from washington tonight. ready to throw down. we have details on the biden interview gone horribly awry and defending law fare against trump. and tonight, is this cop or is he a pull dozer? hmm. r? [siren] >> l an oklahoma police officer defying laws of physics to catch a fleeing suspect. tonight jimmy failla has details on the video and more. biden's border head fake, focus of tonight's angle. this is joe biden's border legacy in three names. david calderon, illegal freed from el salvador and crossed into the united states, now accused of murdering a woman in west virginia. the victim's body was burned almost beyond recognition. he allegedly attacked two homeless mpel with a baseball bat. he has a criminal history in his home country. and marvin perez lopez came from guatemala and has immigration court date in 2027, he grabbed an 11-year-old girl off the street and forced her into his van where he raped her and do not forget about jose antonio ibarra, who attacked and raped laken riley. he pleaded not guilty just days ago. we will never know the name of thousands of illegals who are kept secret by the biden administration after they were arrested or the chinese nationals arrested trying to breach military bases or the jordanian names trying to get into quantico. national security concerns, billions it is costing taxpayers has driven this to the top of concerns. trump's approach to the border and his mas deportation plans resonate with voters. wow. remember the oeld liberal line, you want to round up millions and deport them? americans blame biden, as they should. hispanic americans here legally are just as traumatized as other americans. >> in el paso, it has become a huge problem. we've had break-ins. i've been here 30 years, i've lived here, this is not something we've had to worry about. hey, we have to make sure everything is locked up or make sure when you are walking around in the dark, be careful, you just don't know anymore. it is scary. >> laura: you bet it is scary. voters are angry and blame the guy who opened spigget for dozens of countries and gave corrupt foreign leaders a gift, emptying their prisons and insane asylums. this endangered americans or overwhelmed system, schools, healthcare, that did not matter to biden. their sole goal was to change this country. remember, the country they consider systemically racist and wicked, they flooded america with what they hope are future democratic voters to create a permanent majority. what will that do? render your vote meaningless. democrats, every single one who is honest, they want illegals to vote as soon as possible. yeah, that is coming, that is the plan. thus nothing biden said today about the border matters, it is all smoke and mirrors. it is an election year. biden has no intention stopping asilees from gaming the system. give his speech writers credit, they are trying to your honor it the table on republicans. hir l hilarious. >> president biden: i've come here today to take necessary steps to secure our border. using executive authority available to me as president to do what i can on my own to address the border. >> laura: what? he couldn't act on his own? illegals who want to come here download an anticipate. >> we are allowing asylum cl claimants to come to ports of entry using c cbp app. when people access the app and come to port of entry, they are screened and vetted before they arrive at port of entry. >> laura: use the app illegals, come on. details are terrible and supposed threshold numbers, people will be tracked or monitored. they are never tracked or monitored. they will throw the border wide open after the elections. and even mayorkas was struggling to remember the rules. >> if we experience seven consecutive calendar days where the average number of encounters each day is below 1500, then 14 days after those -- that, we will reopen and if in fact, if in fact the number of encounters thereafter is 2500 or more on average for seven consecutive days, we have the authority to again, implement this bar. >> laura: okay, were you laughing? uh, thereafter. he said the border invasion was not crisis and he was impeached for violating his duty to enforce law. 5200 per day, 5000 plus last week, daily average in april 4200. that is not including gotaways. can't see how this moves the needle for biden at all given the number. >> it is a bit of a 180 from allowing open immigration to flood in. fact biden addressed this now at this point inim too, five months before the election, really sounds like political posturing to me. >> laura: yeah, they always think americans are stupid, don't they? they are not. never lose sight of everything democrats do between now and election day issin sdooed for them to keep power. our constitution, our laws, norms, they love to talk about norms. none of it matters to them and neither does suffering of the american people temperature is about winning at all cost so they can return to their primary objective, reordering america into a place you won't recognize and where you won't want to live. right now it looks like there is still enough of us who love this country enough to save it. that is the angle. joining me from the border is fox's bill melugin. what are you seeing tonight? >> bill: laura, it is wild. we continue to see single adult men from another hemisphere away randomly showing upats the southern california border and entering without any resistance. this morning, 1:30 a.m., everyone is sleeping and this is upon haing. people from inneria the planet showing up here and crossing illegally. this is a hot spot in socal, they walk past mexican military and walk through a gap in the wall. most are from africa and asia, special interest countries that dhs is supposed to do vetting on for terror concerns. one single border patrol agent trying to coral hundreds of people who crossed. migrants were asking where they were, where is america and where is border patrol. take a listen. >> where are you from, what country? >> moratania. africa? why did you come to the united states? what country? >> nepal. >> nepal? all of you from nepal? >> no english. >> what country? >> vietnam. >> what country are you from? >> moratania. >> what country? >> know india. >> this is america. see the red lights. that is border patrol. >> no, no, no. san diego. see the lights? >> thank you. >> bill: laura, i know you will have thoughts about this. take a look, i saw migrants posing in front of the border wall taking selfies and photos celebrating after they crossed illegally, violating american walls and using the border wall as prop for social media posts and showing these people have no fear of consequences. live we are hours from this new biden executive order taking effect tonight 12:01 midnight eastern time, 9 p.m. pacific, we will be in jacumba to see if there are changes happening. some border patrol contacts in san diego sector tell us they have gotten no guidance from leadership so far. >> laura: do they have a clicker at the border, like in restaurants. that is one. that is not how they will keep track? >> bill: click, click, click, to 2500. >> laura: exactly. selfies were a nice touch. thank you so much. joining me is louisiana senator john kennedy. senator, biden ended his press conference in a way that says it all. watch. [many questions being asked] >> laura: do you think you have mastery of details, the tleesh number, fr14 days, thereafter. >> it is insane. the best use of the president's time at this point would be selling catheters on late-night tv. i mean, it really is sad. and we all know someone who has reached that age. we wouldn't even think of giving him or her the toughest job in the world. if the president were my father, i'd take away his car keys. >> laura: what about this border situation in terms of national security concerns? we know economic costs are in hundreds of billions in this country. >> i've read the executive order. the person who wrote it is either stupid or a skilled liar. the appropriate term is a scam. it doesn't limit people coming. it says there can be unlimited number of people coming into our country illegally so long as they come through a port of entry and it will take cartels a skinny minute to figure that loophole out. go to the epstein, -- end, if secretary of homeland security decide to let someone in for humanitarian reasons, they can in in. >> laura: the president made sure to try to reassure the left that this is just temporary today. >> it doesn't do anything. i predict main effect of this executive order, to remind the american people thattive welling under president biden has been one long prayer. he has been spectacularly awful, not just on the border, but so much else. we probably need to get one of those gi be gantic clocks and put it in time square that counts down the minutes and hours and days -- >> laura: or number of illegals that have come here, but we don't know any. humiliation of america on the world stage. i am not one to say the leaders think this, who cares. we spend 840 billion on our military a year and celebrating the d-day landing this week, huge anniversary, not many warld war ii generation left. now this is what america is. invasion ongoing and we are funding government. help is coming, trump will win. meanwhile, what damage has been did. if you are xi jinping or vladamir putin, this is representative dem democracy. >> most countries die by suicide. if you look at our state of our country today, do you know anyone better off today than four years ago unless you are illegal alien? >> laura: jeff bezos maybe. >> number two, i think our enemies, not only don't fear president biden, they don't respect him. they think they can show him right through that wall and i think they are going to make an eshg normous effort to keep him in office. i predict, if you took president lopez obrador in mexico and turned him upside down and shook him. president biden would fall out of his pocket and i predict over next couple months, president obrador is going to try to slow down some of the people coming into our country illegally, just to help and if president biden is re-elected, they will jack it back up again. >> laura: republican party now i think is more united than it has been in a long, long time. different wings of the party, given what happened to the country, there is no choice here, no nuance. former president trump has to be the rallying point for trying to save this country at this point. >> i think here is way most fair-minded americans look at it, here is what they will say. republicans are not perfect, the other side is crazy and it is led by joe biden. >> laura: do you think he is leading it really, you are a smart guy, crafty and smart. is joe biden, you saw that man, is he making any big decision? if not, who is running this country right now? >> president biden, one of three circumstances, he is either a wok wokide log or scared politician and will do anything to be re-elected or he's a skilled lar. >> laura: or run by someone else. >> or run by someone else. would have to be a scared to death to just -- who with any integrity would say, i'm the president, i will let you tell me what to do. when he was elected, his staff sat him down and said joe, you can go down in history as president obama's sidekick or you can be franklin roosevelt and president biden's attitude, i have principles. >> laura: he's always been that way. >> i think i will take door number two. heun ares as this moderate. but instead we get the first cousin of bernie sanders. they think the american people are stupid. the american people may be poorer under president biden, but they are not stupid. they get this. they see this. that i look at the border, crisis at the border is man-made. >> laura: why do you think they did it. >> that man's name is joe biden. >> laura: this is purposeful effort, do you think this is an attempt to remake the country? >> yes, you don't have to be -- to figure that out. look at economy, healthcare, our border, look at crime, look at our international relations, look at war in ukraine, look at gaza, look at afghanistan, look at our relationship with iran. we haven't been this vulnerable as a country since well before the world wars when we were trying to just stay out of everything. then we got pulled in. it's sad, but it is fixable. i believe this. i hate to be so cynical. i think the only place we're going to find a more secure border and a saner country is in the voting booth. i've given up on president biden. >> laura: great to see you in studio of all places. he was offered hair spray and did not take it. a real man does not want hair spray. >> i'm not a hair spry man. >> laura: no hair spray. the laptop from hell is back. makes debut at hunter biden trial. details are next. her uncle's unhappy. i'm sensing an underlying issue. it's t-mobile. it started when we tried to get him under a new plan. but they they unexpectedly unraveled their “price lock” guarantee. which has made him, a bit... unruly. you called yourself the “un-carrier”. you sing about “price lock” on those commercials. “the price lock, the price lock...” so, if you could change the price, change the name! it's not a lock, i know a lock. so how can we undo the damage? we could all unsubscribe and switch to xfinity. their connection is unreal. and we could all un-experience this whole session. okay, that's uncalled for. >> hunter biden's laptop is likely russian disinformation. >> a russian operation. >> 2-1/2 weeks before the election, this laptop ashes peers somehow. >> laura: only took four years to what we were saying back then. after opening arguments, prosecution introduced his lapd into evidence and special agent verified it was indeed hunter's. prosecutors went through multiple messages and videos to prove hunter was drugged out when he lied on the forms. joining me jonathan turley, fox news contributor. professor, with all the evidence today, what do you think hunter's defense team is going to do to try to thwart it? >> it is one of the most curious trials i've ever seen unfold. there is not a defense here. the form is straight-forward. it asks, are you a drug user? basically the trial began with hunter biden being called to testify against hunter biden. they read from his book, it said he was an addict. at times taking a hit of crack every 15 minutes. not only that, prosecutors introduced evidence that blew away the defense that was suggested to the jury. the defense said he did not knowingly lie on the form and suggested he might have just been drinking heavily during that period, not using drug. they have a text from the very next day, he's trying to reach a character named mookiesy to get drugs behind a sports stadium and then talks about doing crack on the hood of a car. this is all within a couple miles of the courthouse. >> laura: well, those are interesting names for drug scores. the jurors in this case, jonathan, seem to be, according to one account, pretty bored. they were increasingly bored with the first witness testimony focused on audio book version. jurors were slumped over in their chairs, have their head in their hand as hunter's narration of the book was heard in court. is that a problem for the prosecution or to be expected? >> jonathan: it reflected book sales and jury had the same reaction. >> laura: convicted on a bad book. >> jonathan: it comes down to a check on a form of a very clear question. if you are going to apply evidence in the law, the case ended 30 seconds after it began. i think that is the telling issue. why wouldn't hunter biden plead guilty to avoid or reduce chance of his going to jail. he doesn't have a plausible argument. this may be a jury nullification defense. they hope the jury will be sympathetic and the book has powerful sections that are quite moving. he talks about how this took over his life. this is wilmington, this is hometown of joe biden. they may be hoping those two factors can come into play to get jurors to look beyond evidence beyond the law for hung jury or out right nullification and having the first lady in the courtroom sitting behind hunter brings that home. this is biden town. wilmington over whelmingly. here the jury pool is good for the defendant and so is the next jury pool in los angeles for tax charges. >> laura: trump gets hosed and biden gets cream of the crop for sympathy. great to see you. thank you. coming up, this can't be. biden tried to fight a reporter, what? details next. because of your credit? here's great news. at newday we've been granted automatic authority by the va to make our own loan approval decisions. in fact, if you've had credit challenges and missed a payment along the way, you're more than five times more likely to get approved for the newday 100 va cash out loan. no one knows veterans like newday usa. i was scared when i was told age related macular degeneration could jeopardize my vision. it was hard, but taking preservision was easy. preservision has the exact clinically proven areds 2 formula recommended by the nei. i'm taking control like millions of others. laep /* >> laura: time magazine profile of joe biden was devastating. they admitted he was quiet and scatter shot and noted his advancing age and broad experience. time observed biden had a stiff gate and muffled voice in stark contract with the lo kwashs figure who was senator and vice president. that is a new angle favorite, i'm going to steal that. he joked about throwing down when he was pressed about his age, telling the interviewer, i could take you. maybe ask the ufc guys who hosted trump about that. >> donovan schultz is in the building and former president getting a standing ovation from the assembled masses. >> laura: chris bedford is joining me now. biden administration need to make this about trump, is it working? >> not so far. it worked 1st time when it is joe biden who had not been in the lime light for years and american people were willing to buy that donald trump who had been fighting was someone they could put behind and things get back to it. this is a strange election. you can't lie to voters. people know what it is like to have four years of donald trump and four years of joe biden. voters go to the grocery store and that will not wor for them. >> laura: he's lying about inflation, which is staggering. he was pressed about price surges and said wage increases exceeded cost of inflation, talking about prices pre-covid prices which are not the same and went to to blame corporation for ripping off. cumulative inflation outpaced wage growth, salient point. that is devastating, it is one or two in top concerns. >> it is not working for the white house. they are telling folks, there are jobs getting hired. unless you are an immigrant, you are not benefiting from jobs. telling people they are getting a raise. people know when they get a raise. people are choosing dinners differently, going out les. white house can't message out of that. >> laura: fox news has him up 13 points on economy. quinnipiac 12. marquette 21. abc 14. >> that is awful. awful news for joe biden. >> laura: how do you win the presidency with those numbers. >> they try to get different results and they are not, on foreign policy, economy, fit ness and age, joe biden is losing to donald trump with voters. they keep leaning back on likely voters, i think we will see a lot of new ones. >> laura: issue of immigration, he tried to pivot, kind of, made no sense. when asked about lifting trump-era immigration measures, you would think he would say, we were too quick on that. he said, if i was wrong, it was because i took too long to lift remain in mexico and 212 and things that worked. >> and things that broke down. i think this is why you saw this announcement from the white house as opposed to the border. if you wen
