and no democrat votes yes on it then he will just blame the shut down on the democrats and meanwhile, so that's the stared down going on now and we the house and the senate are in a stared down because house democrats want the senate to bring up their version of the cr, which includes ukraine funding about $6 billion. they want the senate to go first assertive out on that in the senate is steps of the capitol earlier saying that the motion to vacate, and speaker mccarthy, from his job is not foremost on his mind. but clearly, this part of the motivation behind that and if the speaker does cooperate with the democrats, get something done with democratic votes, wouldn't up with the speakers job in jeopardy and what we have a motion to vacate at that point from the hardliners. >> it of midnight tonight. mind you, they would get pay retroactive when the government comes back online. a lot of federal contractors may not be so lucky the contracts may not give them back pay when the government reignite. and it is not as if we have not had one of these before, we have had several government shutdowns of the last 20 or 30 years and we know how to manage through them but it is not a good example of how these elective officials are supposed to be managing the administration of our country. arthel: right and i know we've had a before and you had some people who would be furloughed, it was money aside but let's be real about this, not everybody can wait for another 30 days, 60 days, you know 90 days to get paid. regardless if they put something on the site but you are talking about management. meanwhile john from there such distrust in congress that you have democrats, asking release 90 minutes to read this proposal in the gop side brought to the floor this morning and you know the democrats are saying that they want to read it line by line to make sure that nothing has been stuck in and again, he goes back to your point of the lack of management on their part and so how long can congress survive with such distrust and erosion of decorum and frankly indecency some might say. john: i think there's no indication this way to get better anytime soon and if anything, the polarization that we talk about, basically what is happening as you have these district gerrymandering in such ways of people do not have to compete for the middle line moderate voter, i can very
