hostages that are now safe and home. one is 34, and her daughters are 4 and that is a mother and her daughters. a mother and her daughter 45. ruth munda48, and keran munder54 and ohadmunder, 9, adi in, amo shall recollects he72 and hannah katzir76 and margalit mo cespedes 77 and hanna perry 79 and yaffa adar85. these hostages handed from gaza to the red cross and taken through the rafah crossing through egypt and cross over the border into israel and they'll be take ton an air base and they'll be checked by doctors and then eventually they'll be taken to separate medical facilities based on their physical concerns but also because of age. there's the hope we'll see the release of more children and given the ages of how many people were taken and their ages, there's a lot of kids around the age of 3 years scold one baby that's just 10 months old and a lot of safety concerns about what kind of medical condition they might be in. so far from the images and doctors say overall physically they appear in better condition than they were expecting. guys, back to you. rachel: alex, quickly, what do we know about this release coming maybe within the hour of americans being released? any expect taces at all americans will be released? >> we know there's three u.s. dual citizens and hope and expectation that would come and there's been a release of names expected to make their way back here to israel. a lot of hope but a lot of skepticism from the families as to whether or not that will really happen now especially as we're hearing that number of 14 could change to 13. of course you have to imagine for that one family that heard yesterday their loved one would be coming home to now hear that there's going to be a big concern on everyone's mind. jot other side ceasefire and any indication there were concerns that perhaps they could communicate with certain factions of islamic gee jihad and going to be honored somewhere. >> it seems at this point the ceasefire is holding but there's some new concerns of what is taking place on the northern front and siren withs the northern part of israel with the conflict of hezbollah and that's a separate conflict, wider concerns this could be a larger regional conflict and we heard sirens and unfortunate change of events considering that yesterday we had not. yesterday was relatively calm and keep an eye on that and it appears as of right now the conflict in gaza and war appears that both sides have been abiding by the ceasefire and heard from both sides and there's this big belief, big desire to make this ceasefire work. when all is said and done after the four days and after monday keeping tunnels possible and finding militants and moving forward deeper into the north and south and qatar already trying to broker conversation saying that they'll begin again trying to broker the new hostage deals, which is a big sign of hope for the families here who know they'll not be getting their approval rating wouldn't be as low if the economy were actually good and people could afford that lives. rachel: right, the poll, this article in some of the polls talk about they trust republicans more to handle it. it comes down to one single issue and that's energy. energy is impacted all of these prices. look at these poll numbers by the way, 38% approve of joe biden's handling of the economy. almost 60% disapprove and hasn't changed much since september, joey. joey: yeah, going anywhere, it's going the wrong direction. the most important poll is the next poll we're going to talk about this. is really the premise of our country. do you think the american dream holds true and i'm bringing in up because so much of the american dream is planting your flag, buying a home and a small piece of property. this is your investment and what physical part of the country you own and the housing market and money lending is so upside down for people right now. it seems insurmountable to buy a home and start a family. looking at poll. they just had it up, says 45% says it might have been true once but it's not true anymore. the people that say it still holds true is barely a third of americans or those polls say it holds true and that's your motivation. that's your belief. dollar bill is a piece of paper unless you believe in it. that's your belief in this country. when that goes down, nothing is safe. rachel: you know, donald trump plays into the polls and it's not hard to remember back just a few years to how good the economy was for so many, especially the working class. this was a tic tock on social immediate jaire and a family and mother speaking to camera and telling what's going on in her family and she explains how she has a good job, her husband has a good job. still they're having trouble making ends meet and she speaks for a lot of moms and dads out there. listen. >> i feel like my husband and i are doing everything right. we both have good jobs, i'm a registered nurse, i work full-time, he works full-time. we just got paid this past friday. we pay the mortgage, bought some groceries, put some gas in the car. guys, it is tuesday and we have like 2 or $300 to last us until next friday. todd: that's sad. rachel: that's not the american dream. todd: it's reality. joey: it's reality. rachel: that is the reality. exactly. todd: that underscores my overall point is that, yes, trump lost the last election because people didn't like donald trump at that point in time. now we see people are upset that biden mumbles around, looks like he's, you know, in the early stages of dementia, but i truly do not believe that would matter and i think trump's getting the benefit of that and people to your point look and say maybe i was wrong but i didn't like all the trump stuff because when trump was in office, i wasn't experiencing that. it all comes back to the theme of that politico article and in and of itself was correct and economy, economy, economy. all this other stuff is superfluous. if people are feeling like they can get ahead or not fall behind, joe biden would be doing okay. the reason he's floundering a little bit to do with the extra economic stuff. it's mostly 99% the economy. joey: the problem with videos like that for politicians is that strikes at heart of narrative for both sides. republicans can't run from that. what's urinaritive? pull yourself up by your boot straps, go to work and work hard and take a risk and all the things i believe n. if we take them at face value, that's what they're doing and they have a couple hundred bucks left to go for a week and food for two people much less in they have kids costs more than that. there's no reason that a politician can stand there and point a finger back at them saying you need to do more. it's not the government's job to fix it but it's the government's job not to break it. that's the problem, what is the answer you offer a family like militaryperspective, what are yn gourd for today? >> obviously i think the israelis have taken the proper precautions with how they're handling the hostage exchange with hamas. that doesn't worry me as much as the implications of the temporary ceasefire and how unbalanced that temporary ceasefire is. israel has two goals and one is hamas and second is hostages and both are compatible to each other when it comes to securing decisive military operations on the ground. i lived this for ten tours in afghanistan, and i saw how it emboldened the enemy and helped our enemy. humanitarian supplies will end up in the hands of hamas and be taken from the palestinian civilians and that's just the reality of it. we saw it time and time again and this is just the beginning of the international community tieing one hand behind the israeli military's back to try and accomplish their mission of destroying us. there's never been a political solution to this. the military solution is a solution that of course is always something that people kind of back away from but at the end of the day, hamas needs to be destroyed, this ceasefire favors hamas and will always favor hamas and in the international community, the biden administration and biden international media are now using this ceasefire and developing a narrative that paints israel as the one at fault here. that couldn't be family. how do you reconcile that? how does the viewer watching at home reconcile that with the operational reality of what this pause means for the war, for the people that are going to be doing the fighting in this war? >> well, how i reconciled it when babies died in my arms and saw refugee camps with babies cover with flies and saw what the taliban and al kai disa and isis did to -- al-qaida and isis did to women and children. they've caused this and so when i go on bended knee and pray to god, i understand that this tugs at the heart strings of everybody and this is something we don't want to see. those that fight it and want to fight and have the best opportunity to win. the shorter the victory here, less suffering that goes on. i saw this firsthand, and i saw what happens when you conduct military operations and civilians get hurt. i broke bread with them and i appal jazzed to them and told them what they did. this was all part of a military operation and, you know,
