>> harris: part of the issue here is what is not being said. as ryan just told us, he covered everything we are being told not to believe our own eyes. we have been told that for years with joe biden. this is a new chapter of that. what we covered last hour had to do with what didn't get said. you could have a press secretary with the quickness of mind i want to thank the prime minister for working with our president of the united states to focus in on where the other leaders were. even though there were other people behind him that were also landing. she did us a solid. can you imagine if he kept walking? this year's bill includes language that may require american women to register for the draft. women have never had to register before. some republicans are not happy like missouri senator josh ali sanko i'm not voting for any defense bill that forces my daughter to register for the draft sanko i'm notn voting for any chip roy adding, over my dead body. you are in the navy reserve. i want to know your thoughts sanko i'm notn voting for any >> morgan: this is not in the one from the department of defense. i think women should volunteer as i did. i do not think that women should register for the draft. i agree with both members that you just quoted. we do have some historic challenges that our military is facing right now. historic recruitment crisis. tension problems. a war with china and multiple theaters. that is what the dod should be focused on. this provision has been in the nda before in the past. we have seen some positive things and their reserve since 2005. we've had an increase of 4.4%. no one hired me for my brawns. but for my brains. i would add, there is this outdated notion. women can't be on the front lines. if you are in a ship in the south china sea or the pacific, as men and women on the ship. that is the front line. we have seen in over the last 20 years as well. ladies, doing volunteer. >> kayleigh: the american public agreed with you. in 2016, 63% agreed with women being part of the draft. now it is 45%. >> emily: i see the recruitment crisis. my heart is broken. under the last culture of the last few years, there's been a decrease in fostering national pride. i think absolutely, every young person should do some type of civic volunteering. i love the idea of signing everyone to help this country. it starts with a pride in our country and flag and military so that these young people want to do it voluntarily with the passions that they cultivate and certainly, it doesn't start with lowering standards and physicality and although like and forcing people to do something. i think we start from the top down. >> kayleigh: retired u.s. navy captain told "the daily beast," registering for selective service doesn't mean someone's daughter would end up with the trenches. >> harris: i am right where emily is on this issue. the idea that the person who holds the title right now commander-in-chief needs do take that pulpit and sell it. sell the concept of what it means to love this country and do anything that you would patriotically to help her. whether that is in service. coming from a military family, everybody on base had this idea of all hands on deck if something is going on whether it is a social event on base. we are in it together. we still only make up 1% of the population that military families. let's get more people involved in moving forward as a unified country. women were using their panty hose to make things. we were all in it together. that takes a commander in chief that does respect and love the military and don't look at your watch in the tarmac in afghanistan after 13 u.s. service people have been killed. >> morgan: because the military is predominately male, the women like her mother and the women that are keeping the home front burning and raising children and the men who do this when the wives are away. the children the spouses don't forget that it is their service as well. any time someone thanks me for my service, you have to thank my family and my husband. he is alone with our child. i thank you for letting me jump in. it is so important to remember that you don't have to be in uniform to be serving. the spouses are doing just as much to l. >> brian: it is an organizational thing. you understand the regions and the background and marital status. it's organizational. we would have to have a world war for this to be considered. we have seen 4 or 5 wars with no draft of men or women. i would say so many people get out of college and say i don't know what i want to do. if there were two years where everyone knew where you had to be drafted, everyone knew. peace corps or volunteer year. there's a bunch of things to volunteer for. i want to do mine before college or after. i'm not going to go to college at all. you meet a ton of people in different regions you never saw before in an environment where you are not traveling and going on vacation as a kid. you expose yourself. you are probably better on the other side. my daughters are athletes. i would see there is no difference if they went to those camps, boot camp as opposed to it would be a lot harder. i don't think they would have any problem with it. >> harris: i think we made a recruitment tape for patriotism. >> kayleigh: men and women who serve every day and spouses. billionaire mark cuban says he won't vote for anyone that is not focused on climate change. not focused on climate change. jets?oes he have several private credit card rates lately?
