What struck me is how little talk about the economy because to me, is the issue that matters the most and according to the polls, the issue that matters the most to you. People are struggling, 60 of the people watching right now are living paycheck to paycheck. Nothing to be embarrassed about, is just the fact. Savings are drying up like three pandemic levels buying groceries and gas is a challenge to survive and drink the pockets of parents on childcare and grants are about to go away. All these factors are taking a toll on all of us so the last thing we need is another Conditioning Factor but we have one. This week we got it and became front and center and clear, the issue is crime. Taking a toll on the economy. The outrageous videos receive to either side of me we see everyday like this not only impacting your safety, we get that but also impacting your wallet. Retailers say theyve lost 112 billion in inventory last year due to crime. We can only imagine what this years numbers will be like. The Organized Retail Crime Spree is forcing stores to close shop illuminating jobs and taking away peoples livelihoods. You can see attacks taking place in the heart of American Cities everyday. What about where it started in philadelphia this week . Anarchy with mask children, footlocker, lululemon, apple stores, liquor stores. [laughter] nuts. The country feeling unhinged especially when you see crimes like this taking place. [bleep] [bleep] what the [bleep] all he did wrong was walk. Business owners are so fed up the crime to put their profits on the line. They close up shop for the day in a strike about 100, a desperate plea to lawmakers to put more police on the streets. Local businesses, restaurants, retailers are struggling not only to keep their doors open and work and customers safe. It is not just mom and top pop shops, cds, i was stunned. They are closing 900 stores by the end of this year, thats 10 of the stores in the country. Shoplifting. Target announced this week it was shuddering stores all over because of Safety Concerns so essentially, the same thing. The crime rates through our country goes beyond bottom line and profit margins. Its about you, your safety and your quality of life and most importantly, your money. You talk about the safety aspect, it would be one thing if it was shoplifting but when they take everything and anyone who says anything could be a potential target, start closing their doors and thats whats happening. I walked through the doors all and that was annoying and now they lock everything and they are usually opening it up and you say, is it worth it . Im going to go online or not. He said i built a Convenience Store and he says its by senior centers, they get on the bus for they didnt feel safe and then come back with packages they couldnt carry so theres no local Convenience Stores and never thought about workingclass people go out of town to go to a good store to shop. Produce was better, prices were lower and it was safer so churches were put together and buses, you take a bus over and it was a better Shopping Experience and to this day, i would bump into people i grew up with but you wonder the endgame. What will it take for americans to wake up . Corporate greed is hitting the housing market. We are watching corporations do what . More and more neighborhoods. Im sure almost everyone watching, they tried to buy a house the last three years, they were bidding against someone they didnt meet. Someone kept putting in a higher offer in the kat bidding them. It was a hedge fund so coming in, hedge funds have for 50 billion real estate management, up 50 in a twoyear period and heres the thing, its not all regular homes but they bought the mobile homes out there, they bought the mobile homes and jacked up the rent. Its scary between airbnb and foremost, it wrecked the American Dream and high Interest Rates to mock you hear about this stuff on stage. Your wing for candidate to say corporate buying of houses, you are free market but we cant compete with these Major Companies and banks. Theres so many things that need . And the republican party, you got the orthodoxy that says whatever it takes to get high profits. I think thats going away because those are the same people who say its okay china put companies out of business. The senate voted moments ago to approve the House Pass Continuing Resolution which will fund the government for another 45 days. The bill drops made for ukraine but as u. S. Disaster assistance. House passage came earlier today after speaker Kevin Mccarthy dropped plans for Spending Cuts and relied on democrats to help him push the bill through. If the senate and house and spending workers would have been furloughed and Services Americans rely on would have been disrupted. That something we heard a lot there from Chuck Schumer because he said we are going to take on maga republicans, Kevin Mccarthy was led around by maga republicans and some of the conservative republicans are not happy right now with Kevin Mccarthy because that was the whole deal, they wanted their own individual Spending Bills. They said lets move these through regular order as they said, the problem is republicans in the house could come together on their bills. They were able to knock out a few but it has inflamed conservatives, the fact that they worked with democrats and the republican from colorado is upset, this whole idea of crs, the Spending Bills because they view it as not regular order first of all. Number two, the idea that you are in the new fiscal year after night tonight and what happens in his you are simply renewing the old funding so the conservatives has said this is the old biden funding, they drove Nancy Pelosis name as well and thats why they object and this is what was said earlier today.
