Now Congress Need to pass my plans to build and renovate 2 million Affordable Homes and apartments and bring those rents down. [cheers and applause] and by the way, my republican friends cost a lot of money and raise the deficit. By guess what . It cost the deficit 1 trillion. Last guy ballooned the deficit. We passed the budget deal that would cut another trillion dollars over the next decade. They kept trying to get out of it but they finally agreed. But now its my goal to cut the federal deficit by 3 billion more 3 trillion more by making big corporations and very wealthy and im a capitalist, by the way. You can go make a million bucks, a billion bucks, good for you but pay your taxes. [cheers. [ . We have a thousand billionaires in america. A thousand. Guess how much what their tax rate is . 8. 3 . Official with the group acknowledged during the gathering details of which were shared with politico that they currently do not have a candidate and may not find one so where is this going . You are Going Forward but he you dont know if you are going to get a candidate . Well, look, this has been a process that we have been working on for some time. Really we have got active about five months ago. We talked to delegates across our 50 states. We built a great Grassroots Organization literally i have interviewed every one of them about what we wanted in a candidate. What are the policies we have to deal with. What does a unity ticket look like . Ed to we had a grassroots moment if you love politics and talked about greatness of america they raised up and set yes, lets go. Lets get it going. We are now in the process of getting to the final lap of who this candidates are going to be and then well take it back and well make that decision. Bret yeah. So i have had you guys on the panel in d. C. I have had you we followed it all along. And we talked about if it was President Biden vs. Former President Trump, thats where this would be activated. Now you have this vote today. You also have a number of high Profile Politicians who have already said no. You have had nikki haley and joe manchin. Governor hogan from maryland, kyrsten sinema. You are running out of possible unity candidates, arent you . Well, there are are a lot of folks out there. I will say that those folks have got to speak for themselves. We never spoke about did we want them or how we wanted them. So, let them speak for themselves. Look, bret, we need someone special. You have got to have the courage to step up and break the system. Thats hard. Thats very tough for a lot of folks second you got to have the humility to reach across the aisle and create bipartisan effort to solve these Common Sense Problems that we have those people are few and far between and thats what were going to be working on in the next couple of weeks. Bret 1992 the most successful independent candidate ross perot in july of that year suspends his campaign. Here what happens said at that moment. Throughout this effort we have said repeatedly that our objective is to improve our country, not disrupted the political process. This probe would obviously put it in the House Of Representatives and be disruptive to the country. If we can only be disruptive, we dont want to do that. Bret but he went on to get back into that race in 1992, in october. He was a part of the debates with bill clinton and george h. W. Bush. And eventually got 19 of the vote and the h. W. Bush folks would tell you thats why they lost. And it was disruptive. Is this potentially what no labels is going to do . Well, first of all, the facts show that he drew equally from democrats and republicans. If you go back to those exit polls. But, we agree with a Fellow Dallas Ite here we want to make sure there is a pathway to the white house not to be a spoiler. We have no intention there.
