ingraham. this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. thank you for being with us. biden's remade america. that he was the focus of tonight's angle. >> laura: all right, everyone, you can't say they didn't warn us. >> there will not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration. >> those who come seeking asylum, we should immediately have the capacity to absorb them, keep them safe until they can be heard. >> should someone who is here without documents and that is his only offense, should that person be deported? >> that person should not be the focus of deportation. >> laura: we see what is happening to almost every corner of america. the biden administration is working hard and as fast as they can to change the united states and they are going to try do it before the next election. left wing mayors claim they are upset by all of this. too many migrants and maybe they are upset. but they are in on it, too. they are enablers. listen to chicago's mayor brandon johnson. he almost sounds proud. >> city government is maintaining our efforts to welcome and resettle asylum seekers here in chicago. and we are making progress. in partnership with the state, we have successfully helped over 10,000 new arrivals to resettle in the area and reunite with family and friends in various places. >> laura: meanwhile the migrants keep coming and coming and coming. until recently many were camped out in chicago police stations, but most of those have been removed and now many of those are living outside. now, right now, it's 20 degrees in chicago. but, the real feel is just -- 9. the entire situation courtesy of joe biden is a travesty. and at some point, thousands by the way in chicago are supposed to be relocated to an area that is yet to be constructed that is going to hold semipermits tent shelters. yeah. but local reports reveal there is confusion and significant opposition to this massive migrant project. and all of this and more explains why johnson has a 28% approval rating. and when they're not stealing tax dollars for the city services they get, some of the migrants are spending their free time stealing. yeah. and then there is new york where winter is right around the corner and so are the lines of migrants trying to get into city shelters. >> we continue to receive anywhere from 2,000 to almost 3,000 migrant asylum seekers a week. that is a continuous number that is just not sustainable. we stated over and over again. >> laura: here's a message for new york. stop marching for hamas and start marching for actual border enforcement. >> reports that november 20th incident was promptly addressed and brought under control through the leadership of the principle. school staff, school safety agents, and the nypd. the teacher was not in direct danger. >> we have taken disciplinary action against some of the students. >> and across the country in what was once beautiful san diego, you should have seen this place in 1990 by the way when i lived there. they are dealing with a huge influx of migrants 300 living at the san diego airport alone, how is this even allowed and others are just loitering. >> the number of migrants is simply breath-taking. the san diego sector alone has received more than 200 and 30,000 people 30% increase from the year before. now, taxpayers are fed up. special those who live along the border and immigrants themselves who came the right way. taxpayers in denver saying schoolings overrun and overwhelmed by migrant students without any english language skills. including many illiterate and their native language. now let's move to the heinous migrant crisis in arizona. to say that border agents in the tucson sector are stunned and overwhelmed is a wild understatement they apprehended 58,000 in four weeks alone. it's so bad that border patrol tried to keep the public in the dark. they announced that they were pausing all tucson exec tore border patrol social media accounts to deal with the surge. fox news did a big piece about it. now, think about that. i think it's time for the public to actually hear from federal officials to explain how they are going to stop the madness but you don't want the border patrol people to get the worked out. all we get is a tweet with a very, very bad summary of what's happening. here's what happened in the last week. 15,300 apprehensions. 117 pounds of fentanyl. how many will be-could be killed with that? 78 federal criminal cases. 17 rescues. 14 human smuggling events. and three narcotic events, whatever those are. now, wait a second, why don't we ever hear from our dhs secretary, why doesn't he speak about any of this? well, because he is too busy lying. >> the answer is quite clear. and this is to fix a system that everyone agrees is fundamentally broken. and we need congressional action. for the 12 million people who are here in the united states, who have been contributing so fundamentally to our country's well-being, they are our neighbors, our friends, our fellow congregants. they provide our frontline workers. >> laura: oh yeah like the migrant teen who was accused of brutally murdering a homeless man in new york just recently? yeah, they are contributing. it's collateral damage for the white house to get to their big goal which is creating an american that won't know our history, where our kids are going to be taught to hate the history, and also to learn that they are just victims of oppression. and a society run by people with white privilege. unfortunately, that's what the migrants are going to be taught if they go into public school. so this is biden's america. and if you are as horrified as i am in watching all of this, do everything you can to defeat the people in charge right now so we can actually save this country. and that's the angle. joining me now is stephen miller, former senior adviser to president trump. founder of america first legal and allenor, immigration attorney. all right, allen, we will go to you first. do you fall into the line we keep hearing oh this just shows you that the system is broken? is that what you are seeing across the country right now? because that's what i'm hearing from the dhs secretary. >> not only do i fall in that line i'm a lawyer which you are trained. by the code it is congress' job to handle immigration. they do the funding of immigration. they do the removal of imgriggs. they have not passed a bill since 1996. so, therefore that, shows you if it was such an important thing they would have changed it. showing at the border and applying for asylum is currently legal therefore congress needs to take action. >> laura: that's lame i will let miller take it away. >> bill passed in 1996 under the clinton administration was massive public outcry about the lack of deportations so republicans and democrats got together in '96 and passed a bill speeding accelerating and mandating deportations. that's the law on the books. that's the law that joe biden is breaking every day. the law that mayorkas wants is amnesty. that's not a solution. it's an accelerant to every single aspect of the border calamity occurring today. making illegal aliens into citizens. if you walk through some of those numbers, laura, they are beyond stunning. i think your audience would be shocked to know that in l.a. and new york now half, half of public school students come from immigrant households. in cities like charlotte is 40%. in nashville, tennessee, 100 languages are now spoken in public schools. 30% of students need help speaking english at all crash every aspect of american society which, of course, is the point. allen, new york's mayor was discussing the cost of sheltering the people who are walking right across the border. and within 72 hours, most of them are just sent off to go wherever they want. watch. this we have opened over 210 what we call humanitarian relief centers. this is going to cost us $5 billion during this fiscal year. $7 billion we need to find in january. this economically not sustainable. and the place is not sustainable. >> laura: so the city is dealing with a huge budget crisis, allen, so how is this not the fault of the biden administration when the border was essentially under control, especially in those last few years of the trump administration? >> well, part of that is related to covid. and actually the biden administration has deported more people than the trump administration did in the last two years in his administration. but let's look at the receipts. during the trump administration, they spent close to $17 billion on the wall. which cannot stop immigrants from coming under the biden administration. >> laura: allen, before we -- hold on, allen, take a breath. the problem with your glib line there and obviously i'm stephen's side. i'm not trying to gang up on you. they deported more people yeah, because we had almost a record number of people who have crossed our border about 8.7 million people have crossed our border. do you know how many cities you know, combined get to 8.7 million people? >> absolutely. >> laura: which african-americans are absolutely outraged by this in chicago, stephen, i was watching the protests today in chicago about the new migrant shelter. they don't want it there. you see the uproar in denver. they don't want it there san diego they don't want it there. okay? so it's not just black americans. it's immigrant americans, too. >> celebrate between black and white. >> laura: well, because. >> nobody in this country. >> laura: you know i am because the coalition of biden supporters are now seeing what an open border really does. it doesn't just stay in texas. stephen? >> yes. nobody in this country, except the radical left and politicians in washington, want our countries delugeds with never ending streams of low wage labor. it depletes the tax base, destroys public education and healthcare. let's talk numbers real quick. ice removals only statistics that matters comes to enforcement lowest level since the agency was created. in 2020 do you know how many discretionary releases of illegal al aliens were into this country zero. zero discretionary releases in 2020. during the trump administration with you were sent packing, sent home. if this migrant crisis is shut down there will not be a working class in which country there will be two classes very rich and well connected and poor and struggling. this will kill and is killing the american dream. >> laura: allen, why do so much rich people, a lot of plutocrats, they love the open border, right? they love it because it's cheap labor for them. they love having cheap labor in the united states. that's their goal. they would like an endless supply of cheap labor, don't we. this i don't think that's them. congress as a whole which i think michelle is missing. congress only passed the bill to key parts 400,000 people. they never reached that level. the only president that came close was obama. the amount of money, $57 million mo immigrants to new york city and other places that same $75 million would have been used to help them. we have two visions here where one vision by mr. miller is we are going to lock everybody up and have the taxpayers pave to have them. >> laura: no want them deported. >> when we talk about history. >> laura: we want them deported. >> we are not deporting them. we haven't deported since 199 #. >> we are sending them home. >> laura: allen, you actually would like them deported so we find some agreement here. >> laura: or cupito them all to sampleghts turn down the number of individuals returning to border. deportation place in immigration system. not everybody guess domain deign. if we spent the amount of money on imgax courts that be ice. 17% more on ice, if people were to have their day in courts faster than five years. >> laura: where in the constitution does it say people who cross our border get a day in court and nowhere in our constitution. okay? you walk across the border. you don't get a day in court. >> only country in the world. all 2 or 3 billion get their day in court in america. >> part of the liberty that we talk about. the history we want to predict, right? there are an nation of immigrants. >> we are a nation of citizens. we are not a nation of immigrants we are a nation of citizens. absolutely a nation of citizens. >> laura: how many immigrants are on camera complaining about what is happening to their communities who came the right way, stephen and allen, great conversation, thank you both. the stream of migrants which i talked about clouds violent criminals, gang members, drug pushers, child molesters and, of course, would be terrorists shows no signs of letting up. why would they stop coming. after all they are getting a lot of help. here's a report from border hawk news. >> most of these people do not to get through the river. through g.p.s. they obtain the location where razor wire last october. [speaking spanish] >> migrant said they were angry that mexican authorities sent them to cross into this dangerous river at night rain >> laura: joining me independent journalist covering the crisis for years on both sides of the border. we reached out to mexican authorities and the dhs for a statement. neither responded what are the migrants telling you about why they are coming now? who do you think is behind this? >> hey, law, great to be with you. that's one of my main questions that i ask the migrants when i interview them on the mexican side. why are you coming now? and without let tailgating the answer is that the border is open. they talk about president biden's and that they are going to be helped. that's one of the main answers that they give and i ask them why now? why didn't you come before? have you heard of president trump. >> yeah. we have heard of him. he was very strict. we weren't going to risk coming under him to get deported. that's why we are coming now. we know under this administration we are going to be helped and this morning on my way over to eagle pass from del rio i stopped at the ngo. one of the migrants approached me from venezuela. he was complaining because the ngo kicked him out. he didn't have money to buy his bus ticket. aren't they supposed to help us? what are we going to do now on the streets without any money? who is going to help us? and that's their mindset is that. >> they are being told that basically things are going to be paid for. they are going to be taking care of. now, that runs counter to a narrative in that they are only coming here to work. we need workers. we want all these jobs that americans won't do. by the way that most people in my family did. won't do these jobs we need those people. what are you finding? >> yeah. so in this sector, del rio sector we have been b. 90% venezuelaen and some central americans they are coming from socialists or communist countries and they are use do this lifestyle where the government is providing everything they are come with the same mindset united states the government is going to issue out handouts and everything is going to be free for them. i have been asked how am i going to get a free vehicle? how am i going to get a free house? these are questions that they're asking. that's the mindset that these migrants that are crossing in the sector are coming with. they believe that the government is going to help them out and give everything free for them. >> laura: that's pretty much right under biden they pretty much get what they want. they complain about the food once they get here and this and that. auden, i know you actually tried to bring your wife to the united states the right way. you spent a lot of time in mexico you have been frustrated by the process. a lot from american citizens or dual citizens and have their family together. what's this process been like us ho how frustrating given people walking across the border? >> that's the whole irony of a lot of families that we live here on the border communities. i myself, a u.s. citizen, married mexican national. my wife is in across from del rio. our process has been lengthy. we have been waiting five years to enter legally for her. it's been expensive. and there's a lot of families going through the same scenario there's a lot of frustration. one because we are trying to do things legally and get our relatives across. and at the same time, we're witnessing how thousands are just entering the country illegally and getting a free pass under this administration. and that frustration i think you are going to see this next next election at the ballot box. >> laura: they are scamming the system and invited by a scammer mayorkas and biden. auden, thank you. nothing is off limits to the pro-palestine protesters, including the funeral of a former first lady. now where does 2024 presidential candidate cornel west stand on this? we're going to find out, next. but i'm also a mother of four. and as entrepreneurs, we weigh the cost of every decision. medical bills are no longer a worry for our family. so i can focus on my calling and our family. joining christian health care ministries was one of the best decisions we ever made. we're the blair family, and this is our chm story. choose your doctor without network restrictions. all at an affordable price. enroll anytime at chministries.org/enroll. ♪ [shouting] president joe biden you come to atlanta and protesting for the crime against humanity that he has committed. he is dead wrong. [shame. [chanting shame. [. >> shame on joe biden. >> laura: nothing is sacred to these people. this protest went down outside rosalynn carter's funeral today. now at a time when i think we need politics free christmas, more than ever. they are gearing up to disrupt tomorrow's rockefeller center tree lighting. that's going to win them a lot of friends. last night they took over a city council meeting in denver. why? they didn't want the jewish national fund to hold a conference in the city. one activist compared denver's hosting the group to hosting a fund raidser for nazi germany. okay, that doesn't make any sense. meanwhile the political fallout for biden on this issue among young people continues. citing both the bad economy and biden's foreign policy, voters ages 18 to 34 are turned off by what the white house has done far left which turned out big for biden in 2020 has done a full on embrace in some cases of hamas caught off guard by comments like. this if hamas is a terrorist organization then idf is a tears organization. idf is a bigger terrorist organization if you ask me. >> you believe the israeli retaliation to the hamas attack is -- >> -- what would you say to those who say hamas provoked this. >> that's absolutely lies. there is no evidence that hamas attacked. >> israel killed their own people? >> absolutely. >> my next guest went viral for own speech calling israel's response a genocidal attack on gaza. joining me now dr. cornel west, 2024 independent presidential candidate. dr. west, great to see you as always. now, you and i disagree i know on at love issues. i think we can have a pretty constructive conversation here. so, let's start with just the basics. do you think atrocities were committed against innocent civilians by hamas terrorists on october 7th? absolutely. any time you kill innocent people it that's a war crime. there is no doubt about that. it's in the context of 75 years of a very vicious israeli documentation any time you kill innocent people it's wrong. when you kill civilians, those are war crimes no matter who does it. that's true whether u.s. army does it. whether hamas does it whether the irmts df do it, whether russian army does it. we have to have some moral consistency here at that point when those crimes occurred, what should israel have done? i think israel should have been at the occupation long time ago and treated palestinians with dignity and qualities. stay on the q
