Next hour President Biden is scheduled to lift off from the south lawn of the white house and head out west where he is going to campaign for three days. Here are the stops first heading out to nevada. He will stop in reno and las vegas. Phoenix, arizona. And then dallas and houston and texas. Biden Campaign Calls this a month of action designed to engage in mobilize voters and volunteers in the fight for the soul of the nation. The campaign has also cut a new digital ad leveraging former President Trumps comment about the Auto Industry. If he is not elected it would be a bloodbath for the country. Biden Campaign Says trump has spent years threatening Political Violence and praising dictators. Trumps campaign responded no amount of gaslighting from the Biden Campaign can mask bidens bloodbath he has brought all across america from the disastrous afghanistan withdrawal, costing american lives, Record Number of illegals crossing 9 border. So this week we will see President Biden out west engaging voters but also asking the white house when the president will field questions from reporters. Just saying. Peter there is a report that when President Biden was told his handling of the war between israel and hamas was starting to affect his poll numbers. The quote is he began to shout and swear. So, when he does that, is he shouting and swearing about netanyahu or about hamas or about his poll numbers . Ainsley lawyers are firing back saying the judgments full amount is a practical impossibility. A Bond Requirement of this enormous magnitude effectively requiring Cash Reserves approaching or Cash Reserves approaching 1 billion is unprecedented for a private company in as new York State Attorney general Letitia James is threatening to seize trumps assets and sell them off to get the money. Some facets to this story lets bring in Fox News Contributor g. W. University law professor jonathan turley. Jonathan, i did not know anyone in my life to try to get 450 million bond. One thing i found out very few Companies Offer it. They end up to about 30. All 30 secretary of defense we cant do that unless you have A Billion Dollars to put up. We dont want collateral. We dont want things to put up. We dont want properties to put up. Theyre we are at impals. What are the options for the former president. This is obviously a situation where you dont have any good options, including getting the bond itself. Remember, if you get the bond, you still lose considerable amount of money on the cost of the bond. And this creates a sort of Perverse Incentive for judges like this one who comes up with this astronomical, in my view ridiculous level of. Brian in anybodys view. Nobody thinks that number is good. Right. But in order basically his position is in order to get any other judge to look at what i have done to you, you have got to come up with basically a half A Billion Dollars just to appeal. Its like a judge saying im going to take your house away but you can appeal my decision, you just have to sell your house in order to do it. It doesnt many people look at this as a type of almost mob justice. As, you know, the Attorney General ran on bagging trump. She is now pledging to seize his property just because he cant come up with this bond. At some point the courts have got to step in and say, look. This is enough. You are requiring this astronomical bond just for this guy to be able to get any other judge to look at this decision. Steve sure. Jonathan, get in the Way Back Machine because you just perfectly set it up. She ran on getting trump and here she is back when she was running before she tried to get trump. Watch. Then you look at todays Wall Street Journal and they are echoing something you have said and that is whatever is transgressions, jonathan, defendants are entitled to due process, which includes the right to appeal. The appeal has not run its course. And it goes on. But, you have been talking about how he is not getting due process for months. Right. Look, you dont have to like donald trump to be appalled by what were seeing. I cant imagine why any business in new york would want to continue to do business in new york, including these banks. Could you imagine being the bank that gives this bond to trump whether you have got an Attorney General who is just laying waste to the land. These banks dont want to get in the crosshairs as the next target of Letitia James. Keep in mind what you just played by James Walls ACampaign Based on selective prosecution. Selective prosecution anathema to the rule of law. She actually ran on that. She pledged that she would get trump without saying what she would get him on. She just pledged ill bag him for you. Lawrence jonathan, i hate to interrupt you. But you go to the crutch of the argument. What is the Legal Recourse for that . We just played the montage. Said on the Campaign Trail made it very clear is there anything legally that can be done just on that . Its very hard to make out a case of selective prosecution. I filed a couple of motions like that against prosecutors. Judges dont like it. They dont like getting into the motivations. But the threshold issue here is just a basic due process of requiring confiscatory bonds in order to just secure an appeal. And this could end up going beyond the new york system. They could appeal this all the way to the Supreme Court. On occasion the Supreme Court has intervened in state actions. For example, on punitive damages. And said at points damages could become so high they deny someone due process of law this is falling into that extreme category in my view. I find it appalling. It shocks the conscience that you have to pony up this type of money just to get someone to look at what you believe and i believe is an excessive ruling by this judge. Ainsley umhuh. Its a lot of money. He has to come up with it by monday. Thats in new york. Lets go down to georgia where the lawyers for trump and 8 codefendants. They filed an Emergency Appeal in the fani willis case. They are trying to disqualify her, again. And this is from trumps lead defense counsel. The notion notes that the court found that willis actions created appearance of impropriety and odor of audacity that lingers in the case nonetheless refused to dismiss the case or disqualify her will they be able to disqualify her through this appeal or will this happen . Well, usually the courts will prevail on this. But the question is whether the trial judge will give leave to appeal to do an Interlocutory Appeal which is relatively rare that will further delay the case. You know, basically, willis has been playing game of chicken with these courts. She has refused to remove herself, as she should. And she succeeded. You know were the judge knew if he disqualified willis, he would likely have had to disqualify the entire office. And thats quite a cliff to go over. And so he blinked. And they are going to ask courts to look at this and say how is this coherent or consistent . You know, you indicated that wade, his answers were less than forthcoming. Some people believe he committed perjury. But she adopted his answers. They testified largely in tandem. So, if he was saying something untrue. She was saying something untrue. But, more importantly. Thattance of impropriety does not end with nathan wade. These two are joined on this appearance problem. So, we will see if he gives leave. If he gives leave, then this thing is not going to see a courtroom for a trial before the election. Brian yeah, we will see. If i was going against somebody, i would like to maybe go against her already so damaged her credibility so destroyed and she does not seem as though she is great legal mind. Thats the best situation for trump is that she is, indeed, carrying more luggage than amtrak and maybe thats what you want. Steve great line.
