>> the first groups of hostages being released by hamas 50 days after they were captured in the october 7 terror attack that killed 1200 people. 13 israelis were freed and idf confirms they are back in israel, alonging with 10 tie hostages and one filipino national released separately under a separate deal. total of 50 israelis expected to be freed as part of the ceasefire deal arranged in exchange for 150 palestinian prisoners. we are getting new video showing convoy of red cross carrying the hostages out of gaza, you see it there. uplifting sight comes as american hostages are still being held in gaza, that includes abigale, who turns four yearsode today. she is not expected to be included in today's release. we are hopeful she will in the future. prime minister netanyahu is monitoring the situation as this deal unfolds. hello, welcome to special edition of "outnumbered," i'm kayleigh mcenany, joining me is tammy bruce, director of tech policy center at heritage foundation, kara frederick, restoring america editor kaylee mcgee white and columnist for messenger, joe concha. straight to trey yingst live at the air base in southern israel with the latest. trey. >> trey: good afternoon, we expect those hostages to be brought to the air base in southern israel, we can confirm they'll are in israeli territory and now we should change our wording, they are no longer hostages, they are finally home. the 13 israelis have gone through 49 days of hell, truly. the entire population of israel breathing a sigh of relief tonight, according to defense forces, they are accompanying the forces making sure they get appropriate care. they are working around the clock to ensure they have everything they need. we saw video today, military preparing noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses and blankets for people, they have been sheltered from the outside world after being dragged into gaza on october 7. we are getting details where the individuals are from. many are from the commu communi neros. mothers and children. you can imagine how many families are overjoyed that these people have been released as part of this larger deal negotiated by the qataris. kayleigh. >> kayleigh: home to kafir, the youngest hostage, his mom and brother we talk about on "outnumbered." i know we don't have names currently to report to the audience, i heard you mention a mother and daughter were among the hostages, is that correct? >> that is correct and there may be multiple mothers and daughters released as part of the larger deal. we are getting names of the hostages and i see on this list, a few weeks ago we talked about this boy that was turning nine years old ohad, a little boy with glasses, we brought the photo six weeks ago and talked about him. he's among the list back in israel. so many people, the milestones that passed, they will be returning to loved ones tonight and family members will speak to them on the phone before seeing them in some case says, they will be taken to hospitals and receive specialized care. one other name on the list that is quite interesting is an older woman who was previously declared dead by the factions inside gaza. indication that hamas and islamist jihad may have been using psychological terror against the israeli people saying some were dead when they were not. you can imagine the relief of her family. this is how unpredictable this situation is and until the moment the individuals cross into israel, we were not able to confirm they were all safe and okay. you started to see this video trickle out from rafah crossing between gaza and egypt and it gave hope to the country. they could see elderly women among the group. they had assistance walkly, but seem broadly okay. some children and even some people waving to the individuals standing on the side of the road. this was facilitated by qatar. the plan to get them into the hands of red cross and go into egypt and be met by shinbet and travel to israel. we understand through the shallom crossing, into gaza. they are on their way to the air base and will be evaluated to see what medical treatment they need and go on to local hospitals in central part of israel. we can report 13 israelis returned to israel as part of larger deal negotiated on behalf of qatar. this is just day one of what is expected to be four days of ceasefire and i -- my producer just confirming now they are on their way here as we speak. possibly later in the program, we'll be able to show you that bus as it enters this air base behind me. this is a staging point to get them to other medical facilities. this is day one of a four-day ceasefire. israeli hope to get 50 of their citizens out as part of this deal. kayleigh. >> kayleigh: ohad is mung those released, we talked about him on "outnumbered," he celebrated his ninth birthday in the hands of hamas, who wearing glasses. he is free, praise god, we prayed for him in our family. have you gotten any indication? i know debate whether they would come via helicopter noise cancelling headphones and shield eyes or via bus or vehicle? any indication yet? >> it appears they will come in bus, they had the helicopter on standby in case they were in need of immediate medical attention. they appear stable and on their way here as we speak. i want to note, this information is just coming in, bear with me as i read this. it appears ohad's mom and his grandma are released, as well. sense of families and relief they will have tonight. >> kayleigh: praise god, answered prayer in a horrific situation. thank you for your phenomenal coverage, as always. tammy bruce, ohad is free. he celebrated his ninth birthday in cap captivity, described as bright kid who loves soccer, tennis and solving rubix cube. i hope they have one amongst the toys there. >> tammy: you don't second-guess israel's decision here. this was and is ransom to get the innocent people back home. there he is. everyone ranging from grandmothers to children, this is his generation now, generation that should never have to face this again. it is happened against the jews, this is what the world has seen, the 20th century, the children being separated and gassed first. regarding human condition, crimes against humanity, focus and deliberation of israel of saving the innocent, the innocence of other nations involved now. hopefully when it comes to the israeli people, this -- they understand this can't continue. do what you can to get as many innocent people out without giving up, this is history here, this is why hamas was surprised at the israeli reaction, which is shocking. this has been the circle for decades, clearly israel knows it has to stop. the generation of the children leaving this terrorism and this is psychological terrorism which continues, has got to be the last generation that experiences this in this dynamic. >> kayleigh: no doubt. joe concha, the photo, there was some hebrew written on it when we showed the photo on "outnumbered," it said you are welcome to celebrate my birthday. celebrate ohad's birthday. >> there is a mother and grandmother waiting for him, my son turns nine this years, i know the mindset of an eight or nine-year-old boy, i can't imagine what he went through. abigale has a birthday today and she, if released, she goes from one hell of being in the tunnel with terrorists for 49 days and to another where she thinks she will be reunited with her parents or she witnessed her parents being murdered and then taken hostage for 49 days. human story, that is a story where you wonder if she will have a normal life ever again. >> kayleigh: well said. kara, we talk about this kibbutz, i mentioned kafir, his mother and his dad. one of his family members wrote this, i want to read it because it puts the mind of viewers in the mind of someone who has a family member in cap captivity. we must muster strength we have to avoid falling apart, never before has anyone felt so close yet so far away from something at the same time. i imagine there are hundreds of families out there with the exact feelings and emotions right now. >> kara: it is devastating, we are mothers here, i couldn't imagine this happening to my own young child. what i think we should bear witness to, very much worth talking about, what israel sacrificed to do this. the moral character of their leadership in order to make this deal. when you think about it, they had a lot of momentum on the battlefield in gaza. they are letting hamas terrorists refit, rest and shore up defenses for the backside of this fighting and they are doing it because they are saying every one of our citizens matters, women, children, every one matters, we'll give up that strategic positioning on the battlefield knowing it will put soldier at risk on the backside and they did it anyway thachl is who they are. >> kayleigh: that is who they are. and at the same time, these families, you imagine children coming home, mothers coming home, uncertainty, what state are they in psychologically, phy physically, emotionally. for 49 days these individuals were in the dark, probably in cells, making sure they have glasses, headphones, consulting with holocaust survivors to make every detail perfect. >> kara: look at the children who will soon get off that bus and i hope every leftist tearing down posters in new york and d.c. and cities across the country are forced to watch those children as they get off that bus and realize those are pictures they were tearing down, innocent civilians trapped in gaza in tunnels in the dark and forced to suffer for 49 days. the psychological warfare hamas is using in this to torture israeli civilians is very important element. the fact is there are 240 hostages, now 220 hostages in gaza. there is no guarantee they will get all 240 hostages back. their homes have been burnt and family members killed. hamas is holding that over israel's head in an attempt to gain leverage and prevent israel from conducting their offensive mission. this need to be addressed and i wish outlets would cover that aspect of it. >> kayleigh: well said. first hostages are released from hamas cap captivity today issue the white houses it is doing all we can to free americans still captive in gaza. we'll bring a live report on the efforts next. my dad believed in hard work, and the farm was the perfect place to learn grit, determination and problem solving. we're taking that passion and channeling it through our farm to home bedding bath, u.s. official telling fox news the white house is doing all we can to bring them home. lucas tomlinson is live in massachusetts where the president is spending thanksgiving. lucas. >> lucas: we spotted the prez -- presidential motorcade rolling through town. with the release of the 24 hostages from gaza, 13 israelis, form workers working the kibbutz and the filipino citizen. the white house is wanting to see americans being released in the 50 hostages that could come out during this four-day truce. that includes that three-year-old little american girl abigale, whose parents were killed in front of her and she spent 16 hours with them before she was kidnapped, one can only imagine the trauma that little girl has experienced and being reintegrated into israeli society. the white house is monitoring developments with the hostages, certainly release of american hostages at the top of the list, we account be hearing from president biden, we don't have guidance from white house officials. we could be hearing from president biden later today. >> kara: lucas, there was a piece in the "wall street journal" that took us behind the scene of negotiations and there was urgency issue president biden got involved with qatar and said this could be our last chance. it seems the white house had their hand in this, understood how urgent this was. lucas tomlinson that is right, president biden has been working with qatar and the president of egypt in the negotiations. leaders much hamas live openly in qatar and the government of qatar has been the mediator in hostage negotiations. the white house is putting pressure on prime minister netanyahu to not just help secure release of hostages, but to agree to the four-day truce. it did take prodding to get the israelis to agree to this truce and we are seeing hundreds of palestinians moving from southern gaza to northern gaza, which could be difficult for israeli forces when it comes to targeting senior hamas leaders, many civilians running around the battlefield will make the targeting more difficult. that is what hamas wants, military disadvantage for israeli forces >> kayleigh: the president was asked about abigale, or american hostages generally, last comment is from yesterday. he is hopeful, what can you tell us about the status there? lucas tomlinson that is right, that happened yesterday while the president and first lady was visiting a firehouse, he was asked about the release and the president crossed his fingers and said he's hopeful. the white house wants to see american hostages released and expectation was three american hostages would be released as part of the initial traunch over next four days and many americans want to see abigale included in the hostage release. >> kayleigh: thank you. i have a list of names that i want to share with viewers. it appears these are the 13 released today separate from the other hostages who are not systems of israel, tammy, you had the family and ohad, three members of that family, ohad, his grandmother and his mom, the aloni family, another family group, two members there. and then we get to the asher family and i want to share about the asher family. roz and avive asher, four year old and two year old girl, their picture was on the front of the "new york post." their moth er was released, voz and avive was in their home and the father was not there. the father gets a call from the mom and says there are terrorists in the house. he saw his two daughters and wife were taken captive. he said i can't sleep, i'm living outside my body. these two babies should not be held or kept by terrorists. my daughter and i prayed for these little girls by name, they are free. >> tammy: victory for humanity, it is reminder of the savagery, difference between family and life and what matters and how a parent feels versus -- i don't use this word often, monsters. you can't believe a certain kind of behavior can exist. for americans and the world, world war ii is black and white on history channel, but this is type of savagery you can't imagine or don't think about now, but it is here and thank god there are people in israel, holocaust survivors, jews around the world understand what this means and even now the responsibility that father will feel, that mother will feel and how they will face the future. >> kayleigh: as they arrive at the air base any moment, they are greeted by toys, the setup is beautifully done, they consulted with holocaust survivors to make sure these children and women were kept comfortable as possible. >> joe: you read the case studies and you don't know how many months or years these kids and hostages will wake up thinking they are still in cap captivity, that will be a challenge. we don't have the squad in any real position of power, remember just two days after october 7, they were calling for immediate ceasefire by israel, what if israel did that? then the hostages would not be coming home, so kudos to president biden for being unwaivering with israel and aksz they have to take. >> kara: you make a good point, i worry about hamas using or attempting to use this as propaganda victory, to say, we are rationale actors on the world stage, look at us being compassionate when the only reason we're here is because of october 7 and their barbarism. i feel like i'm outside my body, my best friend told me when you have a daughter, it is like walking around with your heart outside of your body and that is the case. i am sure you have experienced it. thank you, god, they are home and let's not let hamas do this again. >> biden doesn't get to take credit for this, qatar didn't, israel is responsible for getting the hostages out of gaza. the cost, giving up three palestinian prisoner including teenage males who were convicted of attempted stabings and killings for every one woman or child who was invoweluntarily taken in gaza. it was not a fair swap, israel did that because they care about life and their people. >> kayleigh: the nature of the prisoner swap, only one morally correct side, side of israel. we are staying on top of breaking news in israel, two dozen hamas hostages now former hostages after terrorists released them. that is next as fragile ceasefire in gaza where hundreds more are still being held hostage. a long time ago. and >> that is something they had to do, given the dire conditions, the hostages have been living in the last seven we goes, the government consulted with holocaust survivors talking about what it was like for them when they were released from the holocaust about what the traumas were for them and how the government today could make this transition seamless and painless as possible. some of these children we are learning will be coming home to find out they no longer have families. not these specific children, but children that could be part of the 50. a lot of consultation with different members of the community and having to speak with holocaust survivors knowing there are hostages right now who were in the holocaust, as well. just incredibly traumatic time, millions of people are glued to the tv screens waiting to have more word, more answers and clarity about what is unfolding in front of us. >> kayleigh: thank you very much. you know, kara, one component, first and foremost, taking care of the kids and reuniting them with their family. another component is debriefing, trying to gather intelligence because every second counts for the remaining families. your thoughts? >> kara: yes, i was an intelligence officer for almost a decade, it is critical to help the other hostages going forward. israel has elite units, hope that intel and debrief is good nuggets, good data points for soldiers and operators to go in and prevent more hostages from losing their lives. hope this is a treasure trove of valuable intelligence. >> tammy: with holocaust survivors, there are not many left. it was 78 years ago, if you survived the holocaust, likely you did so as a child. people working now with children understand that likely if they were under 18 or under 10 knowing what their lives were like in the future and what developed and came to be, understanding of what the children will have to expect for the rest of their lives really. >> kayleigh: for the rest of their lives. latest out of israel, idf confirms first set of hostages are back on israeli soil. when moderate to severe ulcerative colitis takes you off course. put it in check with rinvoq, a once-daily pill. when i wanted to see results fast, rinvoq delivered rapid symptom relief and helped leave bathroom urgency behind. check. when uc tried to slow me down... i got lasting, steroid-free remission with rinvoq. check. and when uc caused damage rinvoq came through by visibly repairing my colon lining. check. rapid symptom relief... lasting steroid-free remission... ...and the chance to visibly repair the colon lining. check, check, and check. rinvoq can lower your ability to fight infections, including tb. serious infections and blood clots, some fatal; cancers, including lymphoma and skin cancer; death, heart attack, stroke, and tears in the stomach or intestines occurred. people 50 and older with at least 1 heart disease risk factor have higher risks. don't take if allergic to rinvoq as serious reactions can occur. tell your doctor if you are or may become pregnant. put uc in check and keep it there with rinvoq. ask your gastroenterologist about rinvoq and learn how abbvie can help you save. hi, i'm michael, i've lost 62 pounds on golo and i have kept it off. most of the weight that i gained was strictly in my belly which is a sign of insulin resistance. but since golo, that weight has completely gone away, as you can tell. thanks to golo and release, i've got my life and my health back. this is our last chance to help save thousands of holocaust survivors who are suffering in the former soviet union today. the needs that these forgotten jews have are something beyond anything you can imagine. have you eaten this morning?
