And not only is he not just the same place, hes gotten worse. So what do you do if your entire coalition is unraveling . If he can hold the rust belt, wisconsin, michigan, and pennsylvania, its a race, and abortion is still popular in the battleground, so it is not over yet. If you get to the convention and you dont believe your candidate can win, with abortion and so many other things on the minds of democratic voters, i think a conversation might ensue but i dont think thats going to happen. If the democrats are able to make this a referendum on trump, which is hard to do against a challenger, but since he has been president , the country has a vision, has a history, has an understanding of what he might do as president , meaning ban abortions, the chaos that comes, democrats get their narrative together, you got to get it back. You can shake your head but that is the referendum on biden. I think the economy, in some ways, for a lot of people, is decent.
