and some trying to climb over the gates with palestinian flags. meanwhile, israel in israel the idf says its iron dome intercepted a drone coming from lebanon earlier today after taking down rockets from gaza overnight. rachel: iran says u.s. would be, quote, hit hard if washington did not implement a cease-fire in gaza but israel is maintaining a cease-fire is not an option. >> we're not going to have a cease-fire with hamas it is leak you having a cease-fire after bombing of pearl harbor and cease-fire with isis it is absurd glad to see the administration is not asking for a cease-fire. jonathon hunt is on the ground with the latest. hey, jonathon. >> hey will rachel, pete good to see you. over the last four hours or so this morning israel paused air strikes to give more civilians in gaza time to head from the north at the center of the war zone down to relative safety at the southern end of gaza and prior to that they made it clear they are not going let up the pressure on hamas. they struck a neighborhood called south of gaza city. now, according to hamas officials, dozens of civilians were killed in that strike. we have no way of confirming those numbers. the idf, of course, has said it only targets hamas terrorists in these air strikes, they have also been pushing forward on the ground in gaza the intense fighting continues around gaza city both aboveground and underground in tunnel networks. that we have talk about so much, meantime anthony blinken has been continuing his diplomatic shuttling around the region. he met today in ramallah with the head of the palestinian authority abbas he told secretary of state that has to be an immediate cease-fire and blink pushed back on that said that the u.s. will not push israel to implement a cease-fire because it agrees with israel that that can only benefit hamas. now, what the secretary blinken did talk to mahmoud abbas is that palestinian authority should be part of solutions in gaza in the future. the problem with that guys, is that the palestinian authority is deeply unpopular among the majority of palestinian right now seen as weak and the u.s. is not seeing as an honest broker. so those two are talking about future of gaza is relatively meaningless to many palestinians. listen here, to moustafa i talked to him in ramallah head of the third party there, the palestinian national initiative and listen to what he had to say about the biden administration. here it is. >> the position of the united states of america including the president and secretary is shameful. why not semicease-fire only country in the world to put a limit to this massacre to this genocide they are the only ones who can restain israel and stop bombardment of gaza they can do it if they want. that's what blinken is told pretty much everywhere he goes outside of israel in this region right now. whether it's egyptians whether it's jordan and turks on his way from meetings with president erdogan right now he's being told that you the united states can force israel into a cease-fire. but secretary of state blinken and president biden, of course, say they do not support a cease-fire because they agree with israel that all that does is give hamas time to reorganize and reposition. will rachel, pete. >> jonathon hundredth thank you very much for that report. all morning long -- let's bring in anchor and our friend shannon bream great to see you. i presume you're in washington there were big protest there. it's amazing to see the chorus of countries and organizations coming out and condemning israel for its response to the terror attacks a month ago. we're starting to see some equivocation from the white house as well. what's the status of support for israel inside the administration right now? >> well, listen you know secretary blinken is overseas seeing critical poangts and he was there talking about pauses and certain areas to let aid through you heard what prime minister benjamin netanyahu said thanks but no thanks and interested to let hostages out otherwise we can't knowing what hamas says and now what hezbollah is saying we can't afford to pause from eradicating hamas threat which basically has gone on to say they're about annihilating israel. here in washington, listen, thousands tens of thousands estimate up to a hundred thousand people were in the streets here yesterday. i was watching a live feed from the state where they had a lot of all are rally going on things they said that was about israel no longers existing thattenedded with the protest you saw at the white house last night, and it was pretty heated. i think that's fair to say, and there was a lot of language we can't show on the air because these, you know, folks that were demonstrating many of them angry at the president. and chanting out thing that would not be welcome i don't think at the white house. but clearly, there is anger on all sides from the folks who want our aid to vale to stop and military aid israel aid to stop from the u.s. and many of the folks in that crowd were saying things that were espousing israel no longer existing. >> i tried hard to see if i saw, you know, protect the civilians, the children -- two states solution, and i couldn't find signs like that. it was there was a lot of this stuff about from the river -- to the sea or, you know, and these sort of slogans as you indicated talk about annihilation of israel. meanwhile obama has been weighing in. i want you to listen to this clip and get your reaction on the other side. >> what hamas did was horrific and there's no justification for it. and what is also true is that the occupation -- and what's happening to palestinians is unbearable. and what is true is that there are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what hamas did. and the problem with the social media and trying to tiktok activism trying to debate this on that -- is you can't speak the truth. you can pretend to speak the truth. you can speak one side of the truth. and so if you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth. and you then have to -- admit nobody's hands are clean. all of us are complicit to some degree. >> i found this so fascinating shannon because you talked about clean hands probably nobody's hands are less clean than his in this with the way that he has enrich and empowered iran which in turn gave money to hamas. >> well listen i think he's right that we should not be trying to describe the nuances you guys have said there's a lot of complexity to this on places like tiktok unprpghtly i think younger generations that numbers tell us that is where they're getting their news. i saw one study that said this week that outpacing of the pro-palestinian post versus pro-israel posts on tiktok something like 30 to one if young people are getting their information there, he's right to say you kangt can't get the full truth in a tiktok post it is not possible and fair to say that, you know, there were people in the crowd yesterday here in washington and other places, that are very upset about civilians who are being caught up in this thing and former president talked about that. current administration is talking about that saying nobody wants civilians caught up in this but that is the nasty ugly disgusting part of war and there was a cease-fire in effect before october 7th. and when hamas came in and did things they did to the israelis, we can expect that they're going to want to have a full throated response. you know we talk about what people come and other countries lecture us after 9/11, to attack it easy, be careful what you're doing, i don't recall hearing any of that and israel is facing what is truly an existential threat now are they doing it with as much precision as possible we hope so. that's what the u.s. is counseling them please be sure you're doing what you can to do to avoid casualties and given advice that a good friend would give them but ultimately this is up to them. will: ept to go to new polls by "new york times" and college five of six swing states all won by joe biden in 2020. in five of the six all except in wisconsin and matchup between joe biden and trump, trump leads and fairly significantly in every one of those states. by 11 points in nevada, by six in georgia, by five in arizona. by five in michigan. pretty stunning, shannon. >> it is. i mean, to look at the margins there as you said nevada ten points, that is -- not good news for the white house, and listen polling has not been good for the white house for a long time because average americans out there tell us everyday americans tell us that economy feels terrible to them. they don't feel like they're safe. they think that border is a mess they don't think this administration is handling foreign policy well. i mean, on nearly every issue other than maybe climate change, this administration is upside down with voters and so people feel in their -- everyday life they can't pay their bills they're worried about their kids, they're worried about their own safety crime and cities all of these things it is tough for the white house to be running a reelection from that view point but clearly that's how people feel these numbers are huge weakup call for them and break them down with our panel on fox news sunday today. >> no doubt who else do you have on fox news sunday? >> mike johnson with us exclusive after full week as speaker he passed stand alone measure and white house dead on arrival and top republicans and democrats say no way so we're talking with him about that also about to run out of money again at the federal level. what's his plan for i had viewing that. we've also got governor mike out of ohio one of the states we're watching this week that has offyear elections they've got marijuana and abortion on the election. on their ballots we'll talk about that and senator jack reed chair of the senate arm service committee he's just back from the middle east. where does he stand on funding issues and what does he think about protest like ones in washington yesterday? >> great show. >> good stuff we'll be watching shannon. >> have a great show. good to see you. pete: we turn to additional headlines starting with a fox news alert. five people are hurt after a late night shooting at a motorcycle rally in galveston, texas. police say shots rang out around 11 p.m. last night. one person is in police custody. but they have not been charged as of now. officers say they're still investigating. maryland govan wess moore hitting the campaign for democrats who are on the ballot this week. >> this election matters because this becomes unique moment for us to make sure that we're showing that we understand the assignment. that we'ring -- willing to fight hard. that we're willing to honor those who came before us -- and we're willing to forge a better path for those who will come after us. >> on tuesday voters will head to the polling booths to vote for virginia state senate seats be on the lookout democrats push wess more prediction roll the tape. >> i don't think they have time this cycle but look 28 and beyond -- he's on their radar screen of national democrats no doubt. and to football -- kansas city chiefs and miami doll fennings set to face off in a couple of hours this morning in frankfurt, germany hosting nfl game for the second time ever. as for the rest of the day, you can watch america's game of the week what's always the game of the week -- >> a big one pete -- pete: 4 p.m. eastern philadelphia eagles taking on will's dallas cowboys in a heated rivalry matchup it is true. it is a big game i will give you that. but you guys are always game the week. will: rare 1:00 game last week. used to that. pete: we live at the 1:00 slot. >> on a plane trying to watch my game every sunday. rachel: you didn't talk about that on your date night last night? will: we talked about a lot of other things. pete: weighty world problems. we went to dinner together and shared cheesecake. >> he had salmon. >> i won't be shamed. >> at a great new york city steak house i've had enough beef -- >> it is like sorority girl move. i would have had the steak. >> i think you come off bad in this. really cowboy? okay. >> had a wonderful conversation -- including sports. >> no sports talking. pete: speaking of a wonderful evening coming up fifth annual fox nation patriot awards november 16th at the grand ole opry house in nashville by with the rib eye. criminals found their target violent and left so bad scrapping plans to open a new store in philly. rachel: amazon founder is fleeing crime ridden city of seattle for low tax miami. jason we love him on all of that next. pete: stage is set for the third gop debate so where are the candidates standing now? and how to debate performances really impact polling. will and i are going exactly! don't delay the game with verizon or t-mobile 5g home internet. catch it on the xfinity 10g network. retail giant tar great scrapping plans to open up a new location in philadelphia. in fact they're shutting nine stores in big cities due to a rise in organized crime and theft last year alone, retailers lost nearly 90 billion dollars to theft. and that number is projected to top 115 billion dollars in thefection few years. democrat run seattle pcc comupght markets become the latest retail to shut its doors two years after opening flag ship and seattle radio host jason joins us now jason seems to be a reality of life in a big city of crime in a big city now come to mean you don't get -- i guess big box big chain stores. >> yeah. and if it is hurting big box stores, understand it is killing the small businesses. and if you don't have thriving small businesses in your city, you're not going to be a thriving city i think everyone understands that. except for the folks on the ground, of course, because what i keep hearing whether it is here in seattle or across the country from progressive leaders that either target is making it up or the concerns are overblown, but when you look at the data it is not overblown at all and some point businesses have to step up and say do i want to put not just my company at risk of constantly losing money but do i want to put the staff members at risk of harm or customers? and they're say nothing. they wouldn't be closing these stores they could allow they will to thrive. >> you know one thing build curious to know we're talking about philadelphia in gun control laws, but to the point you started with, are criminals in -- we laid out this is organized crime and these are largely organized crime rings to some extent not just chaos. are they targeting big box more than mom and pop shops because of the policies of big box stores which is don't intervene let them take whatever they want and might encounter a guy behind a counter at a small shop with a gun says get out. >> yeah i think that's a great point i think there's two issues here so on retail theft organized crime ring you're 100% correct they're going after businesses because they know precisely what the policies are. but on the other hangsd there's also an issue around homelessness, and you've got homeless people going into these stores perhaps where the exact same reason with the policy and they're just shoplifting and then they're selling it so they can, you know, purchase fentanyl for a dollar or two a pill. so that's also what they're doing at the same time. >> all right i want to ask you about this. a story -- out of literally leaving your home state of washington. that's jeff bezos founder of amazon he's leaving seattle and moving to i guess where he grew up which is also -- to the low tax state of florida so miami. >> yeah. he's moving there understand that we just implemented year ago a capital gains tax 7% now he made with moves with amazon stock he retained before capital gain tax went into place and saved 1.1 billion to understand that this might have totally legitimate reasons right that he wants to move closer to family. his blue origins company is doing more work at cape canaveral but at the same time you can't help but wonder if it was easier for him and perhaps for some others to leave. we're already talking about with democrats a wealth tax we're talking about bringing in income tax to washington state. and that's been on the to do list for far left radicals for very long time. it remains unpopular including capital gains tax, but they're moving forward and doing it anyway they have washington state supreme court that is on their side. because in washington state, an income tax is unconstitutional and capital gain tax is income tax but the state supreme court decided to redefine what a capital gain tax and say it is not an income tax so ludicrous we see where it is all going and concern is that once more of the folk like bezos leave well they're still counting on that money to come in from somewhere. which means they're gobbing start hitting other people less wealthy, with their tax increases. >> yeah it's such a death spiral and all of the places like washington or california or new york i know washington doesn't have a quote unquote income taxes it is less in taxes and you get -- i mean zero percent, one percent in tennessee and 0 in florida and a better quality of life than walking down 6th avenue. jason great to see you. >> appreciate it. thanks. will: overnight idf revealing its struck over 2500 terror targets since ground operations started. our next guest is the ceo of the national 9/11 memorial, his message i'm never forgetting october 7th. here we go... it would never happen. and yet we're seeing it today. and it's -- shows this is a fight that israel has to take care of over there. and getting rid of the vermin that is hamas but second at home we have to stand up for moral values about and that's what the project i'm working on is going to do. pete: why are we seeing that difference today protest in support of hamas almost immediately after october 7th here in the united states. >> it is unbelievable just think about the historical parallels, of course, nobody wants innocent people to die. that is tragic. but the fact of the matter is when the world decided that gnat naziism had to go we didn't see mass protest saying civilian casualties priority was remove the threat. israel needs to remove the threat of having terrorist pour over their borders burst into their homes, rape, murder, and abduct and to have people in america their first instinct before israel responded at all was to come out and say, today was a historic victory for the resistance. it is absolutely shocking and we need to do something about it. pete: share with our viewers what you are doing to keep the memory of october 7th alive. >> the way i say it is keeping the memory alive but it is using that as spring board to action this project that ties that binged initiative is recognizing that whether you're on the right or left or muslim, christian or jew, there are dna ties that bring us together. about what is right in this world, standing up for humanity so we need to create this massive mega phone that shows people across the cultural spectrum standing up and being a huge counterbalance to the awful messages and awful groupings that we're seeing in the pro-hamas protest like we saw yesterday in d.c.. pete: you have a lot of work to do because you look at tiktok and social media it is overwhelmingly anti-israel and pro-palestinian. >> that's right. it is going to be hard but it can be done, i mean, the complexity after 9/11 when you had so much you know the emotional politics, the challenges of construction, it's going to be hard. but i know we can do it. it is too important not to. pete: also you're involved part of the 9/11 museum part of the medal of honor museum that's being -- constructed in texas as well, right? >> i was there for a number of years and moved project to arlington, texas. they have an incredible board chair charlotte jones chief brand officer of the cowboys incredible board of medal honor and recipients a wonderful new ceo chris cassidy that is happening and going to be a precious gift for the nation honoring the very few melings of honor suspects that are still alive. >> is there a website folks check out or anything for your current project? >> it is being built right now so updates very, very soon but it is called ties that binged project and we're looking for, you know -- average public citizens to corporations, to come together and say -- we have to stand up for humanity and that's what it is going to do. >> tieing that binged and when you have that website share with our viewers. appreciate it. thanks youssef. all right coming up, anti-semitic attitudes in america far left anti-israel protesters hold marches and spew hate. critics say this will just push jewish americans toward the gop. will it? the political impact still ahead. plus, the stage is set for the third republican debate. so how will the kains match up? who is on the stage and how has their performances in previous debates helped or hurt them? and take a look at what happens next three days. still by tuesday, over 200 million people above average temperatures. it is going to feel really nice west coast, different story you've been really cool with a lot of moisture. going to start to get a big warmup to happen across the midwest watch what happens across the west big rain, big mountain snow and starts midday. this is going to be the last one out of a series of storms and then we're going watch this across parts of the south. this is wednesday, thursday rain starts to move in here. not going to be a big washout but this storm and rain in texas and even parts of louisiana very beneficial. all right pete over to you. pete: thank you, rick. all right the third republican primary debate is this wednesday. and since the first debate a lot has -- some things have changed in the polls. that's right some things. will: underneath the front runner take closer look at fox news power rankings compared to months ago and how candidate performances may have have contributed to their rise or decline and take a look at where we stand today fox news power rankings as they classify you've got the clear front runner, in donald trump who pete is polling number of 50% approaching 60% in some polls. pete: has not participated in the first two debates and hasn't hurt him one bit. displil that's a lot of conversation as to who falls into second. challengers right now is between for second place nikki haley and pete what we talked about yesterday is you have nikki haley has surpassed ron desantis in new hampshire and south carolina and polled into a tie in iowa. anything a big play to say early states that clears the rest of this out. and maybe makes it a race for -- with two different people to potentially try to challenge donald trump. and then you've got -- will: still on the roadways all three of the individuals vivek ramaswamy tim scott and chris christie. pete: and then outsiders we were -- we dongt know who this guy is. do you know? will: we asked we were like -- we're not trying to be rude, ryan. we didn't know. like this is ryan binkly a texas pastor probably a good guy. maybe a great guy. >> maybe awesome dude but late in the race for just facial recognition. but so -- that ranking system a little different than what you would have seen in august. we're goapg talk about this candidate by candidate by tom scott no longer considered a contender as he was in august, and then you've got a number of people in here no longer in the race as well. will: larry elder francis suarez and will these asia hangs on to outsider status for months but mike pence -- pete: former vice president said i want to run to iowa couldn't get there. will: what's the change between then and now and focus on few candidates let's look at ron desantis you know, slight variation .2% but pretty much stayed in the same range pete from the beginning of the launch to now, it is always been polling right many this vicinity. >> we've been a part of the fox nation -- debate analysis with each of these and in each performance in the debate it was kind of like good moments not so good moments. he didn't really hurt himself but he didn't help himself either that doesn't surprise you don't see much movement after the debates from him. will: yeah. 69% favorability rating in iowa voters which is great. but when you're forced to choose that's what this number reflects. it is the choices largely going to donald trump. pete: very much so. speaking of donald trump, desantis kind of switched up his approach in second debate and said hey i'm going to call out trump see if that works for me here's what he said. >> where is joe biden he's completely missing in action from leadership. and you know who else is missing in action? donald trump is missing in action. he should be on this stage tonight. he owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7 .8 trillion to the debt. pete: talk to the trump campaign they said hey why submit yourself to that incoming fire on a debate stage when the people have put you so far ahead to again with? and obviously guy like ron desantis want on the stage and not there in miami. will: you made an interesting point yesterday i talked it on the podcast goes up tomorrow and arguing with gafn gavin newsom running shadow campaign might have been the path to greater success for ron desantis. pete: people -- will: instead of the buzz saw. pete: love him as a governor of florida and headlong into biggest in a generation and hapght worked unfortunately hurt his popularity with a lot of people and probably not going to be the nominee what happens next for him after that? but stayed in florida and said look over here i'm great and if you need me put me in coach. incase something happens. will: it is an alternate universe we'll never know the anxious to that. nicky haley has seen movement in her numbers but a plus 4.4% we had this debate yesterday here on fox and friends why she's seen a rise, and we basically came down to two reasons. one with the war in the middle east she's been the most full throated -- i think it is fair to say ne-yo conservative voice. and there's still a wing of the republican party that wants to hear that. i think that's a fair analysis. the other is -- if ron delaware san it is isn't gathering up anti-trump vote within the republican party, they may have flowed oh to nikki haley. pete: she's aggressive in debates no doubt, and the one -- the one person we have not talk that much about so far is vivek ramaswamy who had big moments in debates but also been a big foil for nikki haley in those debates easy well which some believe helped her. he's a portion of how nicky haley talked about security concerns you're talking about also vivek ramaswamy. >> this is infuriating because tiktok is one of the most dangerous social media apps that we could have, and what you've got -- i honestly every time i hear you i feel dumber for what you say you were in business with dhiens gave hunter biden 5 million dollar we can't trust you. we can't trust you. >> so -- interesting it will be more oxygen for every candidate in miami because a lot of these candidates haven't made debate and vivek ramaswamy has you'll see even more of those changes. >> and then there's tim scott down to 1.6% i believe -- right now which is a drop of 2.1% since first debate he's really caught pete in a difficult position. and in the first debate people thought he's not even there and in second debate he tried to correct that and ended up interrupting a lot and didn't really work for him on gaining appeal. >> there's been hope for him and universal preeshes for tim scott his story -- just -- his optimistic and positive tone not attempted to take on trump the way that desantis has, but he hasn't caught on in the process so one of the things you rock it out the gates or you don't. will: that positivitity is reflected desantis did we have haley number up here it was similar -- all favorable ratings is high not a huge rejection in iowa for any one of the kaipghts but a matter of preference. pete: no doubt. exchange between tim scott and nirk can i haley both from south carolina both looking at that state as one where they can gain traction from the second debate. >> we've lost 100,000 factories, 100,000 factories in the last 25 years if we continue to made in america plan we can bring jobs back to america. >> i appreciate tim we've known each other a long team but he's been there 12 years and he hasn't done any of that. they've only given four budgets on time in 40 years he was part that have. >> you know, one of the biggest take aways from being watched this is undercard debate again no donald trump undercard debate i think interest is going to continue to wane and influence of the debate is going to continue to wane. because the fundamental premise of every candidacy right now underneath donald trump is counting on the efficacy of indictments at this pongt numbers aren't there. you're too far behind it has to be a fall from donald trump. with an indictment being effect i have i think republican base doesn't like that either. you're counting on this -- this deep state taking through law fair taking donald trump down to be the candidate. will: i was going to say with americans on edge as college campuses become a human being of anti-semitic protest including harvard. professor alan a democrat warns this hurts his party. in an on etd he says, quote, democratic party now faces a choice, the hamas atrocities of october 7th have forever fractured any political alliance between centrist and liberal jokes and woke progressives it is either them or us. journalist joins us now batya great to have you on you're the perfect guest so alan says policies more importantly the attitudes in the progressive movement some of the signaging that we've seen you know at the major yesterday that seem anti-semitic that this may become unhealable. politically -- >> yeah. thank you so much for having me rachel. thank you for your incredible courage at this time and thank you to everybody at fox news every producer, every writer. you guys have been incredible in a sea of anti-semitic media and bigotry so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart yeah speaking of signs i was joking with a friend over shabbat they need a new sign in this house we trust science no human is illegal and kill the jews right, i mean, that's what we're seeing professor is absolutely correct that the progressive movement is teachly deeply anti-semitic and tlaib defending chant from the river to sea why anyone would pick that on the hill to die on and even president obama out there with a clip yesterday with absolute moral equivalency between hamas and disgusting stuff. but what i have to say rachel is where i disagree with both professor is this is not about jews. this is about the american people and the american people will never accept anti-semitism it is a slander or this great nation to think that any political party that counted anti-semitism has a shot here with any good hearted americans and just a tiny piece of proof rachel they asked americans who do they think it responsible for this civilian casualties in gaza? guess what rachel, just 13% of americans said israel is responsible. 63% said hamas is responsible and the rest just didn't know and so -- i feel very sure that this country will not accept this progressive movement with its disgusting anti-semitism anti-israel sentiments we're going to see the unity of the american people and good heartedness of the american people prevail. rachel: i love that you're expanding this out beyond, you know -- muslim versus jews but an american issue and we have a lot to say as americans. and these poll numbers that you -- have put forward are very -- indicative of that. you know, one of the questions i've always had i know you've had this conversation with my husband on his show once where he asked you, because he was a member of congress and felt like so many republican policies were very pro-israel. and so many of his democrat colleagues either weren't pro-israel or, you know, policies were a little bit more wishy washy in that way he said why are so many democrats to begin with and that might be something that viewers might be wondering about. >> yeah. i mean number one predictor of whether an american is a progressive or a democrat whether they've gone to college it is class divide a lot of american jews go to college so theyened up democrats. >> really fast i have a couple of seconds do you think there's liberal voting jewish americans who will vote republican or on abstain? >> we own a debt of gratitude of biden for ignoring them but i think president trump policy, obviously, was the right one in this case and he's the direction for america -- >> thank you batya.do we wil wl be right back. like a comfort with the kiddos. spacious! that's what they all say. when my doctor gave me breztri for my copd things changed for me. breztri gave me better and some trying to climb over the gates with palestinian flags. meanwhile, israel in israel the idf says its iron dome intercepted a drone coming from lebanon earlier today after taking down rockets from gaza overnight. rachel: iran says u.s. would be, quote, hit hard if washington did not implement a cease-fire in gaza but israel is maintaining a cease-fire is not an option. >> we're not going to have a cease-fire with hamas it is leak you having a cease-fire after bombing of pearl harbor and cease-fire with isis it is absurd glad to see the administration is not asking for a cease-fire. jonathon hunt is on the ground with the latest. hey, jonathon. >> hey will rachel, pete good to see you. over the last four hours or so this morning israel paused air strikes to give more civilians in gaza time to head from the north at the center of the war zone down to relative safety at the southern end of gaza and prior to that they made it clear they are not going let up the pressure on hamas. they struck a neighborhood called south of gaza city. now, according to hamas officials, dozens of civilians were killed in that strike. we have no way of confirming those numbers. the idf, of course, has said it only targets hamas terrorists in these air strikes, they have also been pushing forward on the ground in gaza the intense fighting continues around gaza city both aboveground and underground in tunnel networks. that we have talk about so much, meantime anthony blinken has been continuing his diplomatic shuttling around the region. he met today in ramallah with the head of the palestinian authority abbas he told secretary of state that has to be an immediate cease-fire and blink pushed back on that said that the u.s. will not push israel to implement a cease-fire because it agrees with israel that that can only benefit hamas. now, what the secretary blinken did talk to mahmoud abbas is that palestinian authority should be part of solutions in gaza in the future. the problem with that guys, is that the palestinian authority is deeply unpopular among the majority of palestinian right now seen as weak and the u.s. is not seeing as an honest broker. so those two are talking about future of gaza is relatively meaningless to many palestinians. listen here, to moustafa i talked to him in ramallah head of the third party there, the palestinian national initiative and listen to what he had to say about the biden administration. here it is. >> the position of the united states of america including the president and secretary is shameful. why not semicease-fire only country in the world to put a limit to this massacre to this genocide they are the only ones who can restain israel and stop bombardment of gaza they can do it if they want. that's what blinken is told pretty much everywhere he goes outside of israel in this region right now. whether it's egyptians whether it's jordan and turks on his way from meetings with president erdogan right now he's being told that you the united states can force israel into a cease-fire. but secretary of state blinken and president biden, of course, say they do not support a cease-fire because they agree with israel that all that does is give hamas time to reorganize and reposition. will rachel, pete. >> jonathon hundredth thank you very much for that report. all morning long -- let's bring in anchor and our friend shannon bream great to see you. i presume you're in washington there were big protest there. it's amazing to see the chorus of countries and organizations coming out and condemning israel for its response to the terror attacks a month ago. we're starting to see some equivocation from the white house as well. what's the status of support for israel inside the administration right now? >> well, listen you know secretary blinken is overseas seeing critical poangts and he was there talking about pauses and certain areas to let aid through you heard what prime minister benjamin netanyahu said thanks but no thanks and interested to let hostages out otherwise we can't knowing what hamas says and now what hezbollah is saying we can't afford to pause from eradicating hamas threat which basically has gone on to say they're about annihilating israel. here in washington, listen, thousands tens of thousands estimate up to a hundred thousand people were in the streets here yesterday. i was watching a live feed from the state where they had a lot of all are rally going on things they said that was about israel no longers existing thattenedded with the protest you saw at the white house last night, and it was pretty heated. i think that's fair to say, and there was a lot of language we can't show on the air because these, you know, folks that were demonstrating many of them angry at the president. and chanting out thing that would not be welcome i don't think at the white house. but clearly, there is anger on all sides from the folks who want our aid to vale to stop and military aid israel aid to stop from the u.s. and many of the folks in that crowd were saying things that were espousing israel no longer existing. >> i tried hard to see if i saw, you know, protect the civilians, the children -- two states solution, and i couldn't find signs like that. it was there was a lot of this stuff about from the river -- to the sea or, you know, and these sort of slogans as you indicated talk about annihilation of israel. meanwhile obama has been weighing in. i want you to listen to this clip and get your reaction on the other side. >> what hamas did was horrific and there's no justification for it. and what is also true is that the occupation -- and what's happening to palestinians is unbearable. and what is true is that there are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what hamas did. and the problem with the social media and trying to tiktok activism trying to debate this on that -- is you can't speak the truth. you can pretend to speak the truth. you can speak one side of the truth. and so if you want to solve the problem, then you have to take in the whole truth. and you then have to -- admit nobody's hands are clean. all of us are complicit to some degree. >> i found this so fascinating shannon because you talked about clean hands probably nobody's hands are less clean than his in this with the way that he has enrich and empowered iran which in turn gave money to hamas. >> well listen i think he's right that we should not be trying to describe the nuances you guys have said there's a lot of complexity to this on places like tiktok unprpghtly i think younger generations that numbers tell us that is where they're getting their news. i saw one study that said this week that outpacing of the pro-palestinian post versus pro-israel posts on tiktok something like 30 to one if young people are getting their information there, he's right to say you kangt can't get the full truth in a tiktok post it is not possible and fair to say that, you know, there were people in the crowd yesterday here in washington and other places, that are very upset about civilians who are being caught up in this thing and former president talked about that. current administration is talking about that saying nobody wants civilians caught up in this but that is the nasty ugly disgusting part of war and there was a cease-fire in effect before october 7th. and when hamas came in and did things they did to the israelis, we can expect that they're going to want to have a full throated response. you know we talk about what people come and other countries lecture us after 9/11, to attack it easy, be careful what you're doing, i don't recall hearing any of that and israel is facing what is truly an existential threat now are they doing it with as much precision as possible we hope so. that's what the u.s. is counseling them please be sure you're doing what you can to do to avoid casualties and given advice that a good friend would give them but ultimately this is up to them. will: ept to go to new polls by "new york times" and college five of six swing states all won by joe biden in 2020. in five of the six all except in wisconsin and matchup between joe biden and trump, trump leads and fairly significantly in every one of those states. by 11 points in nevada, by six in georgia, by five in arizona. by five in michigan. pretty stunning, shannon. >> it is. i mean, to look at the margins there as you said nevada ten points, that is -- not good news for the white house, and listen polling has not been good for the white house for a long time because average americans out there tell us everyday americans tell us that economy feels terrible to them. they don't feel like they're safe. they think that border is a mess they don't think this administration is handling foreign policy well. i mean, on nearly every issue other than maybe climate change, this administration is upside down with voters and so people feel in their -- everyday life they can't pay their bills they're worried about their kids, they're worried about their own safety crime and cities all of these things it is tough for the white house to be running a reelection from that view point but clearly that's how people feel these numbers are huge weakup call for them and break them down with our panel on fox news sunday today. >> no doubt who else do you have on fox news sunday? >> mike johnson with us exclusive after full week as speaker he passed stand alone measure and white house dead on arrival and top republicans and democrats say no way so we're talking with him about that also about to run out of money again at the federal level. what's his plan for i had viewing that. we've also got governor mike out of ohio one of the states we're watching this week that has offyear elections they've got marijuana and abortion on the election. on their ballots we'll talk about that and senator jack reed chair of the senate arm service committee he's just back from the middle east. where does he stand on funding issues and what does he think about protest like ones in washington yesterday? >> great show. >> good stuff we'll be watching shannon. >> have a great show. good to see you. pete: we turn to additional headlines starting with a fox news alert. five people are hurt after a late night shooting at a motorcycle rally in galveston, texas. police say shots rang out around 11 p.m. last night. one person is in police custody. but they have not been charged as of now. officers say they're still investigating. maryland govan wess moore hitting the campaign for democrats who are on the ballot this week. >> this election matters because this becomes unique moment for us to make sure that we're showing that we understand the assignment. that we'ring -- willing to fight hard. that we're willing to honor those who came before us -- and we're willing to forge a better path for those who will come after us. >> on tuesday voters will head to the polling booths to vote for virginia state senate seats be on the lookout democrats push wess more prediction roll the tape. >> i don't think they have time this cycle but look 28 and beyond -- he's on their radar screen of national democrats no doubt. and to football -- kansas city chiefs and miami doll fennings set to face off in a couple of hours this morning in frankfurt, germany hosting nfl game for the second time ever. as for the rest of the day, you can watch america's game of the week what's always the game date night last night? will: we talked about a lot of other things. pete: weighty world problems. we went to dinner together and shared cheesecake. >> he had salmon. >> i won't be shamed. >> at a great new york city steak house i've had enough beef -- >> it is like sorority girl move. i would have had the steak. >> i think you come off bad in this. really cowboy? okay. >> had a wonderful conversation -- including sports. >> no sports talking. pete: speaking of a wonderful evening coming up fifth annual fox nation patriot awards november 16th at the grand ole opry house in nashville by and they're say nothing. they wouldn't be closing these stores they could allow they will to thrive. >> you know one thing build curious to know we're talking about philadelphia in gun control laws, but to the point you started with, are criminals in -- we laid out this is organized crime and these are largely organized crime rings to some extent not just chaos. are they targeting big box more than mom and pop shops because of the policies of big box stores which is don't intervene let them take whatever they want and might encounter a guy behind a counter at a small shop with a gun says get out. >> yeah i think that's a great point i think there's two issues here so on retail theft organized crime ring you're 100% correct they're going after businesses because they know precisely what the policies are. but on the other hangsd there's also an issue around homelessness, and you've got homeless people going into these stores perhaps where the exact same reason with the policy and they're just shoplifting and then they're selling it so they can, you know, purchase fentanyl for a dollar or two a pill. so that's also what they're doing at the same time. >> all right i want to ask you about this. a story -- out of literally leaving your home state of washington. that's jeff bezos founder of amazon he's leaving seattle and moving to i guess where he grew up which is also -- to the low tax state of florida so miami. >> yeah. he's moving there understand that we just implemented year ago a capital gains tax 7% now he made with moves with amazon stock he retained before capital gain tax went into place and saved 1.1 billion to understand that this might have totally legitimate reasons right that he wants to move closer to family. his blue origins company is doing more work at cape canaveral but at the same time you can't help but wonder if it was easier for him and perhaps for some others to leave. we're already talking about with democrats a wealth tax we're talking about bringing in income tax to washington state. and that's been on the to do list for far left radicals for very long time. it remains unpopular including capital gains tax, but they're moving forward and doing it anyway they have washington state supreme court that is on their side. because in washington state, an income tax is unconstitutional and capital gain tax is income tax but the state supreme court decided to redefine what a capital gain tax and say it is not an income tax so ludicrous we see where it is all going and concern is that once more of the folk like bezos leave well they're still counting on that money to come in from somewhere. which means they're gobbing start hitting other people less wealthy, with their tax increases. >> yeah it's such a death spiral and all of the places like washington or california or new york i know washington doesn't have a quote unquote income taxes it is less in taxes and you get -- i mean zero percent, one percent in tennessee and 0 in florida and a better quality of life than walking down 6th avenue. jason great to see you. >> appreciate it. thanks. will: overnight idf revealing its struck over 2500 terror targets since ground operations started. our next guest is the ceo of the national 9/11 memorial, his message i'm never forgetting october 7th. here we go... it would never happen. and yet we're seeing it today. and it's -- shows this is a fight that israel has to take care of over there. and getting rid of the vermin that is hamas but second at home we have to stand up for moral values about and that's what the project i'm working on is going to do. pete: why are we seeing that difference today protest in support of hamas almost immediately after october 7th here in the united states. >> it is unbelievable just think about the historical parallels, of course, nobody wants innocent people to die. that is tragic. but the fact of the matter is when the world decided that gnat naziism had to go we didn't see mass protest saying civilian casualties priority was remove the threat. israel needs to remove the threat of having terrorist pour over their borders burst into their homes, rape, murder, and abduct and to have people in america their first instinct before israel responded at all was to come out and say, today was a historic victory for the resistance. it is absolutely shocking and we need to do something about it. pete: share with our viewers what you are doing to keep the memory of october 7th alive. >> the way i say it is keeping the memory alive but it is using that as spring board to action this project that ties that binged initiative is recognizing that whether you're on the right or left or muslim, christian or jew, there are dna ties that bring us together. about what is right in this world, standing up for humanity so we need to create this massive mega phone that shows people across the cultural spectrum standing up and being a huge counterbalance to the awful messages and awful groupings that we're seeing in the pro-hamas protest like we saw yesterday in d.c.. pete: you have a lot of work to do because you look at tiktok and social media it is overwhelmingly anti-israel and pro-palestinian. >> that's right. it is going to be hard but it can be done, i mean, the complexity after 9/11 when you had so much you know the emotional politics, the challenges of construction, it's going to be hard. but i know we can do it. it is too important not to. pete: also you're involved part of the 9/11 museum part of the medal of honor museum that's being -- constructed in texas as well, right? >> i was there for a number of years and moved project to arlington, texas. they have an incredible board chair charlotte jones chief brand officer of the cowboys incredible board of medal honor and recipients a wonderful new ceo chris cassidy that is happening and going to be a precious gift for the nation honoring the very few melings of honor suspects that are still alive. >> is there a website folks check out or anything for your current project? >> it is being built right now so updates very, very soon but it is called ties that binged project and we're looking for, you know -- average public citizens to corporations, to come together and say -- we have to stand up for humanity and that's what it is going to do. >> tieing that binged and when you have that website share with our viewers. appreciate it. thanks youssef. all right coming up, anti-semitic attitudes in america far left anti-israel protesters hold marches and spew hate. critics say this will just push jewish americans toward the gop. will it? and take a look at what happens next three days. still by tuesday, over 200 million people above average temperatures. it is going to feel really nice west coast, different story you've been really cool with a lot of moisture. going to start to get a big warmup to happen across the midwest watch what happens across the west big rain, big mountain snow and starts midday. this is going to be the last one out of a series of storms and then we're going watch this across parts of the south. this is wednesday, thursday rain starts to move in here. not going to be a big washout but this storm and rain in texas and even parts of louisiana very beneficial. all right pete over to you. pete: thank you, rick. all right the third republican primary debate is this wednesday. and since the first debate a lot has -- some things have changed in the polls. that's right some things. will: underneath the front runner take closer look at fox news power rankings compared to months ago and how candidate performances may have have contributed to their rise or decline and take a look at where we stand today fox news power rankings as they classify you've got the clear front runner, in donald trump who pete is polling number of 50% approaching 60% in some polls. pete: has not participated in the first two debates and hasn't hurt him one bit. displil that's a lot of conversation as to who falls into second. challengers right now is between for second place nikki haley and pete what we talked about yesterday is you have nikki haley has surpassed ron desantis in new hampshire and south carolina and polled into a tie in iowa. anything a big play to say early states that clears the rest of this out. and maybe makes it a race for -- with two different people to potentially try to challenge donald trump. and then you've got -- will: still on the roadways all three of the individuals vivek ramaswamy tim scott and chris christie. pete: and then outsiders we were -- we dongt know who this guy is. do you know? will: we asked we were like -- we're not trying to be rude, ryan. we didn't know. like this is ryan binkly a texas pastor probably a good guy. maybe a great guy. >> maybe awesome dude but late in the race for just facial recognition. but so -- that ranking system a little different than what you would have seen in august. we're goapg talk about this candidate by candidate by tom scott no longer considered a contender as he was in august, and then you've got a number of people in here no longer in the race as well. will: larry elder francis suarez and will these asia hangs on to outsider status for months but mike pence -- pete: former vice president said i want to run to iowa couldn't get there. will: what's the change between then and now and focus on few candidates let's look at ron desantis you know, slight variation .2% but pretty much stayed in the same range pete from the beginning of the launch to now, it is always been polling right many this vicinity. >> we've been a part of the fox nation -- debate analysis with each of these and in each performance in the debate it was kind of like good moments not so good moments. he didn't really hurt himself but he didn't help himself either that doesn't surprise you don't see much movement after the debates from him. will: yeah. 69% favorability rating in iowa voters which is great. but when you're forced to choose that's what this number reflects. it is the choices largely going to donald trump. pete: very much so. speaking of donald trump, desantis kind of switched up his approach in second debate and said hey i'm going to call out trump see if that works for me here's what he said. >> where is joe biden he's completely missing in action from leadership. and you know who else is missing in action? donald trump is missing in action. he should be on this stage tonight. he owes it to you to defend his record where they added 7 .8 trillion to the debt. pete: talk to the trump campaign they said hey why submit yourself to that incoming fire on a debate stage when the people have put you so far ahead to again with? and obviously guy like ron desantis want on the stage and not there in miami. will: you made an interesting point yesterday i talked it on the podcast goes up tomorrow and arguing with gafn gavin newsom running shadow campaign might have been the path to greater success for ron desantis. pete: people -- will: instead of the buzz saw. pete: love him as a governor of florida and headlong into biggest in a generation and hapght worked unfortunately hurt his popularity with a lot of people and probably not going to be the nominee what happens next for him after that? but stayed in florida and said look over here i'm great and if you need me put me in coach. incase something happens. will: it is an alternate universe we'll never know the anxious to that. nicky haley has seen movement in her numbers but a plus 4.4% we had this debate yesterday here on fox and friends why she's seen a rise, and we basically came down to two reasons. one with the war in the middle east she's been the most full throated -- i think it is fair to say ne-yo conservative voice. and there's still a wing of the republican party that wants to hear that. i think that's a fair analysis. the other is -- if ron delaware san it is isn't gathering up anti-trump vote within the republican party, they may have flowed oh to nikki haley. pete: she's aggressive in debates no doubt, and the one -- the one person we have not talk that much about so far is vivek ramaswamy who had big moments in debates but also been a big foil for nikki haley in those debates easy well which some believe helped her. he's a portion of how nicky haley talked about security concerns you're talking about also vivek ramaswamy. >> this is infuriating because tiktok is one of the most dangerous social media apps that we could have, and what you've got -- i honestly every time i hear you i feel dumber for what you say you were in business with dhiens gave hunter biden 5 million dollar we can't trust you. we can't trust you. >> so -- interesting it will be more oxygen for every candidate in miami because a lot of these candidates haven't made debate and vivek ramaswamy has you'll see even more of those changes. >> and then there's tim scott down to 1.6% i believe -- right now which is a drop of 2.1% since first debate he's really caught pete in a difficult position. and in the first debate people thought he's not even there and in second debate he tried to correct that and ended up interrupting a lot and didn't really work for him on gaining appeal. >> there's been hope for him and universal preeshes for tim scott his story -- just -- his optimistic and positive tone not attempted to take on trump the way that desantis has, but he hasn't caught on in the process so one of the things you rock it out the gates or you don't. will: that positivitity is reflected desantis did we have haley number up here it was similar -- all favorable ratings is high not a huge rejection in iowa for any one of the kaipghts but a matter of preference. pete: no doubt. exchange between tim scott and nirk can i haley both from south carolina both looking at that state as one where they can gain traction from the second debate. >> we've lost 100,000 factories, 100,000 factories in the last 25 years if we continue to made in america plan we can bring jobs back to america. >> i appreciate tim we've known each other a long team but he's been there 12 years and he hasn't done any of that. they've only given four budgets on time in 40 years he was part that have. >> you know, one of the biggest take aways from being watched this is undercard debate again no donald trump undercard debate i think interest is going to continue to wane and influence of the debate is going to continue to wane. because the fundamental premise of every candidacy right now underneath donald trump is counting on the efficacy of indictments at this pongt numbers aren't there. you're too far behind it has to be a fall from donald trump. with an indictment being effect i have i think republican base doesn't like that either. you're counting on this -- this deep state taking through law fair taking donald trump down to be the candidate. will: i was going to say with potential they're banking on some type of retail political surprise in early state like iowa. pete: correct. will: if i can win a few caucuses in iowa and top three i've become alternative. pete: strong second and then field consolidatings then still when trump is at 50 and 60% it becomes more difficult to see how that changes. will: pete will host fox nations debate coverage this wednesday. well i'll be a guest i'll be your side kick. so will rachel by the way so a lot like fox and friends. >> and joey basically it is fox and friends. all of your side kick on debate night. pete: you know to know what we think tune in fox nation we'll be there with you. now we have some headlines and ting goes up to rachel. rachel: it does. that's going to be a fun -- debate. house debate -- group there. so thanks guys. >> you bet. rachel: okay we begin your headlines with this, armed robbery suspect is dead after officers say he opened fire inside a philadelphia pizza shop yesterday according to police two armed men entering georgia pizza shop attempting to rob when a gunfight broke out leaving one of the suspects dead. police are still looking for the second suspect. immigration courts are sounding alarm as more than two and a half million cases. are piling up -- one judge warning there just isn't enough judges or staff to handle crisis as thousands of migrantings head to devin from southern border. he says some migrants could receive temporary status such as a work permit and others will just be granted asylum and those are your headlines. coming up, the student who helped derail a fifth circuit judges speech at stanford is reportedly choosing the next law school dean that's right -- that story is up ahead. plus as far left anti-israel protesters hold marches and spew hate, critics say this could push jewish americans over to the gop. we're going analyze that political impact, next. to severe rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. with my psoriatic arthritis symptoms. but americans on edge as college campuses become a human being of anti-semitic protest including harvard. professor alan a democrat warns this hurts his party. in an on etd he says, quote, democratic party now faces a choice, the hamas atrocities of october 7th have forever fractured any political alliance between centrist and liberal jokes and woke progressives it is either them or us. journalist joins us now batya great to have you on you're the perfect guest so alan says policies more importantly the attitudes in the progressive movement some of the signaging that we've seen you know at the major yesterday that seem anti-semitic that this may become unhealable. politically -- >> yeah. thank you so much for having me rachel. thank you for your incredible courage at this time and thank you to everybody at fox news every producer, every writer. you guys have been incredible in a sea of anti-semitic media and bigotry so thank you so much from the bottom of my heart yeah speaking of signs i was joking with a friend over shabbat they need a new sign in this house we trust science no human is illegal and kill the jews right, i mean, that's what we're seeing professor is absolutely correct that the progressive movement is teachly deeply anti-semitic and tlaib defending chant from the river to sea why anyone would pick that on the hill to die on and even president obama out there with a clip yesterday with absolute moral equivalency between hamas and disgusting stuff. but what i have to say rachel is where i disagree with both professor is this is not about jews. this is about the american people and the american people will never accept anti-semitism it is a slander or this great nation to think that any political party that counted anti-semitism has a shot here with any good hearted americans and just a tiny piece of proof rachel they asked americans who do they think it responsible for this civilian casualties in gaza? guess what rachel, just 13% of americans said israel is responsible. 63% said hamas is responsible and the rest just didn't know and so -- i feel very sure that this country will not accept this progressive movement with its disgusting anti-semitism anti-israel sentiments we're going to see the unity of the american people and good heartedness of the american people prevail. rachel: i love that you're expanding this out beyond, you know -- muslim versus jews but an american issue and we have a lot to say as americans. and these poll numbers that you -- have put forward are very -- indicative of that. you know, one of the questions i've always had i know you've had this conversation with my husband on his show once where he asked you, because he was a member of congress and felt like so many republican policies were very pro-israel. and so many of his democrat colleagues either weren't pro-israel or, you know, policies were a little bit more wishy washy in that way he said why are so many democrats to begin with and that might be something that viewers might be wondering about. >> yeah. i mean number one predictor of whether an american is a progressive or a democrat whether they've gone to college it is class divide a lot of american jews go to college so theyened up democrats. >> really fast i have a couple of seconds do you think there's liberal voting jewish americans who will vote republican or on abstain? >> we own a debt of gratitude of biden for ignoring them but i think president trump policy, obviously, was the right one in this case and he's the direction for america -- >> thank you
