[crowd boos] >> americans are using and that's the point. >> you are just scum. >> peter: that's the first time we have heard scum debate stage. that's as personal as it gets the. those two did not shake hands at the end of the night. back to you. >> steve: when you go after family. peter, you don't have tiktok, do you? >> peter: no. nope. >> steve: why? >> peter: so nobody can go after you, dad and say. [laughter] >> peter: your kid has tiktok. >> ainsley: wait, are you running for president now? >> steve: not yet. not yet. peter, has the white house responded at all to the festivities last night in miami? >> peter: they were more focused on the trump rally last night. and so it seems like they were treating the debate with the other candidates basically the race for second place as more of an after thought. they're really starting to hone in on former president trump and the things that essaying. >> brian: one thing is electric it looks like jill biden's x aide went public on x last night basically blowing up the biden re-election campaign saying basically they haven't done anything. >> steve: just badly. >> brian: larosa. shameful allowed this narrative to congeal over the last two years. the only people help change the people around the president is jill. it's up to her. they are the same people who got him fourth in iowa, fifth in new hampshire, and second in nevada. so, could there be a civil war inside the white house? a message on the outside for people on the inside. what happens going on? >> peter: well, i have known mike larosa for years. is he somebody who is on the inside here, is he well-liked. i mean, they definitely don't probably like what he is saying right now, but, they are in a pickle because, essentially, what mike is complaining about is that there are folks with the re-election campaign, who are playing, essentially a defense. the same strategy as last time. less of biden, let people focus more on trump, and just hope for the best at the end. the age aspect of this president is something they cannot avoid, and there are just two dramatically different approaches. either try to conceal that he is about to be 81 at the end of this month, or just put him out there and hope for the best. >> brian: let jill save him. let jill lead. team talking about bidenomics. is he talking about bidenomics again today. nobody cares, no one is buying it. >> steve: peter, after the election on tuesday, i was reading in axios this morning. apparently second gentleman doug emhoff said last month at an event that their path to victory, biden-harris is dobbs, which is the abortion issue, and democracy. that's their game plan. that's the whole thing. >> peter: if you remember last time it was all about covid. they don't have covid anymore. they have.com up with something else. and, you notice, they are not really leaning in when it comes -- push comes to shove on the economy. they want to talk about abortion. that is something that is getting people out. they see election after election after election, and so former president trump is going to have to come up with a -- something kind of like what we heard nikki haley saying last night. something that can pass. >> brian: gotcha. thanks, peter. steve stay off tiktok. >> lawrence: the president losing right now in arizona. you got him losing in georgia. is he losing in michigan. is he losing in nevada, and he is losing in pennsylvania. he won all of these states the last go around. the only state that he still is maintaining that is a swing state is wisconsin. >> brian: other thing to keep in mind is their strategy is destroy trump. make him the worst person on the planet. i couldn't believe how quick they got to that yesterday on "the view" hillary clinton called him a nazi, calling him hitler, really? so hitler is running for re-election. so their goal, my guy is terrible, but we're going to make your guy unelectable who will destroy the country. i just think people should be aware of that make your own decision. but if someone is going to call somebody else hitler, that's how desperate it is. she doesn't do anything un -- without a reason behind it. >> ainsley: hamas didn't attack israel when he was president. afghanistan did not have the withdrawal when he was president. and russia did not invade ukraine when he was president. he was saying that last night at his rally. back to the abortion issue that republicans are going to have to figure out. nikki haley said i'm pro-life. she said but we don't need to judge beam who are pro-choice. she said i had a roommate in college who was raped. and she was worried that she was pregnant. and i didn't judge her, based on whatever decision she was going to make. >> steve: right. what she has said in the past is she is not behind a national abortion ban. obviously that's not what the supreme court said. they said every state has got to decide it. and last night she said essentially she is for something that would pass. she was asked whether or not she would be behind a 15-week ban. she said i'm behind something that will pass. interestingly enough, if you just are getting up, we had lee carter on a little while ago. about 20 minutes ago. she said, according to the people who watched the event last night over on nbc, the dialers picked nikki haley as the big winner of the event. >> lawrence: the problem that these republican candidates are facing right now is that none of them can really get oxygen. i mean, you got donald trump that is. >> steve: so far ahead. >> lawrence: taking everything out of the room right now. i think ron desantis actually had his best debate performance lawrence. >> ainsley: i thought he did well, too. >> different mommy's he seemed a lot more likeable as he was addressing the policy strong on the issues. but is it enough to get him to win iowa. everyone is talking about kim reynolds endorsement. right now donald trump is still up by 30 points in that state. >> brian: here's the thing, when he is not doing something he is in court. when he is in court everything stops and you look at donald trump. this civil case. terrible for his business, absolutely. >> ainsley: not criminal. >> brian: nobody thinks that he is being treated fairly. nobody. i flip around to the biggest -- they are having trouble with this. because this is a total political hit job on his stuff for inflating things that banks have no problem with. >> lawrence: i'm so sorry, ainsley. >> ainsley: go ahead. >> lawrence: to your point, brian, you are talking about the litigation that's happening. i think these republican candidates that are on the stage are waiting for that big moment with the court case that takes him out of the race. meanwhile, republican voters are saying this is unjust. so, i don't think they are reading the room quite right right now. >> ainsley: several things when i was watching last night you think does this really even matter? approval rating is higher than all of those five people combined. is he going -- he is the frontrunner, no doubt. desantis and haley i thought had winning nights last night for different reasons. she was more defensive. >> she had to be. she defended her daughter. she defended wearing the high heels. and vivek was making fun of the 3-inch high heels she said actually they are 5 inches and i use them to run and i use them as ammunition like i can handle more than just 3 inches. >> brian: don't you think it's just so purge? >> ainsley: it is personal. and he was going after desantis, too. all over social media that he wears the cowboy boots so he looks taller. that was a hit on both of them. no one really cares about that they want to hear the issues. i thought ron desantis did great because he was very measured. >> steve: that's what people want to hear. that's ultimately what goes on with debates. that's why we have dispatched rachel campos-duffy to a diner down in miami to talk to the folks where rachel, do the people think that it was just really personal last night? >> i heard that from several of them. by the way, i'm a 4-inch heel person. so i just wanted to set the record straight on that one. when you are really short, you need that extra inch there. listen, this is very interesting crowd here. the hispanic vote is really turning out to be super competitive. when you put trump and biden together, it's almost 50-50. we have never seen that before in a presidential race. so, a very competitive vote. i have been talking to everyone here. let's gets -- i will give you a feel for where they are at. give me a show of hands if you are for donald trump. i mean, look at that it's almost everybody. how many here were at the rally last night? quite a few were at the rally as well. jose, you were at the debate. >> no. >> rachel: you were at the rally. >> i was watching the debate. >> rachel: tell me what you thought about it. >> i think haley was strong with the abortion topic. and then ron, i liked how he talked about china and how he handles the china stuff. >> rachel: but you are still a trump guy. >> i'm more inclined to haley. >> rachel: you are inclined toward haley. >> between biden and trump i would voted trump 100 percent. >> rachel: all right. we are here with madeline. she is supporting trump? >> yeah i'm a trumper. >> rachel: what did you think of the debate last night? >> i didn't watch it. i didn't watch it. but i have seen them very much. i think that vivek is my second choice. i think he is young. he is vibrant. and i like everything he says. he does what he -- all his actions are, i think that we need in this country the change that he wants. >> rachel: what's the number one issue for you? >> the border. the border scares me. there are so many millions of people here that we don't know who they are. and with all this -- with israel, the problem in israel, palestine, i really think we have to be very careful what happens here. >> rachel: and you became a citizen, what, when you were like 5. >> 5 when i came from cuba. >> rachel: this is important to you. >> yes. i love the united states. i love this country, i'm very thankful for being here. we need to make sure that we keep it the way it was. very american and make america great again for sure. >> rachel: all right. well that gives you a flavor of where people are at here in la carreta, in miami. >> ainsley: thank you so much. >> steve: are you standing on 4-inch heels right now? >> rachel: i am. i'm going to show you. [laughter] >> rachel: 4 inches. >> steve: oh my goodness. look at that. good traction. >> ainsley: thanks, rachel. >> ainsley: 4 inches are great i have 5 inches one pair i have to walk and then put flats on. >> lawrence: only come in two sizes? >> ainsley: no can you have kitten heels. >> carley: i'm a 4 or 5 person. >> ainsley: can you walk in 5. >> carley: do you a lot of standing and sitting in this job. >> lawrence: you are already tall, carley. >> carley: thank you for confirming. >> steve: all the guys are at sea level. >> brian: carley, breaking news? i will check with you later. to a fox news alert now. the u.s. military carried out airstrikes at syrian weapons storage facility. the pentagon says iran used those facilities to stage attacks against american bases in the middle east. >> ainsley: u.s. bases in iraq and syria coming under fire at least 42 times since the start of the war in israel. >> lawrence: idf carrying out major raids on the banks. trey yingst is in israel. >> trey: good morning. i do want to start with that breaking news. we understand right now israeli forces are operating in the west bank city of jeanine. the palestinians say at least 8 palestinians have been killed so far. and there are reports of an israeli drone strike taking place in the west bank. we are working to gather more information on that developing story and we will bring it to you as we get it. here on the ground along the israel-gaza border. we have been watching as israeli forces continue their inside the gaza strip 34 days into this conflict. you can see here just over the border inside gaza. it appears israeli forces may have located another tunnel entrance. they have been trying to destroy hamas above and below ground infrastructure. israelis say overnight with new airstrikes they were able to eliminate the head of hamas' anti-tank missile array. they also targeted juicing the navy, a number of different positions that they say were threatening israeli forces inside the strip. we do know 34 days into the conflict. hamas and islamic jihad for major population centers. we saw some of that fire earlier today sending thousands of israelis to bomb shelters. we should also note that as this is taking place, what you see here on the eastern side of gaza, on the western side of the strip, near the mediterranean sea, israeli forces are working to further surround gaza city and push deeper into the strip. they say overnight they were able to destroy another hamas command center amid heavy battles with the militant group. guys?
