joining us. you thought it was over but not. a potentially huge development in trump's new york trial but, first, they can't stop him. that's the focus of tonight's angle. >> laura: five months from election day and the list of democrat failures continues to grow by the day. now, it's friday, let's have some fun and quickly categorize them in chronological order. first, the biden team and their press homeys thought they could use jan 6 to intimidate trump supporters and scare away all the independents. >> history is watching, just like history watched three years ago on january 6th. whether insurrectionists stormed this very capitol and placed a dagger in the throws democracy. >> laura: dagger. trump left office on january 20th if you can't remember. insurrection u.s. government without weapons? okay. well, of course, democrats using jan 6th thought a second impeachment trial would do him in. according to the reuters ipsos poll, fewer one in five said they watched multiple hours of the testimony, most 55% have seen just clips or no excerpts at all. whoops? then, there were the efforts to remove trump from the ballot. well, we know where that all ended up. overturned by the supremes. biden's great defenders of democracy were goose egged 9-0. and trump, he only grew more powerful. of course, they also ended up unleashing a barrage of indictments and civil suits, lawfare. spending tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money in cases in georgia, d.c., new york, that they thought would help biden. because trump would be seen as a bad guy, a crook, and that he would just end up bleeding support. >> he is facing multiple charges, multiple indictments, and they still expect to get at least another indictment, possibly two. >> every time there are more charges, every time there is another indictment. his poll numbers go up as does his fundraising. >> laura: while jack, fanny and biden and the rest of the chip monks were doing their dirty work. inflation stay to do high and as americans struggled to pay for gas, food, and just basic necessities, they saw waves of migrants stream across our southern border, wrecking our cities, eating up our resources and committing crimes. >> when you receive immigrants, you have to check them. you have to know who are there. how are you going to receive people that you don't know who are there no idea. >> the white house didn't care. they had new democrat voters to import. the polls kept sliding for biden. but they really thought -- they really thought a guilty verdict in that hush money case that, would do the trick. >> he believes that they will recommend a one year term in prison. and this is because when you spend a year in prison in new york or under you serve in rikers island. okay? >> >> he absolutely deserves jail time because he is an ongoing threat to society and to our community. >> laura: what a dope. one problem, biden's polls are still terrible. and trump is still strong. in the more desperate the democrats are it turns out the dumber their ideas are getting. now, someone probably in the biden campaign believes that if they could get the press on board, americans would watch and listen to joe biden in normandy and think wow, he's really reaganesque. and today's unintentionally hilarious headline is from political playbook. biden storms the beach for democracy. wait, biden storms? well, sort of. because, with him, it's the forecast is more likely to be mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon confusion. by sending biden to normandy, the only thing they convinced americans of was that he should be at home watching jeopardy with a warm blanket across his lap. preferably a plaid one. the bottom line is their attacks, biden pivots and rebranding. none of it has worked. the polls are simply mind-blowing and arizona and nevada trump suspect by 5. but most shocking of all is virginia. a state that biden won by 10 points, which is now tied 48-48. come on, virginia, save yourself. the once credible democrat party, i'm telling you they deserve everything they are getting here. remember, they conc cret ceded e and now they are all sinking. how moronic to think that a campaign to destroy trump would some how make bad policies that produce bad results popular? before he died, radio legend and my friend rush limbaugh predicted much of this. >> i know they desperately want trump gone. and i know that they desperately want it codified that trump cannot run again because, make no mistake, they remain scared to death of you and they remain scared to death of trump. no matter what they've tried, they can't separate you from trump. and, more importantly, they can't separate you from the ideas. they can't separate you from maga. they can't separate you from make america great again. >> laura: god, we miss him. and sure enough, trump is crushing fundraising goals, raking in nearly $300 million in may from over 2 million donations. and there are even signs of life in liberal la la land. silicon valley investor david sacks hosted a fundraiser last night in san francisco, pelosi and gavin newsom's home. that's progress. and that's the angle. joining me now is david sacks, craft venture co-founder co-host of the all-in podcast. david, now, it's pretty in your face to host trump in one of the bluest cities in the united states. and this was the scene outside ever the fundraiser, only a smat terring of anti-trump protesters. what was the turnout like inside? the turnout was amazing, laura. we originally tried to raise $5 million for president trump and reended up raising 12 million we had something like 100 people there. every seat was taken. we couldn't fit one more person in the house. sold out. protesters outside were pro-trump demonstrators, hundreds of people who turned out along the motorcade for trump to basically wave signs in favor of him. the number of people actually protesting against trump, there was maybe, you know, a couple of dozen. >> laura: three. >> versus hundreds of people pro-trump. even out on the streets a tremendous enthusiasm gap. if that is happening in san francisco. what does that tell you is happening across the country? >> laura: what docile con valley. i know we are silicon valley. what do they hope for in exchange for their support? >> honestly, it's not that transactional, laura. it's not like there is some overt quid pro quo. most of these people just really love america and they want to see america doing better. now, in terms of what the industry cares about, the industry wants to be able to innovate. and the biden administration has been very hostile towards innovation. it's been extremely hostile towards the crypto industry. it's already trying to overregulate ai. it's basically put the kibosh on any mma. i do think that the industry would like to have more pro-innovation policies coming out of washington. and this does lead to support for president trump. but, again, it's not anything transactional. it really is about having a better administration in washington. >> laura: what message does what happened last night -- i know he was in l.a. did. a west coast swing. what message does this have -- is it sending to other heavy hitters and you and i know them. maybe nikki haley fans. uncomfortable with trump. does this bring them over or make them more likely to support him? >> i think so. i think this is going to melt the ice. i mean, look, i know there is a lot of people out there who are already trump supporters. they are just afraid to stick their necks out. that's the reality of the situation. because they are afraid of getting ostracized. afraid of cancel culture, they are afraid of punishment. the biden administration likes political prosecutions and political investigations. so people have reasons to be nervous about especially support trump but each incremental person who sticks their neck out and endorses trump, it makes the rest of them feel more comfortable doing it. and you are seeing, i think, a cascade starting to happen now where more and more people are going to come out for trump. >> laura: and to that point, david, i have been urging them not to just fund raise in california but to do a rally in california. i would think the central valley would get a little outside, you know, the san francisco or imperial valley. get into an area where there are more working class people. i think people need to hear this message beyond just the traditional states. and i think even if it, you know, even can't win california yet, i think it helps the entire party apparatus to see him there. >> yeah. absolutely. trump has immense support among blue collar workers, middle class workers throughout california as he does throughout the whole country. there is absolutely a receptive audience for trump. we saw that even in san francisco. again, the enthusiasm for trump was tremendous. it was really a love fest. we were sold out. and the protesters that couldn't really amount to anything, even though the liberal publications had been sort of egging him on to come out all week and nothing materialized. there is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for trump in california. >> laura: what are they theerg for at this point? more decline in san francisco? i mean, it makes no sense. is he your only hope at this point. david, great to see you tonight. thanks for coming on. >> laura: take trump off the ballot. put him in jail. now, just forget actual reporting. >> we need slanted conch, more slanted conch. we got to recognize the threat that this guy in the maga -- not just him, the entire maga movement from alito and trump on down it's a serious, it's a clear, serious and present danger to the existence of the constitution in the united states and i mean that. >> laura: the democrats don't even believe in the constitution, james. nice try though. the new york congressional candidate is insisting on a maga deprogramming project. >> even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we have gone through the maga nightmare and reeducating, basically, which that sounds like a rather, ha ha, a reeducation camp. i don't think we really want to call it that. i'm sure we can find another way to phrase it. >> laura: this is why these people love china. we already have reeducation camps. they are called the public schools. joining me now vivek ramaswamy, former g.o.p. presidential candidate. vivek, that really does say it all. slanted conch and reeducation camps. that's it. >> this is orwellian. the best part of this, laura, they don't make it guessing. a guessing game as to what they are actually doing. control the media and every other institution. reeducate the masses and then she catches her mistake. says that's not exactly what we want to call it, which is the orwellian move at the end of this. the good news the american people are seeing through. this fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. americans understand that. they have been lied to systematically on the eve of the last election from everything about the origin of covid-19 during that to the hunter biden laptop story suppressed on the eve of the 2020 election. people are seeing through the lies they have been told. i don't think those tricks are going to quite work the same way this time around which is good news for us. >> laura: and i mentioned, you know, the attempt to make biden arrestreaganesque. i scream laughing when i hear that having worked in the administration. biden spent the day groveling to zelenskyy and spending another $100 billion under the bus. watch. this i apologize for the -- the weeks of -- not knowing -- in terms of funding because we had trouble getting the bill that we had to pass -- had the money in it, from some of our very conservative members who were holding it up. >> laura: vivek, he acts like our money and the money they print and borrow belongs to zelenskyy. >> that's right. i mean he is bowing to a new kind of idol. if he wants to represent reagan. peace through strength and not frailties and weakness what biden is exhibiting today. the reality is we are forking over more money to ukraine than we have accounting for how it's been spent in the first place. i think the apology, with all due respect, laura, needs to be running in the other direction to say we apologize for not being able to tell you how your first $100 billion was spent. instead a u.s. president on his knees. this is the problem with the american culture under the leadership of biden and the democrats is that we are taught to apologize for who we are, both at home and on the global stage. to flog ourselves for actually helping the other countries we are helping. enough of that we are done with this culture of apologyism. we need to revive that sense of american exceptionalism that the actual ronald reagan stood for and i think donald trump stands for unapologetically today. a lot of people are hungry for it. we are done apologizing for our identity for engaging in this self-loathing that phase and that cloud is slowly passing across the country, laura, and americans are actually hungry for being proud of who we are again. certainly count me n that camp. >> laura: well, i think that when you listen really carefully to biden and unfortunately we all had to listen to him overseas. sure sounds like they are getting ready for war with russia. it sounds like it's -- rallying everyone not to defend ukraine but to go on an offensive push inside russia to defeat putin and i guess do regime change. and if that's what they are planning, they better tell the voters now before election day it. certainly sounds like this is where they are headed. >> well, victoria nuland may not be in the building anymore. that's still the same spirit that pervades the current state department and beyond. this is part of the reason, laura, why you have never heard articulated what exactly is a goal of this war in the first place? there has not been a war goal that's been a articulated in pat because it allows the people pulling the strings account for regime change. be careful what you wish for. if you are actually going to rout for regime. do you think better than you have right now. we played this game before it. does end well. this road does not end in a place that advances american interest. i think a reasonable deal to bring this to resolution is the right way to go. and sadly, when i said that a year ago, people thought that was controversial, unfortunately the facts have vindicated that view in the meantime. we have no clear answer what the next $100 billion is going to do. i think you are right, laura, smoking out a more subversive intention here we need to step to the side of. >> laura: reagan was peace through strength they are war through weakness. vivek, thank you very much. team biden says they had a really hot jobs report. but who is really getting hired? >> so they have to be shocked that the american voter still is concerned about the economy as the number one issue and inflation as the number one issue if these numbers were so good. to your point, laura, these are part time jobs being created that are going to foreign born legal or illegal workers. the american workers are losing jobs and in a household survey you mentioned this as well. there has been a loss of 408,000 jobs. so there are less jobs out there. but more people working two jobs, which is why in virginia, the race is tied at 48-48 between donald trump and joe biden and why donald trump is winning or improving his numbers with hispanics, blacks, and young americans under the age of 30, because these are the issues they care about. they are not getting the jobs and they can't buy homes because of joe biden's stupid spending and high interest rates and inflation. >> laura: now, ben, biden's chief economic adviser was on fox today touting the strength of this labor market. watch. >> we know we have one of the most persistently strong labor markets this country has ever seen. not only is this labor market continually offering up large numbers of good jobs working americans. we are also seeing wages beat prices. >> laura: ben, wages are beating prices? i don't know a single american who feels that way tonight. do you? >> ben: i can't -- i can't believe you want me to respond to someone as stupid as jared bernstein. you're cruel to me, laura. i'm sorry. but, look, one of the things that i think we should actually appreciate about this is that some -- the thing that we should understand is that a lot of this is happening by design. if you look back at may of last year to today you have 2.8 million, 2.6 million, somewhere that range jobs cr created 1 poison 1 million of those jobs are in health services, social services of. you know, another 400 plus thousand to 600,000 of them are government jobs. what does that mean? it means that they are directly or indirectly funded by the taxpayer essentially bias joe biden doesn't know how to create a thriving economy people get good jobs he is instead using your money to hire a bunch of people. making them both dependent on taxpayer funds and equivalently dependent on the democratic party, which is going to flow all of that money to their jobs, keep them employed, et cetera. and that's something that is happening by design they want to dramatically increase the number of people dependent on taxpayer funding for their jobs. that is not by accident that is intentional. >> laura: this has all been intentional. judge merchan from trump's hush money trial sent a letter to both the prosecution and defense notifying them about a comment facebook page apparently that is from the day before the verdict. trump is getting convicted. thank you, folks for all your hard work. now, sean, we have not confirmed left that comment but any thoughts? >> well, i think honestly, it shows that more and more republicans are representing views of the majority and sometimes it takes situations like this to bring that out. i was flabbergasted sitting on the council. we did not anticipate it to go in this direction at all. and honestly, what was cited was extreme in my opinion. so, it was very unfortunate, especially in a time of the entire state was mourning the loss of trooper first class aaron palantir. >> i know the area very well. connecticut is a quirky political state. but it was always very pro-police, first responders. >> yes. >> laura: you know, honoring their service. and this democrat party has gotten so volume liberationed up. social media says what that's been flown since 2017 honoring fallen answers and those are injured and that's a threat but the pride flag gets to be flown at half mass? >> i do, yes. at first you need to know that at this stage of their life, they are very small. so think of a grain of rice with some legs. so i have one right here in this little jar and it is so small you can barely see it. >> that's not very dramatic. >> but i have a container here and i can set it up on my microscope behind us and you can see it. there it is. and so you can see that it looks like a little tiny spider right now, it is very small, the size of a grain of rice. at the end of the summer they will be spider sized, that's when everyone starts to see them for real. >> laura: do they fall off trees or is that just an urban legend? do they jump off trees, to the jumpoff bushes? where are they jumping? >> not really. they are quite sedentary just like any other spider they will set up a web and will be in that web for three or four months and you can walk by them and they will not bother you if you do not bother them. if you walk through the web, you will get a face full of web. then there will be some yelling. >> laura: but when they land on you, which every time i walk in the woods with my dogs, and i do that a lot, i seem to walk through these webs. it seems to always happen to me. and ice cream, "course as i tried to throw the web off. but if the spider and's up your person, will invite you? orilla just crawl on you? oh, my god, i want to die. >> it might. you would have to really tussled with a lot for it to bite you because really, they are quite shy is a spider. i have tested that in my lab. from what i have heard, thereby is kind of like a bee sting. so it will not kill you, you won't like it but most of the time if you just leave them alone, they will be fine. >> jesse: >> laura: you are reassuring, thank you,. >> great to see you, thank you. it was a very emotional day for my family. my oldest and only daughter, maria caroline graduated high school today, can you believe it?
