes. By the way, kamala harris knows that a disproportionate share of the victims of this heinous open border will be women. She does not care.
