♪ ♪ >> we begin with a frightened new report today revealing hundreds of illegal immigrants have crossed the border into the united states and they are being smuggled in by an ice is linked human smuggling network. 50 of them are somewhere in our country. no one knows exactly where they are. no one knows exactly where they are. no one knows exactly if they will ever be found. in about 90 minutes, at home and security secretary alejandro mayorkas is set to hold a news conference to brag about president biden's for the accomplishments. it is mind-boggling. they think we are not's. i am harris faulkner. it is "outnumbered" time and michael holmes are here, emily compagno and kandace in any also joining us, from fox business, shell, sony former congressman and can they lee zeldin. it is new and is unsettling. nbc reports that the department of homeland security is now searching for 50 of those illegal border crossers. and we know that they were released into the united states when they reached the border because they were not on the government's terrorist watch list. according to the nbc report, they were among a group of more than 400 people that the dhs had actually identified as "subjects of concern" because they were brought in to our nation by an isis link smuggling network. some of them who were arrested reportedly have been removed from the country. we need a number on that. we need details but we need to know who these people were but we want to know more about that isis smuggling group. you think mayorkas with talk about that when he speaks in a little while. don't hold your breath. the remaining of the group have been found in some places across 17 states in the united states and we are told they could soon be arrested. the heightened tensions over a potential care network come as the number of suspected terrorists reaching the united states borders has. >> and ex financially and i say what is plural because we never really talked about the northern border but we should. all of this is happening under the biden administration. the biden border crisis is is now the biden porter disaster. homeland security secretary mayorkas is standing behind biden's policies. >> he is indeed moving in the right direction. our policy is working. our policies are working. we are conducting more removal flights than ever before. we are moving people through the system and those who do not qualify are being removed or returned more rapidly. >> harris: you know who is not being removed? mayorkas. it is harder by the day to figure out how they could not kick him after he got impeached with a vote. for the senate has to decide whether or not he loses his job and he still has it. >> yeah, what a failure. what a failure when you look at the numbers that has costis logan porter including gotaways, it is over 5 million. and that. and that is to the southwest border. the number is higher. what is appalling to me, you know, do we in a, do we have a trading system? look at that image pretty we have any sort of vetting image? now we have migrants who are apparently linked to isis that we are now looking for but here is the cherry on top of all of that, the data that i shared with you. a white house memo that they put out from andrew bates to allies and interested parties, they said that biden took decisive executive action and as a re result, unlawful order encounters at lunch but they are bragging about what they have what they have done and we triggered the new york times, they say that biden plans to go on the offensive on immigration on the debate. how do you go on offense when women have been killed? lincoln riley, you plan to go on offense, no, sir. run far away from this issue. >> looked at the last hour, the former acting ice director under trump was with me and i was almost in tears by the end because he was telling us things about what those last 30 minutes would have been like for those american victims, those women and young girls. the point is terror he said and so they make the last few minutes hell. and we know they recorded some of it. what do you think they do with those figures? it sounds like rick rubin. >> this is not the last of it. it is going to keep happening and we're not talking about what has happened since january of 2024 where talk about what has happened over the course of the last two weeks. 12-year-olds, 30 euros here from coast to coast, new york city to l.a., atlanta, and elsewhere, mothers who are getting raped and killed and they are going to mobilize and to the gang activity. we saw how m.s. 13 was building up. president schubert came in and really tackled it in 2017. these groups are going to continue to engage in activities that have led to ulcers of other crimes that are getting committed. now, who is going to fact-checked what is coming out of the white house right now, actually look at the inspector general of the dhs saying that there is not sufficient vetting and screen that is going on right now. that is their own inspector general. and you need to know at the border, who someone is, that they believe in what they say baylee -- they believe and that is done through documentation and vetting and interrogation. and if you don't have enough documentation, that means that your interrogation has to be more intense, has to be more thorough. but you can't do is say, okay, we don't have enough documentation. we can to enhance interrogation so we can confirm any of the stuff. so we will just figure it out later. it is a flawed security process that even the inspector general has called out. >> harris: cheryl? >> the warning signs have been flashing for months about this. going back to the issue with isis. and christopher wright himself has testified he is concerned about it. who is coming to this country and what are their intentions? we just heard from mike morell. he wrote that op-ed, remember, in foreign affairs. here is what he said. and is not difficult to imagine a person even a group with the intensity to harm slipping across a border where they supported two and a half million encounters and then purchasing assault rifles, carrying out a large massacre. there is no shortage of location where hundreds if not thousands of people gathered on a regular basis and all may be ready targets for those seeking to incite terror. and he goes on to say that when someone makes a serious threat within our borders, because of what is happening at the southern border. is isis making one of this? yes. isis-k is also making off of -- making money off of the drug trade in afghanistan. where are these people now? can't find them. and we have had too many warning signs and it is going to continue. >> harris: so emily, tom homan shared with me how he gets to seven to 8,000 people coming across the border a day. and he called it a shell game that the u.s. government is now playing under biden's most recent executive actions and orders. and what he says is they are now legally allowing some people who would normally go between the check points and sneak in to qualify as counted among those who are not illegal. so they are processing them differently and that is how they are able to say, we did not pick up 20,000 people, which is biden's number, because not that many illegals were coming. but if you change somebody's status, you don't really know who is coming. >> emily: we saw them playing a similar shell game with the unaccompanied minors where they put them under different agencies. so they were able to say, we just have five because there's 350 this next agency of the chain -- up the chain. this is frightening. we cannot overstate the implications and the risk associated with these lost individuals associated with isis. isis. one of the most prolific dangerous and wantonly cruel terrorist organizations in the world for the international criminal court which this administration likes to support. there -- their main prosecutor called them crimes of unspeakable cruelty, trend eight slavery, torture, mutilation, the list goes on and the direct threat and the direct implementation those invocations to americans, it is frightening. keep in mind you talked about the northern border earlier. just in december we reported that 85% of those nabbed that were on the terror watch list were on the canadian border. we have been shouting it from the rooftops this entire time. so yes, the entire global intelligence and national security community has been raising alarm bells quite clearly for some time. it is the white house. and this administration, that refuses to look americans in the eye and say, is, under our watch, your lives are now threatened and now isis, i can't imagine anything worse. >> harris: so we have got it it is huge cnn presidential debate that will be simulcast on fox. emily, do you honestly think that jake tapper and dana bash are going to up to speed? >> i know it is a crazy thought. there are people watching who have not made up their mind up. >> oh, yes. >> and whether you are present report president biden, you are showing up. you have to keep these motors in mind. there are republicans and independents and democrats out there across american -- america including a set of swing states who want to know who is going to do a better job securing the border and tackling the economy and crime. the top issues for americans including those voters are those. basically economy, crime, border, and i hope that there's an actual substantive discussion on it and when the questions get asked to present truck has a record to talk about of what he did to secure the border during his term. president biden came into office top priority, starting on day one and starts eroding these policies and now last segment we were talked about what is going on the border and people come into the country. on the biden side and the white house's side, they are trying to get through the november election. the rest of america wants to no, how are you going to permanently solve the problem? and that is issue after it back this issue for biden and the white house. they are trying to get through an election. in one of these problems actually tackled and fixed. and i think that both will show up alert. both will show up serious and a lot of americans will be tuning in to make their mind up. it is a big opportunity for presidential. >> emily: kayleigh, you perfect the former president. can you share what that was like? >> kayleigh: yeah, it was a fascinating time. i was a part of the secondary preparation. and we learned a lot from the first debate preparations. jason miller said it is very important. how do you take off when you are the leader of the free world? preston cook never did that. his first debate, he had these small prep sessions. but then we learn that is not the best way to prepped former president trump. you have to learn to adapt to your prospect is one of your biggest jobs in the white house. what we learned. and trim, he has great recall. he knows the status. he knows the facts because he is the one in charge. we don't need to tell him things. he knows what to do. what we could provide, how we could be value added is giving him pivot points. we know that moderators are going to be biased in this case for sure. so i created six pages called "debate game changers" that have offense only. and we put if they put you on defense, president trump, here's the one line that would allow you to pivot into office. he did a brilliant job and that second debate, he hands down won the debate. but it was all him. we let trump be trump. he had the facts. >> what do you make of this? >> i was looking at what the "wall street journal" editorial board has put out and they said there's two things, watershed moments for president trump. the debate on cnn but then also his pick for vice president. going back to the debate, whether they predict and they want him in the op-ed, they are warning him against grievance politics and that biden is going to try to go to him on january 6 and a stolen election. that is what the "journal" says. back to the audience, you are absolutely right. what are you going to do for me in the next four years? are we going to go backwards? are we going to go forward? how are you going to deal with geopolitical issues? and i think that in particular, if it does come to the border, former president trump is going to have a very strong argument. but we shall see. >> and harris made the great putt that even if that moderators focus on those things, americans care so much more about their wallace right now and their safety and their security. even if they are asked about it, the americans will be craving the answers to those policies they care about it. -- about picker-upper i want to go back to something you said that i think is particularly salient. it will be the same effects on fox but it is the idea of the person reaching out to people who have made up their mind. it is potentially true that that group has grown a bit because of the things like crime and the biden border crisis, so on and so forth and in the groups specifically of the suburban women. if they now are feeling less safe than they were not even let's just say six weeks ago, you may have some pinch-hitters that he did not count on note that have said previously we don't want to vote for donald trump because he was hurting a little bit and suburban women -- in a suburban women. he has an opportunity to reach them through the issue of "but you were safer when i was present." russia did not invade a neighbor when i was president. so, i mean, you could say a whole host of things to reach those suburban women and go at it with safety and then you could do with money. 1.4, joe. where is your real inflation number that i handed to you?
