Gillian welcome back. Secretary of state Antony Blinken is calling for the after a if that crossing between gaza and israel between gaza and egypt, excuse me, to remain open as humanitarian aid rickles in. Im illinois january turner, great To Be With You, griff. Griff here we go, im griff jenkins. President Biden Defining the u. S. role in the israelhamas role in a speech thursday night and canning for 105 worth of aid. We have Fox Team Coverage with peter doocy at the white house, greg palkot in the israellebanon border and trey yingst in Southern Israel where we begin. Whats the latest there . Reporter griff, good afternoon. Just a few moments ago we saw more rockets fire from the gaza strip toward Southern Israel. It comes as the israelis continue their airstrikes all throughout gaza a trying to hit different hamas positions. I do want to show you as our cameraman was filming earlier, the israelis Striking Gaza A right before our eyes. Take a look. [background sounds] you can see the israelis there continuing to strike targets along the gaza strip, this time hitting a position just on the edge of the border. Hamas and Islamic Jihad are continuing their rocket fire and mortar fire into Southern Israel, but with the roar of israeli fighter jets overhead, we do expect them to continue targeting different areas of the strip. This comes as we do have some updates for you. Fox news has collusively obtained and reviewed an israeli Interrogation Video of a hamas militant that crossed into southern is his Israel On October 7th and participated in the massacre of so many innocent civilians. Some of what im about to describe ising extremely graphic, but this fighter telling the interrogator in the video, a man in his 20s in a white cloth jump suit, talks about the coordination and planning that went into the attack, using telegram to communicate in realtime and send videos of the massacre to other hamas members in Southern Israel. Additionally, he talks about how jeeps were used along with trucks to enter the southern part of this country of weve seen the pickup trucks left behind by these militants, and they entered these Communities Just slaughtering people. I do want to talk about what he explained to this interrogator regarding islam. He act moms the that in islam you are not to supposed to kill women, children and the elderly but says hamas individuals ordered individuals to do that, telling them to behead them and cut their feet. These graphic descriptions of what the militants did just give you some idea of the plans and the executions that took place in Southern Israel just two weeks ago. We did leave out some of the details from this Interrogation Video that we learned about what took place here, what was done to people after they were killed because they are simply too graphic to describe on the. Of but it gives you on tv. It gives you an idea why israel is preparing for a Ground Operation following that massacre of their people. Griff remarkable reporting, trey. It appears from this Interrogation Tape that our worst fears of the most inhumane, despicable acts of horror did transpire. Has that impacted those troops on that gaza border wanting to go in . The idf troops, that is. Reporter absolutely. They are motivated to bring the fight back to hamas. Theyre learning more each and every day about what took place and what was done to the israeli people. And i do just for a moment want to give credit to my producer who has helped us to report out this story. Some of the details are so graphic and what was done to the female population, the women of Southern Israel. Again, we cant describe them on tv. But the reporting requires delicacy, and it requires compassion, and were able to bring that as a team here in Southern Israel as we talk to the civilians and they recount what they saw and what they experienced, those who survived. And as we review the information we receive. But the soldiers are motivate ised, like i said, to bring the fight to ma mamas. They understand hamas. Theyve seen the images, they went into these communities. We were in one today, and we walked into houses once again that were covered in blood. And we talked to these soldiers that went into battle, they ran into a fire fight with these hamas militants not knowing if they would survive. The brigade that responded to that one kibbutz lost eight of its soldiers in the response. Is and it just gives you a sense the bravery these men and women have in Southern Israel. Griff . Griff incredible insight you are bringing us. Thank you, trey. And and the fearless reporting, you and your cameraman please stay safe. Gillian tensions flaring along israels border with lebanon as iranbacked hezbollah is exchanging fire with israel. Greg palkot is at the Border Reporting for us this hour. Hi, greg. Reporter hi, illinoisan. Yeah, in the past several hours weve been witnessing exchanges of fire between the iranianbacked Hezbollah Group and israel which is where israels Defense Minister was earlier told meeting with troops a i long the border. His message was pretty strong. He claims the iranbacked hezbollah has decided to get into the fight and that they, these are his words, will pay a heavy price. Hezbollah and related groups have been shooting rockets, antitank missiles and mortars, israel responding with artillery, tanks, antimissile defenses. There have been 40 hezbollah and related fighters killed in the past two weeks, we are told 6 Israeli Soldiers including an israeliamerican raised in rockville, maryland. He came over here to fight. He was a reservist, he was caught right up and shot dead by a militant on a mountain near us. The Army Ordering 20,000 people from from the the border ton of kiryat shmona, there have been casualties and damage there. Theyre being sheltered in a coastal city in lebanon. Still, as another Israeli Military source told us today, hezbollah so far has been holding back its full and mighty force and, frankly, so has israel. But everyone agrees it wont take much to turn this front into yet another major war. Back to you. Gillian greg palkot on the ground this hour, thank you very much. Griff . Griff President Biden speaking on the phone yesterday with two americans released by hamas this week promising full support of the u. S. Government in their recovery. Peter doocy is live at the white house with more, and the commitment to rescue americans in gaza. Hey, peter. Reporter and, griff, weve got our first look and listen inside to value office as President Biden was phoning those american hostages just a few hours after they were released from hamas captivity in gaza. Thank you so very, very much. Hey, m nat, how are you . God love you. [inaudible] well, i look, thats been long serving. Im just glad to get you out. Weve been working on it a long time. Were going to get them all out, god willing, i just want reporter other than that, its been kind of a confusing weekend here on the biden beat because publicly he and the team are very supportive of israel hitting back at hamas, but he appeared to confirm reports that privately he wants the israelis to slow down. Reporter how was your call with the freed americans . [inaudible] should israel delay the Ground Invasion [inaudible] to get more hostages out . Yes. Reporter but, no. The white house Comms Director tells us the president was far away, he didnt hear the full question. The question sounded like would you like to see more hostages released, he wasnt commenting on anything else. Just before that, President Biden gave credence to theories that hamas attacked israel. President biden said at a fundraiser last night, i think one of the reasons why they acted like they did and why folkses moved hamas moved on israel as they have, is they knew i was about to sit down with the saudis who are not i wouldnt call them the greatest democracy in the world. We dont know exactly how much President Biden has on his plate today from his residence in rehoboth beach, delaware. Griff . Griff peter doocy live on the north lawn, thank you. Gillian . Gillian thank you, griff. For more on the ground in tel aviv, were going by israeli Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahus spokesperson with us this afternoon. We appreciate it. I want to ask you to comment on the latest numbers that we have been given coming out of your side in this conflict. Were looking at 1400 plus israelis killed so far, 5,000 plus Israelis Wounded and 210 israeli hostages remain in hamas custody as of this hour. Are those the numbers, the latest numbers that you can confirm, and what can you tell us about these people . Indeed. Those are the numbers. I can add to that that between 100 and 200 israelis are still unaccounted for. We are 14 rather, 15 days now after that terrible October 7th Massacre thats forced us into a war against hamas because we have decided at a nation that we can no longer live with this existential, Genocidal Threat next to us. And still so many people are unaccounted for. That means they are either dead and their bodies are inside the gaza strip, maybe these people were abducted by hamas alongside with other 210 israelis, or there is a chance that they are dead is and their bodies are here in israel but are beyond recognition. We are still trying to identify some of the victims because as your reporter just reported in very detailed description, they committed such terrible atrocities that it just very, very difficult to identify the victims. They turned people into ashes, children and baby, elderly included. Thats what they did. Gillian tal, if you look at The Big Picture in the region, weve seen antiisraeli protests turn very violent at capitols across the middle east, hezbollah stepping up launches across the border on behalf of iran. Do you think there is a chance that we may yet see american boots on the ground inside israel or gaza . Is that something that the Israeli Military would like to see . Well, first, we are grateful for any kind of support and all the support that we have been receiving from the united states, from President Biden and the american people. Were seeing sweeping bipartisan support in the u. S. Congress, and its moral support and material support. President biden said and we are very thankful to that that israel will get the tools to do what has to be done with hamas because we said that declared goal of the operation right now in gaza gaza is to dismantle hamas. Obviously, we hope that doesnt develop into an allout War Including with hezbollah backed by iran on the northern front. And is we have warned and President Biden as well warned our enemies, our adversaries across the region not to test us. He said it in one word, he said dont. But if israel is needed to act on more than one front, we will, of course, do it because, you know what . We have done this before in two other wars, in 1967 and 1973, and we won. Because we know what it takes to survive in this neighborhood. The jewish people, weve been around in our ancestral homeland for over 3,000 years, and we have developed very good instincts right now. And right now were saying that in order to survive, hamas can be no longer. Gillian earlier this morning u. S. Eastern time, tal, 20 International Trucks of humanitarian aid were allowed to somewhere the the gaza strip. Is this a move the Prime Ministers office is supportive of . Well, first, let me say that the most urgent humanitarian issue inside the gaza strip right now is the condition of 210 israelis being held in captivity there. But what person towns to humanitarian pertains to the humanitarian aid addressed to the palestinians, yes, 20 trucks went in from egypt into the gaza strip. We said we reached certain agreements with our american counterparts that we will not prevent the transfer of Essential Aid including food, water and medical supplies to these areas in the Southern Gaza strip where we called on the population to evacuate to because the heavy fighting is taking place in the north of the strip. And we said that as long as this aid will reach the palestinian people, that we dont want them to get caught in the crossfire, we dont want them to suffer as hamas does, by the way, we will make sure that they will get this humanitarian aid. But this aid can cannot end up in the hands of hamas. Has our condition. That is our condition. Gillian tal heinrich, thank you for taking time with us today, we really appreciate it. Thank you. Gillian well, a 28yearold new york woman is now safely back in the u. S. After surviving the Music Festival that came under hamas terror the attack. Hamas killed more than 250 people who were at that festival. Matt finn joins us with the details of one womans story. Hi, matt. Reporter hi, gillian. We spoke with natalie, shes an american citizen with an israeliborn mother, and they make a trip to israel just about every year. And two weeks ago today natalie was at that Music Festival that was invaded by Hamas Terrorists. Hundreds of people killed, many others taken hostage. Natalie tells us at first she tried to escape by car but eventually ran for her life on foot, and now she says her shock and anguish is compounded by Video ShowingHamas Terrorists randomly shooting into bathrooms that she used just before fleeing. I saw the Video Surface for the first time of the terrorists coming to those exact bathrooms and just shooting at all the stalls tying to kill anybody who was trying to kill anybody who was inside. And for me, i think that was one of the moments that made everything the most real to me of how much my life was in danger. And that if i was in those bathrooms just a little bit later, i would have been shot. Reporter natalie says she ran for four hours and eventually found safety at a nearby town where she met e a Good Samaritan that let her hide in the trunk of a car to get to the border and out of israel. And now that shes back in the united states, she wants to spread her story and let people know that she was among the hundreds of innocent people at this Music Festival that was aimed at promoting peace when it was invaded by Hamas Terrorists. Gillian. Gillian matt friendship, thank you for that matt finn, thank you for that. Griff friday florida Congressman Cory Mills organized the evacuations of 32 americans out of israel. Joining us now are two of those americans who safely returned, pastor todd cox and silver grout. Passes to have, where were you, and when was your reaction when Congressman Mills was able to get you and silver out . Well, thank you, griff. It was an amazing rescue story. I believe god used a friend of mine, Michelle Smith out of texas, to contact representative cory mills. And coming in and rescuing us as we had been there about seven days. We were in nazareth, he flew in to jordan. He came across the border, met us in nazareth at our hotel at our tour bus, and he rode with us all the way across the jordan border, took care of us in jordan, and hes a true american hero. Were just thankful to the lord for him. Griff silver, i want to go right to a part of this story that really struck me, and, that is the a day after these horrific attacks before you were rescued by Congressman Mills, you chose to be baptized in a river. Why did you make that choice, and what was going through your mind . Heres a pick orture of you being baptized picture. And this comes after youre already aware that this horrific attack has happened in israel. Thats right, griff. And, you know, im reminded of one of the conversations that i had on the ground with an israeli after, in the aftermath of this horrific attack, and they told us, you know, hamas would love nothing more for us to cower down in fear and stop living our lives. But if we can, uni, move forward give in to that fear, thats when they lose this war. That moment for me, im reminded by second timothy 1 7 that god doesnt give us a spirit of fear. And for me, that was refusing to get into the fear and telling the enemy youre to not going to win this, and im going to publicly declare my faith in the middle of a war zone. Griff so let me follow up on that. How concerned were you for your own safety and those around you in the wake of the news of hearing about the attack . You know, obviously a lot of reporting, a lot of uncertainty. I was concerned but, ultimately, i did have this peace that i knew i would be okay, i knew other america
