america, that's the focus of tonight's angle. >> if you have a problem figuring out whether you are for me or trump, then you ain't black. >> it don't have nothing to do with trump it. has to do with the fact that i want something for my community. i would love to see -- >> -- take a look at my record, man. >> now being taken for granted, it's a lousy feeling whether it's in friendships or business or politics. no one wants to feel under appreciated or under served. at some point the relationship either changes or there is a break-up. and there are sides that this dynamic is at play between democrats and african-american voters. now, in 2020, trump won 8% of the black vote. but two and a half years later, 20% of them are saying they are supporting trump now. and here are some other headlines that should grab your attention. from reuters, some black men lose faith in biden. democrats in 2024. "the washington post" last month democrats worry their most loyal voters won't turn out for biden in 2024. and in politico they are reporting voters of color are slamming biden's performance on the economy. so, could the tide in some small way really be turning? certainly there is more than ample reason for black americans to at least start considering other options. and some already have. >> i was told i was black. and i should vote democrat. i'm not doing that no more. we need somebody that is real. not these oh these puppets like biden. biden is a puppet. >> wake up, people. this government doesn't care about us. we need to get trump back in office. trump 2024, guys. this is the only way we are going to be able to survive. >> black people have historically -- not historically recently have been brainwashed into thinking that we're supposed to vote democrat. black people are really on the fence. they don't want to vote for joe biden. >> laura: now, given the nightmarishly cost of living and the high prices and crime ridden streets of urban america, the democrats have no real list of accomplish. s to brag about in places like chicago, oakland, st. louis, really anywhere. on top of that, some black americans see trump and they identify with what he is going through. persecution by a corrupt justice system. now, d.a. fani willis' attempt to humiliate president trump with that mugshot, well, that was an epic fail. >> [bleep] trump get cricket convicted of this crime and he can still run for president. i'm voting for him, i'm telling you right now, make america great again. ha ha. >> when are you guys going to learn? the more you indict, the more we unite. trump 2024. you heard me whoop whoop. the hood got this man back. it's trump 2024. >> that's what it's going to be because we ain't having nothing else. >> laura: now, even those who are skeptical of trump relate how it must feel to have the federal, state, city and county prosecutors all of their resources circling one man, one target. meanwhile all of us can see that somehow the biden family got really rich, even though their patriarch has been a civil servant for 50 years. >> top priority is hisself and his family. he don't care about the american people. >> i don't even know his priorities so i could hear his name as sleepy joe because he doesn't do anything. >> laura: will this state of the economy under biden actually translate into the votes for the republican nominee? actually it depends. the democrats are clearly starting to worry big time. this from the hill today a top democrat consultant issuing a warning to his party saying we have to be very clear about the barrier we are trying to overcome. it's not how do we make them like biden. the barrier is how do we convince them that government works? well, we do that by showing how we make their lives better. but, the point is that's a really heavy lift given the wreckage that biden has left in his wake, especially evident among urban americans. and the minority community is really feeling it. again, crime and drug ridden infested streets in first of all. >> you see the people falling apart, limbs falling off, his arms, it looks like a zombie movie. that's what you are seeing with the xylazine and the tranq is everybody laying face down on the ground. that's what the tranq is. >> laura: to the catering of illegals flooding across our border, the state department of labor launch a new program this september to immediately place asylum seekers and jobs just as soon as they are legally able to work. i'm ordering the department of labor connect asylum seekers with potential employers in anticipation of them receiving the work authorization. >> laura: to the destruction of our schools? >> new federal test scores outlining the troubling new reality for u.s. students. math and reading performances for 13-year-olds plummeted to the lowest scores in decades. of. >> laura: but at least they're sexualizing the curricula in schools with all these twisted gender theories. >> after becoming aware of the inappropriate materials in our schools, i am now actively engaged with school boards and communities up and down our state. we don't give them another inch, another second of our time to strip our children's innocence from them. you better stop coming for our kids. >> fact is biden would have lost big without a big turnout from african-americans in 2020. we saw that in pennsylvania, we saw that in georgia. and democrats know full well without a similar groundswell next fall, biden can't win. so what are democrats going to do? they are going to do what they always do. they are going to lie about america. everyone knows that racism is a cancer and it still exists in pockets of the country. but, because biden has no positive agenda to share with black america, he has to sell fear and engage in the most despicable slander. >> white supremacy is a poison. it's a poison. it's been allowed to grow faster and fester in our communities. domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the homeland, the greatest threat. we have to act. >> laura: no, joe. the greatest threat to the african-american community right now, democrats who have nothing to offer other than trash talk and division. and the patronizing racial bile of course is going to be spewed against whatever other tricks democrats have up their sleeves. especially thinking things like covid restrictions, mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, early voting, you get the picture. so my question tonight, are republicans yesterday for this? biden's only giving them a huge opening here. i say it's time to meet black voters where they are, wherever they are. remember, reagan campaigned in the south, even though carter was from georgia. and since republicans generally love all people and support african-americans, they should start showing un. start showing their love and their respect by showing up where african-americans are. because the truth is that serve populist agenda will truly help those in america who need it most. we saw it for three years under trump and if we alcohol those same policies we can do it again. the border will be enforced, wages will start to go up again. there will be no more new wars. inflation is going to be tackled. gasoline will be affordable again. and parents will be respected. not insulted. african-americans have the power to save america in 2024. so let's help them. and that's the angle. joining me now is madeline bremen. she is the national crime victim's advocate and ceo of rescue angel and legal commentator. madeline, i want to get your reaction to what i just said because you aren't a political pundit or commentator. you're someone who voted democrat for most of your life. tell us what you are seeing out there. >> thank you, laura, so much for having me. that was a powerful segment that you just presented. and you summed it up basically, you know, what the african-american community is experiencing. myself as a 40 year loyal democrat because that's what we were told black people was suppose was democrat until i realized in 2020 after my son was killed. the way i was treated by the criminal justice system here in new york the justice i did not receive for the murder of my son by democratic district attorney alvin bragg. and then i -- like everyone else, all you have to do is just step out of your front door and you could see the dilapidated housing, the failing schools, the crime, the poverty the are up a away drug use, the abortion, the open air safe injection sites, all of that stuff, you don't have to go far, when you are from the hood, all you have to do is step outside your door. but, we continue to give our votes away for nothing in return. so that's one of the primary reasons why i decided to vote for trump in 2020. then i officially changed my party affiliation to conservative. because i have conservative values. i believe in god, nuclear family, and country unapologetically. i was raised with those will have as. but, because i'm black, i was told that that's what democrats are supposed to vote. >> laura: madeline, what's your message now, before we get to horace, what's your message now to joe biden? his point is white supremacy is the biggest threat to the country or black america now. is that the way you see it? >> absolutely not. the biggest threat to america right now is that they continue to impose on us and we continue to chase the ghost of slavery past. and we continue -- they continue with the narrative to keep us enslaved in our minds with the slavery and oppression and racism. we have been marching for 60-damn years to reach the mountain top. and we have not made it yet. we have the al sharptons of the world who now is going to go and march while the rest at the bottom of the little 60 years he is the only one seemed to made it to the mountain top. >> laura: horace, this is a powerful message from madeline. i think there are a lot of people across the country who didn't experience the just horrific tragedy that she did, receive the treatment from bragg that she believes she received do you see this as, perhaps, a turning point among some segment of the black community, given what's happened to this nation in two and a half years? >> well, first, let me say this project 21 is nonpartisan. we are made up of conservatives and libertarians. a lot of americans who share our views, like family, like hard work, and patriotism. i just had my most recent book out, how biden's policies harm blacks. it's put y'all back in chains. more and black americans are looking around and they are seeing that these policies, the bidenomics vision hurts america and it particularly hurts blacks. the main reason for that is the best advice anyone could give you, don't partner with a deadbeat dad. the democrats, the progressives have pushed a deadbeat dad, it's called uncle sam, big government, whatever you want to call it, the check. this deadbeat dad does not care about your child. this deadbeat dad will push you to abort your child. this deadbeat dad is going to see that you live in the most corrupt and dangerous community possible. this deadbeat dad doesn't put your interest first. it puts the green agenda first. had the lgbtq agenda first. black americans have found, under biden, that their issues are going to the back of the political bus. and more and more black americans realize the deadbeat dad is not the answer for them. >> laura: madeline, joe biden spoke about the economy today. and, again, they are selling this as the great reawakening of growth and prosperity. this is what he said. >> bidenomics is just another way of saying restoring the american dream. i'm proud of the historic laws my administration has passed. they are the right steps to not only get our economy moving again but to build a future better than the past. i'm not trying to return to the past. i'm trying to better the future than we had. >> laura: madeline, is that what african-americans are seeing that the future is looking really bright with cost of energy and the cost of living and the rising crime and the open border? that's all going to be good for black america? >> absolutely not. three years ago, the same salary, okay, used to pay all of my bills, all right? >> i was able to -- was able to live from paycheck to paycheck. maybe save a few dollars. all right? get my credit, you know, pay off my credit cards. three years later, i'm now scraping the bottom of my change jar, all right, to buy a loaf of bread, all right, with the same salary, the same spending habits, and everything. all right? joe biden is lying about the economy. all right? we are being killed out here. the middle class has been pushed down until the working poor, the working poor has been pushed down to the working dirt poor, all right? we cannot survive, all right. we are barely making it with the same salary, with the same spending habits. the prices are just out of control i hope the country is watching tonight. republicans who want to run for office i hope they are watching this. and i hope we as americans can come together for a better day. this is about common sense at some point madeline and horace, thank you both. all right, if you have a daughter who is going to college soon -- and i do -- you're going to want to see this upcoming segment. a group of sorority sisters suing after a guy was inducted into their chapter. the judge in the case just told them take a hike. one of the sisters is here exclusively. she is not happy. plus my exclusive interview with trump co-defendant john eastman is next. stay there. ♪ ♪ >> laura: next wednesday, trump and his 18 co-defendants will be arraigned on charges that they conspired to overturn the 2020 election. now, three of those defendants have already pled not guilty. trump is expected to be the first arraigned next wednesday and then the others will come in 15-minute increments. the third to go will be attorney john eastman who has nine charges lodged against him most notably under ricco. but, before he heads to court to enter his plea, he decided to come on the angle. here is part one of my interview with trump co-defendant john eastman. >> laura: why did you decide to speak out tonight knowing that anything you say to the media or to this program could then be potentially used genels against you. >> laura, first thanks for having me on. look, i have been speaking out all along. we did nothing wrong. we were challenging the election for what even vice president pence described as serious allegations of fraud and numerous instances of officials violating stated law. and if we can't speak out about that, then our freedom of speech, our right to petition the government for redress of grievances are gone. also importantly, i'm an attorney. and, you know, the people that i was representing had a right to counsel. and what's going on here with the bar complaints against anybody involved in any of the litigation, this fulton county complaint. >> the unindicted co-conspirator and the federal action they are trying to stifle people from get representation in election challenges. they made that very clear what they are up to and we can't allow it to happen. >> laura: their argue; i guess, on the other side of that is you can pierce the attorney-client privilege if no reasonable attorney could have adopted the position, ya da ya da ya da. they cite this i guess, mark zeligman bar expert who looked into both the 12th amendment and the 1887 electoral act on the issue of the electors. but on the issue of the attorney-client privilege they claim that there was no reasonable, you know, good faith position that you could have taken here and if i guess if there was a reasonable possibility a crime had been committed, then that attorney-client privilege goes out the window. how would you respond to that? >> look, if disputed questions of constitutional law all of a sudden become criminal, we could throw, you know, the entire legal profession, the entire legal academy in jail. mr. suleman, as we do our cross-examination and we put our my expert out in the california bar thing will find out that there is a whole lot of stuff that he omitted, including some rather significant stuff in the federal convention dealing with this issue that he doesn't cite at all. the fact of the matter is throughout our history, significant leaders in congress have argued that congress doesn't have authority under the 12th amendment that the founders specifically designed it that way so that the president wouldn't owe his job to congress. it's a core separation of powers principle that the founders adopted. and he just doesn't -- he ignores that in his analysis. so the notion that this is well settled is crazy. >> laura: on the ricco side of the fulton county case, that -- that would require findings of bad faith on the part of, you know, all the co-defendants that were engaged in this ricco conspiracy according to this fani willis. so, on that score, john, that would have to be you all basically agreeing, implicitly, explicitly that you all knew this was phoney and that your decision amongst yourselves was to advance the plan to overturn the election. and to that you say? >> they got all the evidence. they got all my emails. my phone was seized over a year ago. they have got all that stuff as well. i challenge them to find a single email or communication that supports that implausible theory. the fact of the matter is -- oh, you know, one of the other things they said well bill barr said there wasn't any evidence of fraud. well, i had lots of evidence of fraud. >> laura: i haven't seen that evidence and i'm always wanting to see everything. i haven't seen that evidence. and i would love to see that evidence. but, i don't know, the thing that i always come back to in in this particular case is the trump team didn't have-the legal work done on the early side? right? preelection, whether it was mail-in ballots or ballot harvesting or the lousy laws being passed in some of these states in a manner that should have never have happened. that because that preliminary legal work hadn't been done, and really great lawyers weren't in place. that handicapped any effort to challenge the election in a successful way in court. then the supreme court said we are not going to take this case in pennsylvania. that obviously hobbled you as well. do you understand that concern? >> yeah it. did hobble that a little bit. i want to push back a little bit, laura. there were teams in place. there were lawsuits filed ahead of time. until it actually happens on election day the case is not ripe. then, when it happened on election day, the suit was rebrought and thrown out on laches ground or you can't wait until your guy loses and bring the case. there were efforts to intervene by the campaign by state legislators that were rejected. >> laura: the problem we keep coming back to was the election was called for biden. biden was inaugurated, right? he became president of the united states and the conversation is always going back to 2020. i get people want elections to be fair and people have to believe in the outcome or we're going to have a heap of trouble going forward, period, end of story. my concern about this is that this is a effort to not only stop legal representation, but to prevent people from going had into public service at all. i mean, if you are an anti establishment person, if you don't believe in a certain set of issues you really are effective in doing that then you are going to have a target on your back whether it's you or some other lawyer down the road. it's going to be very difficult for people to put their family, their education, their bar license, or whatever license up in the air. because of a threat of basically what you are going through. that's my big concern here. and it's a huge concern. >> it is. but, the answer is not to just, you know, take a powder and concede. because threaten it will get worse on the next go around. the answer is to fight it with everything we have got because what's at stake here is too important. people keep asking me why don't you move on? why do you keep focusing on the 2020 election? >> laura: you have to focus on it? >> we don't need to get into whether there was fraud or not. there was clearly illegality. non-legislative officials changes the rules of the game up to the election in pennsylvania even after the election changing can the rules of the game. if we don't fight back against that we will never have a free election again. we will cease to be a people governed. those are the stakes here. >> laura: not only re-litigate 2020 as i said the day after the election or the day after that. john roberts decided he wasn't going to take the case at the court. so i mean in pennsylvania that was it. there was nothing else you guys were going to do in pennsylvania in my view at that point. john, for people who don't know how you got into the trump mix. how did you actually become part of the legal team? i don't even recall this? >> well, you know, i had written a very prominent article on birthright citizenship. that was one of the issues he wanted to take up in the campaign. and when other law firms were withdrawing and they needed a constitutional expert. i had that connection with him. but i had also been retained by the florida legislature in 2,000 as an expert on these very issues. so i there were probably half a dozen people ever dealt with them before and i was one of them. that probably jumped me to the front of the line i suspect. >> laura: tomorrow, you we will hear part two of my exclusive interview with former trump attorney john eastman. i asked him what everyone was thinking about or maybe you wanted to know as well when he was at that january 6th rally with president trump, what did they all hope would happen at the capitol? >> well, i think there is a concern -- well, there is two things going on in the biden administration. one, they believe that the preempt meant national security threat is not china, it's climate change. if you read the national security strategy. >> laura: or white supremacy. >> exactly. therefore it leads them to a more cooperative approach to the chinese communist party. and a lot of this naive thinking if we just revive the policy diplomatic and economic engagement good things will happen even though it's failed for over two decades. i call this zombie engagement. we thought it was dead but it's coming out of the grave right now and it's going to haunt us. of course, the risk is that that we find ourselves stumbling into confront television china that has the potential to make what is happening in ukraine or even previous look constrained. that's what skerness me with this renewed engagement push. >> laura: congressman, we really appreciate what you are doing. thank you very much for doing it and for your piece. it was terrific. up next, what is a woman? >> no, or laura could not immediately. but the fight continues on. we are prepared with a litany of additional legal filings in this increased retaliation by headquarters will not be allowed to stand. it is interesting that we can't define women in a court of law. but this really is not about defining women anymore. this is about erasing women. now it appears that being a woman is nothing more than a clever game of semantics. that one can just decide that one is a woman. and along with that, becomes all the entitlements and these young women are so brave. i can't emphasize that enough. >> laura: they are a incredible. yeah. they are amazing and allie, i think you are still there. you know, the idea of having a space for women, is that not -- i guess that is just not going to happen anymore. you can have a space just for young women on a college campus. >> that is what they are trying to do. we are here to make sure that the -- that that does not happen. it is important to have a comfortable spot where we can learn and grow together in a safe environment where we don't have to deal with outside pressures. and we're going to keep fighting for that. >> laura: well, allie, cassie, thank you both for being here. this is insane. this is absolute insanity and african-americans watching the show gets a lot of reaction to angle tonight. that story also should get people mobilized for 2024. set your dvr. never miss us on the ankle and part two of my exclusive interview with john aislin tomorrow night. jesse is next. ♪ ♪ >> jesse: welcome to "jesse watters primetime." tonight, there's an alliance you are saying. kennedy waters. a walk in the park. >> my name is richie cunningham. and this is my wife. >> jesse: joe biden's aliases, 5,000 secret e-mails covered up. >> i got my shot today i did not want to do it. but i work for a company that mandates it. to mandate it is sick. >> jes:
