They protest against the palestinians because they help the hamas and theyre supporters to keep this cycle that hurts and harms the palestinians for many, many years and we want to see the palestinians thrive and prosper and live in safety keeping our families, our children and women and adults in captivity there will not make any progress for palestinians and just hold them back and the protesters think they help something. They just keep and its been going on for many, many decades and im old enough ho hear that and see that. Steve adele, you were in a safe room and luckily they could not get in and you could hear them speaking arabic on the other side of the ball and a number of people in your kibbutz were murdered in cold blood and youre here to tell america what about those people . Some people say it never happened. You know, im americanborn, i was an educator for four decades, and i appreciate the Education System in america, and i expect the American Students to be intelligent enough to listen to the truth and not to be led by propaganda, by Pop List Ick Propaganda because the people in my community captured and murdered, they were grandmothers, they were children, they were this is not a war, these are not soldiers. Good morning. Ainsley tell us the story of your father and mother. My mother and father were two complete opposite people and surprise their marriage didnt last and i havent spoken to her in around 20 years and not sure if shes one of the people Celebrating Hamas right now. Shes a scholar at the university in egypt and shes viciously antisemitic. Its quite common to be antisemitic when youre from egypt or from any other muslim majority countries. My father on the other hand was not. He was very he was a humanist, he was very he was not antijew. He had many criticisms of the israeli government, especially netanyahu, but he did recognize of course there is no question that his home of palestine, his home of gaza was under a much more civil government when they were being under the british rule, egyptian and even israeli rule, he recognize things went downhill with Yassar Afafat and with hamas things have been atrocious. Ainsley what is your message for people praising at these propalestinian or prohamas rallies really . We were listening to the people speaking before this. Saying i cant believe it, i can barely believe it myself. Im in the same position, im reading up on Georgetown University buildings projected up there saying, you know, glory to the martyrs and all sorts of other statements. It is really shocking to me because up until now i really was very aware of the antisemitism in the muslim and arab world, but the antisemitism here in the west has been qu quietly bubbling under the surface and you dont think you are going to see it so widespread or see people walking in the streets, gas the jews, and f the jews, and im not even a jewish people and im having trouble comprehending this. There are people going to school and universities and feeling like, we dont feel safe, we dont feel our children are safe. Ainsley let me ask you it is demonic. Ainsley how did hamas come into power. They won the election, is that because people were too scared to vote otherwise, they knew they could be killed if they did . Explain how they came to power. So when israel left gaza, they it was up to them now. This is 9000 israelis left, they exhumed the dead and took them off the land and said this land is yours, and hamas came in with all sorts of promises and not like the people of gaza at this point, the secular government of gaza did not get their act together in time. Hamas of course is being funded from dee
