Laura hello im laura ingraham. Thank you for joining us. This could be the night that both joe biden and donald trump clinch their partys nomination. Polls in georgia close just moments ago. Mississippi, they close at the bottom of the hour. Were not going to hear about Washington State or hawaii until later tonight but were going to bring you all those results as they trickle in. But, first, the collapse of the great biden coverup. Thats the focus of tonights angle. All right, Special Counsel robert hurs report released on february 8th painted a disturbing portrait of a mentally confused and forgetful joe biden. Democrats cried foul at the time. Its flatly wrong. Its inappropriate. It is gratuitous. Gratuitous, inaccurate, and inappropriate. Gratuitous and inappropriate criticisms of the president. I talked to President Biden, you know, regularly. His Mental Acuity is great, its fine. Its as good as its been over the years. Laura in response, republicans and the angle, we urge the doj to release the entire transcript of bidens five hour interview that occurred over two days with the Special Counsels office. Let americans see if hurs characterization of biden as a wellmeaning elderly man with a poor memory was accurate. And today, before mr. Hurs testimony on capitol hill began, the transcript was finally released. Now, it doesnt just confirm what we already knew about bidens dishonesty about the classified documents in his garage and his debilitated mental state, its worse than we even thought. Now, recall how the democrats went nuts. They were slamming mr. Hur for supposedly asking President Biden about his sons death. How dare you and noting in the report that he didnt remember when his own son bo died. Well, biden himself responded as well with manufactured outrage. How in the hell dare he raise that. Frankly, when i was asked the question, i thought to myself it wasnt any of their damn business. Laura very dramatic, but, looking at the transcript, we find, in fact, mr. Hur did not raise beau bidens death at all. President biden did. Mr. Hur asked President Biden about where he kept workrelated papers after he left the vice presidency. Biden asked if it was in 2017 or 2018, and ned said remember in time frame my son is either been deployed or is dying. Then he rambled on how the party would be hillary would be better in 2016. He hadnt ruled out down the road and then he said what was happening though what month did bo die . Oh, god, may 30th . Well, two of his aides added the year saying 2015. Then biden was asked was it said was it 2015 he died . Again, his aide jumped in and said it was may of 2015. Now, reading this, my first thought is dr. Jill biden should be ashamed of herself putting her country and ashamed. Special counsel Hur Oh Everybody is going to be biden is fine. Mr. Hur is the problem . They should also be ashamed of themselves for their role in this coverup. He is better than he has ever been intellectually, um, analytically, because hes been around for 50 years, this version of biden intellectually, analytically is the best biden ever. Laura really . Even the generally probiden axios noted bidens repeated mental lapses during the Special Counsels interviews. When did i announce for president in 2019 . If it was well, if it was 2013 . When did i stop being Vice President . In 2009. Am i still Vice President . And then he asked trump gets elected in November Of 2017 . Well, of course it was november 2016. And axios then notes twice on the same day biden struggled to find the words for fax machine. Now, ignore the democrats feigned bravado and their desperate attempt to what we know to be bidens conduct and diminishing mental state. Heres the truth. In hold guilty classified documents in unsecure locations across decades, joe biden was in violation of 18 u. S. Code section 1924. But, as we know, mr. Hur exercised his Prosecutorial Discretion and chose not to prosecute biden because he thought it unlikely that a jury of his peers would vote unanimously to convict him. Now, you can debate that or dispute that, but there it is. But the key fact here is biden himself was never exonerated in this report. Despite the democrats myriad attempts today to claim otherwise. President biden acted responsibly, cooperated completely, and the decision to decline Criminal Justice to decline criminal charges was relatively straightforward. The hur report represents the complete and total exoneration of President Biden. The Special Counsel exonerates President Biden. So this lengthy expensive, and independent investigation resulted in a complete exoneration of President Joe Biden. That is not that was used in tthe report. You exonerated him. Did i not exonerate him that word does not appear in the router. Mr. Hur, its my time. Laura i love how they talk over him when he is the guy that did the examination. He is the guy who sat down with biden. He said he did not exonerate him and jayapal sitting there going oh, yes, you did. Darrell issa picked up on all of this and reemphasized it. Did you reach conclusion that this man was outright innocent . That conclusion is not reflected in my report, sir. And i i just want to make sure the record is complete in that because i think its extremely important. You did not reach an idea that he had committed no wrong . You reached a conclusion that you would not prevail at trial and, therefore, did not take it forward; is that correct . Correct, congressman. Laura he did not exonerate joe biden. But democrats all day long just pretended that they didnt hear what the man actually said. Now, for its part, the white house responded today by saying in part that the transcript offers a more nuanced, i love that word, nuanced view of biden during the five hours of the interview. Nuanced . Well, they are getting really creative at least. Now, let me boil this all down for you. The first question did Biden Willfully retain classified documents . The answer is an unequivocal yes, he did. This conduct goes back 400 years to his senate days. Now, one farther of the original report references a discussion between biden and his ghost writer, mark zwonitzer. He recalled biden said to him that he needed to be careful because he was worried that some of his notebook entries could be classified. Okay. Remember, a lot of the other Interview Tapes just disappeared. But there is a mountain of evidence that indicated that biden knew he possessed classified material and knew generally where the documents were stored in his garage and elsewhere. And the truth is, democrats, not a single democrat cares. All their lectures about our National Security secrets, jeopardized with trump and maralago, they dont believe any of that. Thats all a farce. They never cared. Just like they didnt care about hillarys private email server being vulnerable or her destroyed emails. Didnt care about that, either. They are certainly not worried about what happens to america or preserving norms, even democracy, laws, forget about it. This is all a way to hold on to power with an iron fist. Thats what they care about. The Second Question raised by hurs initial vort biden mentally fit to be president as a lot of you are asking. That was also answered in the transcript. The answer, most definitely, is no. Again, the democrats claimed initially that it was all false biden is so smart, so sharp, better than ever. They implied that mr. Hur, himself, was another partisan hack. The real truth is all the main players in washington know what is real and what is not. They know what biden is like Behind Closed Doors and it aint pretty. They struggle to get him to focus, to make even minor decisions and they dont think the rest of us should know anything about this. The only way, and i mean the only way we can get the unvarnished truth is when biden is allowed by his handlers to go off script. And then he flounders. And then he stumbles. And we also get truth when we actually have a real transcript of just biden and the lawyer asking him questions for five hours over two days. Everything else that you see, Everything Else that you watch involving biden and cameras is staged spend time at a Memory Care Unit or rest home as i have with my ailing parents and relatives, and then you, you know, walk around and you ask residents detailed questions about their lives, god bless them all. Man, they spent a lot of time on this you exonerated President Biden line. Hur kept pushing back on that saying no, i did not. They refused to hear him. But they do know the truth, do they not . Yes, they do. And what mr. Hur did is what we call a Charging Decision. And you know that but he made a Charging Decision and said we dont think Prosecution Success is likely and so, therefore, were not going to proceed. Thats very different than exoneration. Its also very different thats like saying my client was found innocent. No client is ever found innocent. They might be found not guilty. But they are never found innocent. And the democrats knew that but they were crafting a narrative. And thats what all today was about donald trump and the word exoneration. And neither one was applicable or appear appear apropos to mr. S testimony. Laura their argument for biden is if you go biden 2024 colon on a bumper sticker, he wasnt indicted. That is kind of it. Thats really all they have. There was a moment involving your favorite, Congressman Schiff today at this hearing. You know, he had his chest poked out, again, he thought he was really tough. Watch this. Were there notes of the president of the United States that dated back to when he was a senator that contained classified information . Among the documents that were recovered during our investigation were marked classified documents that dated back to when mr. Biden was a senator. What you are suggesting is that i shaped, sanitized, omit portions of my reasoning and explanation to the Attorney General for political reasons. No i suggest that you not shape your for political reasons. [gavel] time. That did not happen, congressman, that did not happen. Laura we played issa there. Schiff was just berating him. That was the light part of it. Schiff was on him, on him, and on him. Hur and i have got to say he was unbelievably poised today. And i think they were very frustrated in the end, the democrats. I think you are right on both counts. I thought he was unflappable. I thought he was professional and it drove the democrats up a wall. And, quite frankly, i wanted to say to them is there ever any occasion, can you think of any time that its okay for a senator, a u. S. Senator to have classified documents at home . And the answer is no. Unequivocally no. And but the democrats were going to be going at this all day all night if they could because its not about getting at the truth, never has been. Its always about defending the brand. The same brand that his own family has been selling for years and thats the biden brand. Laura yeah. We know what they want to do. So joe bidens Mental Acuity. As you can sense it from reading this transcript, what do you take away from his answers, specifically his lack of memory on the documents themselves and, perhaps, how they got there, who put them there, et cetera . Well, they are very they are very embarrassing answers. And they also show the release of that transcript shows that biden has been lying about that. As you point out, but, heres a key point that i dont think anybody has made when you discuss how biden reacted to the investigation. This is actually in the hur report. The hur report said that President Bidens answers or explanations for his conduct in handling classified documents were not credible. There is a concept in federal criminal law, particularly federal white collar law, which i have been practicing a long time, is that when a person under investigation gives a false exculpatory statement, that is very damaging. That is akin to object destruction and you can present that to a jury and you can even get a Jury Instruction on it in some circuits. So, i think whats really important here is the reaction of the biden team, not only in the public, in his obvious lies about it. I hate to say it, but the president the more dramatic he gets the more you can tell that he is lying. But, also, you know, in terms of the investigation, his answers were false. Well, mike, when you really watch this testimony today and the democrats were like gnats flying around hur. He was asked about bidens credibility under oath. Listen. At any point in your investigation, did you have any reason to believe that President Biden lied to you . I do address in my report one response the president gave to a question that we had posed to him that we deemed to be not credible. Laura again, very dramatic. Mike, what are the implications of that . Well, remember, while biden was investigating trump for president ial records, trump was allowed to have in the office of former president under the president ial records act. Biden had seven stashes of stolen Classified Records from his time as Vice President , each his time as senator, which is hard to explain, they were moved several times unguarded for years, accessible by bidens chinese employee, almost certainly used by hunter to secure millions in burisma funding for the biden family. And then we found out that biden shared these Classified Records with his ghost writer for a book that biden got an 8 million advance on. So, the bidens are using classified information to make millions. Laura to make money. Yes, exactly. Laura sol, the tape recordings of the interview that he did with the ghost writer, those are gone. I mean, dont know what happened to those. Those are gone. And the repeated answers from biden in that transcript about how he didnt know who put things where, how they got there. I mean, this is four decades. I mean, im not saying everyone should remember everything about everything, i mean, willful retention of documents. The statute is quite clear how is this not willful when he tells the ghost writer be careful with my notebooks there might be classified information in there. Whats the definition of willful . Darrell issa kept going on and on about that and hes right. Its very clear. The definition is you know that youre violating the law. Its not just that you know you are doing something wrong, you know you are violating the law. And i have to say one thing i do take issue with, with robert hur, is he tries to distinguish President Bidens behavior from trumps allegedly obstructive behavior; however, remember, biden, youre only talking about as far as we know the unlawful retention of documents. If you are comparing that issue if you are talking about that issue, unlawful retention of documents, bidens conduct is much worse than trumps. He did it over a 40year period as you pointed out. He never had the right as a senator never to take documents out of a scif. He didnt have the right to declassify. And he didnt have the right to declassify as as the Vice President. So, actually, his conduct on that issue, on the issue of unlawful retention is far worse than what has been alleged against President Trump. Laura and adam schiff, this is what i wanted to get to before, he laid in to hur, and this made me scream laughing for what he deemed to be election interference. Watch. What you did write was deeply prejudicial to the interest of the president. You say it wasnt political and, yet, you must have understood.
