and that's your point, will. that's the distinction that they refuse to make. rachel: but make sure you give the illegals the dignity of calling them undocumented -- can. pete: nope, newcomer. rachel: newcomers is the new word. and i'll say this as well, you know, this isn't just the -- this is a globalist agenda. if you can get rid of the idea of illegal illegality, this is all about globalism, one world government can, you get rid of the idea of national sovereignty. it's all tied together. pete: one of the big tools they do to push that globalism viewpoint climate change. it's the ultimate mechanism because as the elites tell us, we all have to contribute. if we don't do our part through the cajoling of the international community, then we're all going to drown. well, one of the examples of how we need to do that, right, is electric cars. they've been pushing electric cars, subsidizing them, and they've been telling us it's all clean, it's all a much cleaner approach which if you just look under the hood a little bit, we all know is a sham is. the epa, the environmental protection agency, in our own country is now looking into reports and found that electric cars are more toxic than gas-powered vehicles. i wonder if the epa will give it a fair hearing, but apparently they're looking into the toxic nature of evs. here's michael bushboxer, a law firm partner, talking about the evs reportedly mitting more soot. how can this be true? than gas cars. watch. >> they've assumed that a comparable ev and a comparable internal combustion engine vehicle are going of the same am of particulate matter emissions, and that's just not true. today's cars are so clean that almost all of the particulate matter comes from tire wear. and electric vehicles are about 15-30% heavier than a comparable conventional vehicle, and so studies have shown that the particulate matter from that tire wear and just net particulate matter in general is significantly higher for evs. but when california and epa a look at it, they treat them the same. and as we explained, that's just wrong. rachel: you know what else ev vehicles have that combustible -- combustion cars don't have? if ev vehicles require do ballot which can means they require -- cobalt which means they require african child slaves to dug out the cobalt which we have, like, 40,000 of them in africa. and it seems like the green people have no copscience about that. -- consigns. meanwhile, with gas and oil you have guys with boots on working and making a family living. so you have your choice in that as well. pete: and a lot of them are mornings -- americans. and by with the way, those cobalt9 batteries are nearly impossible to dispose of. they're completely toxic, and your cars don't work. it's an interesting point, because we've regulated emissions so much on gas-powered cars, the real issue is these side issues which are more so with evs because they're heavier. who knew? will: not me. pete: learning all morning long. all right. we've got some headlines 15 minutes after the top of the hour, will, and we start with a fox news alert. and a tragic one. three people are now dead and one is hurt after a national guard helicopter crashed in texas near our southern border yesterday. three americans. two national guard soldiers and one border patrol agent were killed according to military officials. a thursday soldier onboard the helicopter is many critical condition. officials are investigating what caused the crash. and according to border patrol sources, get this, cartel members filmed the helicopter going down, and they can be heard laughing about it in a video that they filmed with a cartel drone. not sure why we're allowing those to fly, but the biden administration is. on to this, or california lawmakers are looking to ban decaf coffee -- will: i'm drinking it right now. pete: what?
